Review: Dynamic Decks of Spokane extended an existing deck at our property at Deer Lake in June 2015. Within 1 month of the supposed completion, we noticed a 10'x10' section of the deck was not completely secured at all points necessary. Additionally, a board next to the hot tub is extremely not level, causing a possible safety issue. [redacted] (owner) was notified in late July, of the issues requiring attention and/or repair required. He did not respond until well into September. The AZEK factory representative was also contacted about the issues. BOTH [redacted] and the AZEK representative came to the property and inspected the deck. The end result was that the problem(s) were NOT due to the material (AZEK decking), but was, in fact, a structural issue. [redacted] agreed to come back and fix the problem. He has not been willing to correct/fix the problem. [redacted] informed us, that he was 'too busy' to come out and that we were 'DEFINITELY NOT' any kind of priority to him. When asked for some kind of reasonable timeline as to when the repair would be made, [redacted] stated that he was NOT going to give us ANY kind time frame and that we could do 'whatever we have to', to get the repairs done. We contacted both, the AZEK representative AND AZEK, itself, to get some kind of resolution for this problem. TODAY, we received a text message from [redacted]. stating that he thought it was inappropriate for us to contact AZEK, in any way and that the job was completed/inspected and that, in his opinion, there is NOTHING wrong with the deck or his work and that we are just complaining about 'cosmetic' issues. We responded back that, this is definitely NOT just a 'cosmetic' issue and that after receiving over $34,000.00 to build this deck, he has a responsibility to stand behind his work when there is a problem - NOT just take our money and run !!!Desired Settlement: At this point, due to Mr. [redacted]'s arrogant attitude, we feel that the best solution to this problem will be to have the work completed by a different contractor and then pursue legal resolution by court order against Dynamic Decks AND [redacted], owner.
