Once in the survey, its functionality is independent of the intercept implementation, but if code for the invitation is implemented incorrectly on the website/page or is having problems due to a specific web browser version, it is possible that the "close window" option would not function properly while the survey would Thus, what you are describing is not the intended functionality There may be something wrong with how the website implemented the coding or a browser-related issueWe would like to try and troubleshoot further and see if we can replicate the issueAs we have thousands of websites running our technology, we will need to know exactly where the invitation spawned Please provide: the website, section / page of the website so we can attempt to find and have it appear Also please confirm if the user was on a desktop/laptop computer, smartphone or tablet Finally, please provide the information for the browser type and version used (IE, FF, Chrome, Safari), which will be instrumental in replicating/troubleshooting as well

This group had a pop up in my email It was misleading I tried to NO THANKS and close it, but it wouldn't disappear It would ONLY allow you to continue, which is objectionable, and I think a lawsuit should be brought against them for forcible spam

The InsightExpress’ propriety panel, [redacted] , does not have anyone associated with the [redacted] email address in its... database. InsightExpress does not do business under the [redacted] name. If the complainant can provide additional details on the survey topic and/or compensation they believe they are due, we can do additional research to see if a different company is also providing respondents to a survey on our platform via their panel. Thank you!

Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because: It would work to click on the lines to answer the survey but it would not work to allow me to click on the line to close it
Sincerely,
*** ***

I didn't fit their survey criteria perfectly but I still got paidThat's better than other survey giversSometimes I'll get to the end of survey, having given all the information requested and it'll disqualify me

Their advertising attaches to anything that you are viewing and will not let you close it, you can only take their survey. I would NEVER use any of their services because of their predatory nature. BUYER BEWARE

I took a survey answering how old I was and I wanted to tell them that I'm 17 but 17 was not included in the options available. There was an option for less than 17 and then one for 18-20. 17 is not a valid response in this survey and I'M PISSED THE [redacted] OFF LIKE WHAT THE HELL WHY CAN'T I BE 17 [redacted] YOU.

website, there is the possibility that the website has NOT implemented the survey technology properly and that is causing the multiple invite issue.

To elaborate, if code for the invitation is implemented incorrectly on the website/page or is having problems due to a specific web browser version, it is possible that the "close window" or "No Thanks" options, which both should close out the invitation, would not function properly.  Thus, what you are describing is not the intended functionality. There may be something wrong with how the website implemented the coding or a browser-related issue. We would like to try to troubleshoot further and see if we can replicate the issue. We will need to know *exactly* where the invitation spawned. Please provide:
1. exact section / page of the website so we can attempt to find and have it appear.
2. Also please confirm if the user was on a desktop/laptop computer, smartphone or tablet.
3. Finally, please provide the information for the browser type and version used ([redacted]), which will be
instrumental in replicating/troubleshooting as well.

Some additional general information about online survey invitations that may be helpful:

Sometimes the routine maintenance of clearing out old cache & cookies on a browser and restarting refresh takes care of a lot of the problems people run into while browsing around the web. This simple solution may very well take care of any issues this visitor might be having. Sometimes, something could be wrong with the visitor's browser saving its “cookies”. Most of the time making sure they have ENABLED cookies then deleting cookies and temporary internet files will clear up the issues. They may receive another invite, but the visitor can just decline it and that should be it.

Whether they accept or decline or they let the invitation disappear on it's own, the visitor is no longer considered a new visitor and a browser "cookie" is created / updated to make note of that. If the visitor's browser settings have been adjusted in such a way that it interferes with the "cookie" process, then the invitation may not work properly and/or visitor may not be properly noted as having been offered an invitation.

If the visitor does not want to see ANY invites at all, then clicking on our "Opt Out" link found on our FAQs page (link below) will prevent future survey invites from being offered. Clicking the link will create a “cookie” that the survey technology knows to check for it first and if found, it knows NOT to show any invites.

Nice survey to use, they do what they promise. I would recommend to others.

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:  The business is just forwarding the...

complaint within their organization. Your instructions are unclear.  For instance if I don't respond, the complaint will be closed in 7 days, however, if I accept the response, won't that close the complaint also, since it would suggest the response was already acceptable?  I think the business response was reasonable if it gets followed  up on, but I am rejecting the response in order to make sure the complaint currently stays open.
Sincerely,
[redacted]
