Customer declined extended warranty offered at time of saleVehicle sold with 80k plus miles is as isOften times we offer a day 50/warrantyIf that was applied that would be expired as wellWe will be happy to trade the customer out of the vehicle but the value will be at current market
value and no reimbursement will be offered for their repairs

Complaint:
I am rejecting this response because:
This vehicle is used to drive to and from work, not off roadingWhen we purchased the vehicle we made it very clear, my son was looking for a SAFE and RELIABLE vehicle to drive to and from workBeing that the vehicle broke down two days after purchase and continued to have issues AND the complaint about the front end was COMPLETELY IGNORED this is and was never by any means a SAFE RELIABLE vehicle and indicated by the dealerThe dealer lied to us multiple timesNOT ONLY THAT, the front end (Rack & Pinion) was completely unsafe and was the front end issue from the beginningThe problem the dealer said did not existMy son could have been killed driving this vehicleI have had a out side mechanic tell me this and the reputable dealer we took it too now tell me that they would have never sold this truck in this conditionThe Rack & Pinon was so bad and leaking oil that it is and WAS completely unsafe to sell.

Complaint:
I am rejecting this response because:
I was never offered extended warranty on the vehicle, my salesman(J*** ***) told me to sign a paper that said I needed to have gap insurance and crossed everything else offWhen I initially went to the dealer to talk to MrR*** about the problem, first he asked which warranty I wanted and when he walked away and came back he told me they could not offer me warranty because the vehicle had too many milesIf I would have been offered warranty I would have bought itNow I'm stuck with this vehicle with a $problemI would appreciate anything that can be done for meMy son and I have called several times and they are not willing to do anythingThanks in advance and I look forward to hearing from you

As we stated in the previous response the vehicle can be traded in, or repaired with the service contractWe did not lie about the condition of the vehicleIt was also inspected by a reputable Toyota dealership when we had a recall done before the vehicle was soldI attached the repair order from that toyota dealershipThey did a multi-point inspection and did not recommend any work or indicate anything about the vehicle being unsafeThe customer also had the opportunity to take the vehicle to a third party for inspection prior to saleThis problem with the rack and pinion clearly happened after the vehicle was purchasedAs vehicles are driven it is standard for maintenance and repairs to be done as the car ages, especially with high mileage, that is why our dealership offers extended service contractsWhich we recommended that this customer purchase in the event that the vehicle would need repairs

The dba name is DYLAN Concrete (not Dillon Concrete, as input). The copy of the contract has his address scribbled at the top, but it is not legibleI tried to find his address online, but only found the address he used with his last concrete business (which is what I used on the original complaint,
but I'm pretty sure it is not current). You will see a number for "*** at the top left, which is reference he gave me to callHe knew the number by heart so he probably knows him personally. My downpayment of $was made using a check, copy also uploadedThe $was to purchase the materials for both patios, but only 1/was received and used. There were two patios included in the estimate, a small 5'x9.5' one that he completed (by pouring dry concrete directly on the ground and without any preparation), and the 10'x10.5' area that was not completedI can provide pictures of both areas if needed

Complaint:
I am rejecting this response because: Their attachment shows only recall inspection was requestedSee my full responce in my attachment

I am rejecting this response because:
I was not offered the extended warranty, the salesman crossed everything out and circled gap and said you need to get gap warranty, please sign here. When I went to the dealership and spoke with someone I was told I was in time and I could still get warranty, then the man walked away came back and said they could not offer me the warranty because the vehicle had too many miles.

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID 10957387. The dealership's office manager K[redacted] contacted me after I left a message on Monday, 11/17/2015, with their receptionist Pauline. Katie did respond, very kindly and professionally and was extremely helpful. As I told her myself, all we needed was communication and assistance. This issue was a mishap between the dealership and the auto lender company.  As of today, Thursday, 11/19/2015, the issue has been resolved.

This vehicle had 120228 miles on it and underwent a safety inspection prior to sale. The customer purchased an extended warranty contract that covers repairs. When the customer had problems in September we paid for rental vehicle, towing and paid for all repairs to the vehicle at no charge....

This customer drives the vehicle off roading and this can cause damage to a high mile vehicle at any time. Vehicles that have higher miles can have items that need to be repaired as you drive the vehicle and put more miles on it. When the customer called in for another concern with the vehicle we told them that the service contract was good at any dealership to get the repairs done because the tow to our dealership is further from where they live and operate the vehicle. The car now has over 124000 miles on it and has had use over the past 3 months with the driver taking the vehicle on dirt roads. At this time there is nothing we can do for the customer besides trade in the vehicle for a different car. This vehicle does have a service contract that can be used for repairs at any dealership, should the vehicle need any work done that is covered by that contract.

We offered you all produects that we sell and you signed decline on everything except for gap.

HelloThe sales manager stated that there was an extra $4000.00 rebate through GM Financial bank. The customer wanted to take advantage of this promotion, and pay off the remaining balance when he got the statement in the mail.  The customer came in with a relative when he purchased the car and...

was told this by the sales person, sales manager and finance manager before signing documents for the finance paperwork. He clearly signed a retail installment contract that states $10000.00 amount financed with $35000.00 down payment. He already made a payment of $5000.00 to the bank, and still has a remaining balance on his loan. We can provide the customer copies of the finance paperwork that they clearly signed during the purchase. We treat all customers with respect and explain all paperwork to the customer before going over their contract line by line with them in finance. Please let me know if there is anything else we can do to explain the paperwork.
