Initial Business Response / [redacted] (1000, 9, 2015/09/10) */ We have spoken to [redacted] and his wife several times about this issueon X-XX-XXXX the [redacted] purchased a SpickupWe have every vehicle inspected by third party mechanical shops for safety and major mechanical issues [redacted] in Wheat Ridge, CO inspected this vehicle and did not advise us of any major mechanical issues and we elected to fix a few minor issues and to have a preformed lube, oil and filter service preformedWe were asking $for the [redacted] SPick up but the [redacted] negotiated the price to $and purchased the vehicle signing of the State, Federal and bank documents required to complete the sale [redacted] our sales manager explained to the [redacted] that were not making now money on this after paying the salesman commission and that we would go ahead and sell the vehicle if they tried to bring some referrals and their future businessIn fact, the profit was $before commissions and $-after commission was paidA few days after the sale the [redacted] called the store to tell [redacted] that there was some oil drops on the ground and they were taking their Sto their mechanic to get it checked out [redacted] let them know that they bought the vehicle AS-IS, they signed the form, they refused the warranty that we offered them at the time of sale and reminded them that they negotiated the price to deal that didn't allow us to help them out of "Goodwill." The [redacted] called [redacted] again and told him that they wanted us to fix a number of issues the vehicle had according to their mechanic for approximately $ [redacted] reminded them of our position and offered to have our mechanic look at the vehicle and have it fix at our wholesale cost but the [redacted] would have to pay itThey were upset but agreed to take it to our mechanic and our mechanic said that the only issues that he would address would cost them about $saving them about $The [redacted] called [redacted] again asking him to pay for the repairs and again [redacted] reminded them our positionThe [redacted] were upset but I believe they proceeded to do the work at our mechanic to receive the discount and they paid for itThe [redacted] had every opportunity to take the vehicle to their mechanic before the sale and we wish they hadThey were comfortable with the way the vehicle looked, the way it drove and none of us noticed any major leaks where the vehicle sat on the lotThe [redacted] made us a low ball offer that we regrettably accepted because we thought we were selling a great little truck for great deal and that we are building good relationships for the futureIf the taxes were not already paid and the deal was not funded by the [redacted] I would offered to buy the vehicle back to try make them happy but to fix it would be out of the questionThe [redacted] have gave us a bad review on [redacted] and are now trying to damage our reputation with the Revdex.comWe treat our customers right and normally I have room in a deal to help them more but in this case I have to say they did a great job negotiating the purchase for the Sbut they will have spend some money to fix the little issues that will come up because they bought it and they did not want a WARRANTYThis compliant is unjust and should be disregarded
