Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint Revdex.com:I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. In regards to the time frame that Tim is suggesting took place: Tim claims it had been a week when, in fact, it had been one business dayI attempted to contact him on Saturday, 12/2/14 and did not receive a response because Dynamic Autoworks is closed on the weekends, as it states on his brochure which I have included as an attachmentI picked my car up late Friday evening and did not get home until hours at which time I discovered the situation under my own lightingI called him as soon as they opened at hours, Monday morning, 12/4/He insisted he was too busy to look at it on Monday and said I could come in anytime Tuesday 12/5/I arrived at hours on 12/5/and left at after Tim failed to remove the base coat contaminates for the second timeThat was two attempts at dealing with the issueI discussed getting my money back after the service managers at *** *** *** easily removed the contaminates in less than ten minutes in the same spot that Tim worked on for minutes. In regards to Tim's suggestion that the contaminates appeared after he worked on my car: Paint contaminates do not just appear overnight onto the base-coat of the paint and were definitely underneath the sealant that Tim used as his final detailing agent in place of waxI know this because when Tim tried to remove them he even said they were stuck to the base coat (underneath the sealant) and they had to be removed using clay bar because they were sealed over and Tim could not remove them with his polishing wheel. The service Director at *** *** *** in Houston, TX, *** ***, will attest to the base coat contaminates being present and underneath the sealant and polishing job that Tim at Dynamic Autoworks Performed on my carI have included the work statement from *** *** *** with his card and contact info as an attachmentTheir detailer easily took care of the contaminates that Tim ignored when he performed his detail and polished and sealed overIn the service directors own words “Fallout all over car” 12/13/which he signed and stapled his card toIf Tim has any question what fallout contaminates are I suggest he give Mr*** a call and ask himTim ignoring these contaminates and polishing and sealing them into the paint of my car is bad detailing and harmful to my car’s paintjob. "Sometimes when the paint is atomized (sprayed) on a car, the finish in spots can have small particles of black in the base coat." - Tim from Dynamic AutoworksThis is a quote from his response to the initial Revdex.com complaint, to the Revdex.comHe even states that the contaminates are on the base coatThey should have been removed by clay bar during his detail as it even states on his brochureThey are supposed to remove these contaminates before polishing and sealing, it is outlined in their brochureI have included this as attachment so there is no question of this anymoreThey were supposed to be removed that is what I paid him to do.In conclusion: There is no possible way they appeared through the sealant Tim put on my car overnightThey were discussed and identified before the detail even took placeThey were supposed to be removedThey were not removedI gave Dynamic Autoworks a second shot at itThey failed to use proper techniques and made up excuses that sound like liesThis was confirmed when I got an opinion from a reputable new-car dealership*** *** *** in Houston, TX easily removed the paint contaminates using clay bar. I would like my money back for the detail that I paid Dynamic Autoworks to perform on my car because he did not perform all the steps that are outlined in his brochure for the package that I paid forHe either used incorrect techniques or did not do it at allI brought the car back and respectfully discussed the issue to which he made up excuses and sent me to the dealershipIt was only after this dishonest behavior and second chance that I asked him for my money back. This is my final attempt at resolving the issue outside of small claims courtI have irrefutable evidence that Tim at Dynamic Autoworks did not perform the job I paid him to doThe service managers at *** *** *** in Houston, TX are tracking what is going on and are happy to help me get this resolved should we go that route.

Sent: Monday, December 11, 2017 4:45 PMSubject: RE: Houston Revdex.com Complaint #[redacted]     The customer accepted delivery of the car on Friday evening (12/1/17) and was extremely happy with the results when he left our shop, stating that it "looked awesome" and "better than when he got the...

car from the dealer."   He accepted delivery after inspecting the car(which was delivered inside under bright LED lights), paid the bill and signed the invoice. The contaminants he had referred to when he brought it to us were in fact removed by our clay bar decontamination process and we took it one step further and machine polished the entire car to ensure the highest level of gloss and finish.  Bottom line:  when he left our shop that evening, he was happy and satisfied with the results we had achieved for him.   I am not sure what happened after he left our shop, but clearly new contaminants must have settled onto his car.  He reached out to us the following week stating that the imperfections were still there.  I responded with surprise as I had inspected the finish and it was flawless and he did as well.  That said, I asked him to bring the car back in and we would have a look and would go ahead and correct it again.  He did so and a few spots did come out using compound and a more aggressive buffing pad.  There were others that did not.  We tried several different methods that we use at our shop, but they did not remove the new spots.  We did think that some of them could possibly be small rock chips and/or imperfections in the paint.  The actual paint color does have black as a component.  Sometimes when the paint is atomized (sprayed) on a car, the finish in spots can have small particles of black in the base coat.  All that said, we recommended that he go back to the dealership to gain their perspective, which he did do.  Apparently, they had seen this before and used a special de-greaser that they had which removed the particles in question.  Upon hearing that, I told him that we would be happy to address those areas with the de-greaser at no additional charge.  It was a reasonable solution which he agreed to and he told me that he would call me "in the morning" to schedule a time to bring it in.    He called the following afternoon and immediately started insulting me and our work, using profanity and demanding a refund.  I couldn't even respond to him as he kept yelling over me.  I waited until his rant was over and told him again, that I would be happy to re-do the work and fix those areas with the de-greaser that the dealership provided to him at no charge.  He did not want to do that and kept insisting that I refund his money.  I restated that we completed all work as promised, and agreed to and that he had received the car happily after seeing the results.  I again offered to correct those issues at no charge to help him out and to go above and beyond as we always try give our customers the benefit of the doubt.  When he declined that offer and wanted the refund I in turn denied that request.  I feel that I have done everything that I could do to satisfy him.  Unfortunately, I am not willing to refund a full days work on his car for no legitimate reason when he left the shop completely satisfied with our work.     I hope this clarifies the situation.  Let me know if you need any further information or have any additional questions.  I will be happy to provide you with whatever your might need.   Thank you.
