Dynamic Dental Partners Reviews (3)

Review: I went to Dr. [redacted] and told her about what I found out, she was unhappy with that. I explained this to the manager, and she promised me a full refund, however they still not wish to refund me money. I spent $745.00 for the root canal and they also charged me another $145.00 for pulling same tooth.

They still not going to refund me money and they are still asking for $145. If I'm not going to pay this money. They will mess up my credit score.I cannot trust this clinic anymore.Desired Settlement: I think they should at least to refund $ 745 root canal money, that I spend for her to give me the wrong treatment .

Review: I had a broken tooth and requested an appt with Dr. [redacted]. I was never told that Dr. [redacted] had left and that I'd be seeing another dentist. I saw the replacement Dr. [redacted] (sp), who attempted to repair my tooth with a crown. I was told by the office manager at the time that my insurance would pay 1/2 of the crown. She had my card and said she ran it. Based on her assurances I opted to have crown and not have tooth pulled. Dr. [redacted] fitted my crown but it did not fit when it finally came in a month later. On next visit I was never told that Dr. [redacted] had left and that I would be seen by the PEDIATRIC dentist! He put the crown on but it has never felt right. The whole process took 3 months and it still hurts, but I refuse to go back due to their ineptness. Then they started calling me for an additional $683.00 because my insurance didn't pay like the office manager promised. I did finally pay the money due to threats of collection agency, but still don't have a crown that feels good and am out the $683 on top of the $650 copay. The office is poorly run and doesn't have appropriate dentists to care for their patients.Desired Settlement: I believe I should get the $683.00 refunded as they did not provide the service in an appropriate manner and apparently both dentists who worked on me were not capable of fitting the crown in the correct manner. They also withheld information from me so that I could find another dentist if I had known Dr. [redacted] was gone. They also made fitting mistakes and lab mistakes in making the crown.

Response:

After reviewing the patient’s chart/records, we maintain our position that the patient did have the services performed, therefore the fees are due us. Her claim that she was told her insurance would cover cannot be confirmed, neither are they documentation. Due to the nature of our insurance contracts, we cannot provide discounts to patients carrying insurances. Please let me know if I can be of further assistance. Thanks much.

Response:

I have reviewed the response offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

The fact that they can't confirm or document the conversation that I did have with the office manager at the time doesn't fix the problem of poor patient/community relations and of misleading me. I paid the bill due to wish to avoid collection agency and ruin of my credit rating, but I want it on record that this particular dental practice has questionable practices and misleads its patients.

Regards,

Review: Dear Revdex.com Representative:I had a tooth removed on the upper back left hand s¡de ¡n 2012. On October 30,2012, I d¡scussed with Dr. [redacted] and the office manager [redacted] the different types of bridges. [redacted] gave me three quotes of three different kinds of bridges. I took the prices that she gave me to determ¡ne what best suited me and what I could afford. [redacted] told me that my ¡nsurance would not pay for the replacement. I told her that [redacted] would.I called [redacted] with the code [redacted] gave me. [redacted] assured me that a payment would be made. I called [redacted] and told her that I called [redacted] and that they would pay. Again, [redacted] claimed that they would not pay. I called [redacted] aga¡n. And again [redacted] assured me that they would pay. Know¡ng that [redacted] would pay, I went to the office and paid the 507" requirement for a Maryland Bridge at $1355.00. Since credit payments are not disclosed I did not know that I had a credit of $70.00 from a previous payment. That $70.00 was not taken off the 50% payment needed to get the Maryland Bridge.ln July I received a bill from the dental office stating that I had a balance of $510.50. I then received the summary statement from [redacted]. I called the dental office and left a voice message on the voicemail for [redacted] to call me. After a few days w¡thout hearing anything I sent a fax to the office requesting the difference. lt wasn't until I called again for [redacted] that we discussed the account. At that time I realize that the $510.50 was amount due not a credit balance. I than noticed that the price of the Maryland Bridge increased. lnstead of cost¡ng $1355.00 as originally quoted to me, it was changed to $2,466.00. [redacted] paid $1,208.00. I called [redacted]. Then [redacted] and [redacted] talked. Afterwards, [redacted] informed me that she used the wrong code. She said the [redacted] gave her that code and that [redacted] set the price for her to charge. I expla¡ned to her that that was not my fault and that she could not just change the price without my knowledge. [redacted] told me that I owed $510.50 and that I was go¡ng to pay it anyway.I called [redacted] and told them what had happened. They ask that I email my documentation. I did as they ask. At that t¡me [redacted] representations told me that they would do an investigation. On September 20, 2013, I received a letter from [redacted]. lt stated that the dental office had not sent in the dental records as they requested and ask me to get the records. I called [redacted] to conf¡rm the letter.I then called the dental office and left a voice message to send the records. Later that day I send a fax requesting the records, As of Friday, October 4, 2013 [redacted] has not received the records nor have they heard from anyone from the dental office.I have contacted the Bureau of lnsurance and Virginia Department of Health Professions.[redacted]Desired Settlement: Dental records sent to [redacted] as requested and a refund.
