Revdex.com spoke with the business who advised this matter is resolve We cancelled the contract and issued a refund

Attention ***I am responding to a complaint filed against our company by *** ***I am acknowledging the delay in the start of work at her homeThere are a few reasons which I will itemize1) We had a huge back log of work after the bad winter storms we had and we unfortunately got
overwhelmed and we were trying our best to keep on schedule2) *** wanted to be home when we were there to work and she only had off on every other WednesdayWe attempted to do the work on those days but the rainy weather was just not cooperating with us and we did get delayed again3) *** had a new litter of puppies and expressed we could not go there to do the work unless she was there because of the puppies4) We did schedule to go there on a Saturday, but unfortunately we got an emergency call from the Town of Greece Police Department early that morning to go board up a convenience store that had broken into over nightUpon our arrival there we were told the person went thru the roof and broke inWe had a lot of damage and not only had to board up the broken glass doors, we had to do a roof repair and clean up the mess in the storeWe had to wait for the officers to finish their investigation before we could start our repairsI did talk with *** that morning and did let her know our situationUnfortunately this was the breaking point for *** ***I did have a conversation with her and advised her we could cancel her contract and refund her depositIn the mean time *** filed her complaint.I did talk with *** and said I would meet with her to have her sign a contract cancel form and I would cut her a refund checkOn June 26, I went to ***'s work upon her request and I did have her sign a cancelization and I gave her a refund check in the amount of $In which she cashed the check the same day. I have a copy of the form she signed and a copy of the cancelled check in her job folderWe do our best to maintain a good relationship with our customers and do our best to make there projects a positive experience, unfortanetly in this case we were not able to do soWe apologize to our customerAt this time we are asking the complaint be dismissed or marked as responded to in a positive way, as we cancelled the contract per the customers request and we refunded there deposit. Revdex.com spoke with the business who advised that the consumer and him agreed to disagree and part ways However the consumer has taken additional action we are unaware of what he is now seeking and we would like to resolve the issue

Revdex.com spoke with the business who advised, there were actually three separate contracts with this consumerCompany helped the consumer obtain financing through a credit union for these jobs, via a personal loan. Consumer provided the business a check in the amount of $on 3/6/15, the
check was returned on 3/11/resulting in a returned fee of $12.00; that payment was for the sliding door contract, which is complete except for a small amount of trim workOn May 7, a check was given to the company for $1525, which was then stopped by the consumer and 5/12/the company protested the check for $ (including fees for the business), this was for the consumers windows At this point the company has stopped work at consumers residence and filed a mechanics lien as they have not been paid for the work completed The basement redo is the only contract not completed at this time However the company has the basement framed, the electrical ran, the plumbing run, and drywall hung Dropped ceilings have not been installed The company still has tools at the consumers home but is not completing any additional work as the work they have done has not been paid for at this time

Revdex.com spoke with the consumer who has advised this matter is NOT resolved.  At this time the consumer has been unable to even contact the business.  The consumer is still seeking the refund for the shoddy installation he...

outside of the window where caulking is doesn't look presentable.  The company has not been non-response throughout this matter.

[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, we would like to know your view on the matter.]George F[redacted] has made zero attempt to resolve this, he has not communicated at all offering any type of resolution.  We did not agree to part ways, George did not show up, did not communicate, did not complete the job as we contracted and paid for.I was very clear and specific in my complaint what resolution I was seeking.  Here is the detail again of what wasn't done that was agreed upon that I now needed to complete on my own:The
following weren’t provided/complete and were part of the contract:
Warranty
documentation for the windows, concern over how they were installed as the
frame was not installed with the window
Material/Installation/Labor
for the following:
Material / Installation of Siding
Material / Installation of Gutters/downspouts
Finish
electric inside, finish electric outside, wires exposed
Provide and install one wired light facing backyard
Provide and install one solar light facing left side of
yard
Finish
interior of house sanding/painting where walls were opened to install French
doors to enter sunroom and provide/install trim
Adjustment
of both sets of French doors as they do not sit and
close/open correctly, there are visible
gaps
Provide
two sets of locks/knobs for each set of French doors
Interior
trim for floor
Trim
for 1 full interior window
Replacement
of one interior window (immediately to the right after entering room from
house) that doesn’t function properly, was told by
Matt that would be ordered and delivered to the house
Replacement
of one crank window to sliding style window
(from kitchen looking into sunroom)
Open
stove vent and refinish (the vent from the
stove that originally vented outside prior to this project was covered/closed
improperly when the room was enclosed.  It was agreed that this would be
opened back up and re-routed properly and everything re-finished.)
Steps to be provided/installed on the left side of yard exiting
the sliding glass door
Ensure existing steps facing backyard are acceptable as they are
and up to code
Ensure final inspection is passedThe sunroom is not complete yet because of the condition George left it in.  There was quite a bit of work left to be completed, as per the list above.  We have scrambled to have contractors, family, friends, other experts in these areas come in and complete the jobs as quickly as possible.  The electrical inspector came today and it did not pass, we are working on having someone correct this.  The building inspector will not come until everything is 100% complete.  This should occur within the next 2 weeks we are hopeful.  We do not know if that will pass, if there are further things that will require re-work/correction.  How will George communicate his offer to resolve?  Is he going to reach out to us directly or through the Revdex.com?

