Dynamic Advanced Solutions Reviews (4)

Review: I answered an ad offering meter-reading training on [redacted]. I was called in for an interview with [redacted] from Dynamic Advanced Solutions. She told me I would attend a 4 hr class at the end of which I would take a 4/6 part exam. I was required to pass each part before I could go on to the next. Upon passing the exam, by the following Tuesday or Wednesday, I would be going out in the field with a trainer for 2 weeks doing meter-reading at a starting salary of approx. $16/hr. I was told all of this would cost $395, that it was non-refundable because it included a background check, and although they couldn't guarantee me a job by law, I would be guaranteed job placement after my meter-reading certification. Also, if I was not satisfied where I was placed, because of this fee payment, they would be responsible for placing me somewhere else. I paid my money and attended the class about 10 days later (the first class was cancelled). The class had about 15 people in it and within the first half an hour, we all got the uneasy feeling that this was a scam. The teacher, who worked for [redacted], upon being told that it was supposed to be a 4 hr class, said "what I have to teach can be taught in less than an hour'. He had no knowledge of administering an exam. He said [redacted] gives its own exam before hiring. After a litany of protestations by the class, we were told to call "[redacted]" afterwards and express our concerns. I have since called [redacted] and [redacted] numerous times. The first time, I was told by [redacted] to go to [redacted] and [redacted] websites and submit our updated resumes for meter reading positions. When I went to these websites, there were no MR positions listed. At this point, a few of us from the class joined together and decided to ask for a refund. We have now been given the run around for a week. As of 4/**/14, [redacted] offered me free OSHA Certification training in lieu of a refund. When I asked what that was for, he said I would need it for maintenance. I refused.Desired Settlement: A refund of my $395.

Review: DYNAMIC ADVANCED SOLUTIONS, LLC told me I was hired, shook my hand and welcomed me aboard. I was told that in order to work for their company I needed my OSHA license and that for $475 I would get the license. It was a Wednesday, May [redacted] and I was told to come in that Friday the [redacted] for my certification in order to begin work on Tuesday. As I read over the agreement that [redacted] had me sign, I noticed the fine print that stated, that employment was not guaranteed. I questioned [redacted] ( Interviewer) about the fine print, he assured me that I was hired and that the fine print was just standard in the agreement for those that needed their OSHA certification and not to worry about that because I was indeed hired and that only a positive drug test would disqualify me from the position. I paid the fee and took the class but never received the license. I was told to come in to pick up my card and begin work that Tuesday. When I arrived to the office I was told that the person in charge of delivering the licenses got sick and went home with the licenses and then I was given an address and told that I should go there for a job fair and that [redacted] was also hiring........As I left the office, extremely upset and frustrated I noticed other people storming out threatening to call the police and another young lady causing a major disturbance and yelling about being scammed and saying that she had been coming to the office for 3 weeks for the license and was given a new excuse every time. I came to the conclusion that, yes, this is in fact a huge scam that preys on people that are desperately seeking employment. It is very disgusting to know that they have snatched the little monies I had gathered up and sacrificed with the intent to better my life.......It is very sick and twisted.....to think most people actually borrowed money thinking this to be an investment that would pay off.

I attempted on several occasions via telephone to ask about the "so called Job" I was supposed to begin as well as the status of the "so called OSHA license".

I have spoken to these individuals, nothing but excuses have been the outcome. The final exchange was with a lady and she gave me the fast talk manipulation drill. When she realized that I was dead set on my money, she gave me the nastiest attitude and told me that she has nothing to do with that and hung up on me.Desired Settlement: That money is returned to consumer due to false advertising and fraud.

Review: I was contacted by phone by the emploment agency . At the time I was informered that there was an charge of $125 dollars for the OSHA class I would need for the position. I set up an interview when I spoke to the interviewer he stated that the $125 was a registration fee. The cost for the class would be $425 dollars. I informed him that I already had a OSHA card an I didn't have that kind of money. He took the $125 and said he would give me a break and just charge me $100 dollars for the class and give me a card for OSHA construction my card was for general industry. So I signed the contract which I have a copy of . The class was the next day and it was standing room only. I asked around an people where paying all that money for something I had gotten for free. After the class (which was only 4 hours of a 10 hour class) I was told to report back there on tuesday at 6:30. On tuesday I met a worker in the bldg who told me that people weren't getting jobs just their money taken. He personally witnessed people demanding there money back threatening to go to the policethey got there money back. While talking to the bldg employee I noticed a person who was in the OSHA class on Saturday coming torward me. He had a piece of paper in his hand and I asked him if they had got him a job. He replyed yes and showed me the piece of paper . It had an address on it for a factory and a phone number. He said they told him to call the number and see if they had any openings. Any openings the man had spent over $500 dollars and they didn't even get him a jo. So I was supposed to give them the $100 dollars I owed them and they were supposed to get me a job but I never went upstairs.Desired Settlement: Refund my $125 dollars since they cannot collect a registration fee and shut them down. They are fooling a lot of disperate people and taking there money.

Review: on March **, 2014, I went to an interview at Dynamic Advanced Solutions. The representative who I had the meeting with, known as [redacted], told me that there were plenty of jobs in housekeeping and commercial cleaning, and that he could place me as soon as the following Tuesday. This I assume, was part of their job assistance they offered as part of a contract. I did miss the placement Tuesday, but even up until now, have been unable to find placement or receive any employment assistance from anyone. I have called often, twice a week to speak to anyone and all I am told is that someone will be in contact with me. I paid $425.00 for an OSHA training certificate and job placement assistance. I'm worried that I may have been defrauded.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund of my money. The contract states that no refunds of any kind would be granted after 72 hours. However it also states that assistance with job placement would be available and I find it to be untrue.