Revdex.com spoke with the consumer who advised that he has received his money back and the matter is Resolved.

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
First of all, this company never helped me get a loan. They told me to go to a bank they supposedly have business with but the bank manager herself told me she had spoke to them once but had never even met them. In regards to the check for $1850, we explained to the owner and sales manager of the company that since the loan we took out was a large amount, the bank put a hold on it and we proceeded to give him the dates the check was going to be released.  Dynabuild owner had no problems with it and collected the entire check up front.  I actually wrote the check on 3/13/2015 to the owners name. the following Monday I called the owner at 7am in the morning and explained to him that I had a situation and I was not going to be able to install the door since I needed the money for something else. As stated above, the first portion of the money was not going to be available until the Wednesday of that week. The owner acknowledge what I said, he said he understood and even offer to maybe do it later on in the year. That same day, this guy tries to cash the check. Obviously there was not enough funds on the account and the check bounced, which cased my bank to charge me $37.00. I immediately called him and asked for an explanation, he said that his bank had check with my bank and confirmed the funds were available. This was a total lie, he acted as if I never told him I was not going to proceed with this door purchase. At this point he apologized and offer to pay my bank fees, which never did. Later that week my husband  and I decided we really wanted the door and figure out a way to get the money. I re-issue this guy another check. It took him 3 weeks before he even started on the door. His employees were struggling to put it on and I actually had to even sleep that night with a board on the outside. There is a lot more to be done than just a small trim work. the wall in unfinished inside, there is a hole on the floor that you can see the basement, the door is actually bowing in the middle and its very hard to open and close. Electrical outlets are to be put outside and inside the house along with a sensor patio light. He left life wires that just pushed down to the basement without any caps or any safety at all. When it rains there is a significant amount of water coming in that door and the trim outside is a joke, the siding is still open and exposed. its a total mess. I have had several contractor at home for a professional advice on the situation and they have said the door needs to be taken out and re installed. Now in regards to the check for $1525, it was supposed to pay the rest of the 5 windows installment I had been waiting on since February. The owner again, came around put on a little work, collected the money and promised that the windows would be finished that day. It actually took a couple of days for them to finish. The job was done very poorly. The caulking that seals the windows inside are all broken and the workers left a mess on the outside. The worse part is that, the bay window ( which was a first window installed back in February and demanded to be paid cash in full same day) is still unfinished inside and out. Now the owner is saying that the window does not require any support outside. The siding and insulation had been expose to weather for a good three month and because its a heavy window you can already see it settling forward, which is about 3/4 of and inch off as of today. The little roof of the window is also unfinished. There is no proper insulation in it either. We have given these people plenty of chances but at this point we have pay about 75% of the total money owned and the owner its making our house an unsafe disaster. My husband called him and complained once again about it and told him that if this was not taken care immediately we would stop all payments until he came and fixed the problems. Owner of the company stated yelling and threatening with putting a lien on the house. He said he would not send anyone else until we sat down and talked about the situation. We reluctantly agree since we had done that many times and things didn't seem to get better. At this point I put a stop payment on this check because the job is not done, the owner is taking advantage of us and therefore its my right not to pay an unfinished job. He never came to the meeting and never called or contacted again. These people never even returned my house keys. Last but not least the basement nightmare. The job is disgusting. Its at best 50% done. the wall are not completely done, the electrical still needs work same as the plumbing. The ceiling, floor and a good portion of the drywall along with the bathroom, and laundry room still to be done. Some of the drywall is cracking and we are even investigating about a support beam that was removed that an inspector believed is causing structural damage to the house. This company is a scam and is out there collecting money and ruining the lives of homeowners like us. I had an inspection of the house done which they currently have  a copy of. We are  absolutely not allowing this unprofessional, rude scammers in our house any more. These people have been over pay and we demand they pay for the job to be finished and any damages they have caused. I can if necessary provide a copy of the report made by a highly respectable inspector.
