To Whom It May Concern,On May 11th, following a free introductory class, Ms*** *** signed a six (6) month agreement to become a member at our school This membership enabled her to take regular classes per week and up to sparring classes per week for a total of classes per week
At the time of enrollment, she was unable to make full payments at our regular tuition rate, therefore we granted her a discount of $per month (or $over the month period) Her total agreement value was $ She made a $down payment, leaving her a balance of $due over months After attending several classes and making of the payments, she notified us of an injury It is our policy that, in order to make any changes to an account due to a medical reason, students must provide a doctor's note Because Ms*** had not yet visited a doctor and wasn't sure what the outcome would be, we went ahead and offered her another favor and put her account on hold for a period of months, without a doctor's note She was advised at this time that in order to cancel the agreement, we would require a doctor's note We did not hear from Ms*** again, although she did continue to receive email correspondence from us throughout this time period.In early December of (after her October and November payment drafted from her account), she visited us and notified me that she was having medical problems with her knee I reminded her about our policy of needing a doctor's note in order to cancel the remainder of her agreement I reminded her that she would have needed to contact us in order for the draft payments not to resume after months I also advised her that we do not offer refunds for the October and November payments, but that we would offer her credit for her missed classes once she had healed from her injury On December 17th, she provided us with a doctor's note excusing her medically and we cancelled the contract immediately; therefore her final payment was never made and is not due.The total amount of the agreement was $ The amount paid was $ The total value that was utilized (May - August) was $ The total amount charged that was not utilized was $ The total amount cancelled was $ Ms*** was notified upon delivery of her doctor's note that she does have months worth of credit at our school We are very articulate about our policies and work to ensure a great customer/student experience at Dynamic Taekwondo Academy We have been servicing the Albuquerque community for nearly years and have never received a complaint We are an upstanding business with an impeccable reputation in our community We will continue to honor our word and continue to practice business with the highest standards Please let us know if we can provide any documentation to substantiate this complaint response, as we keep excellent records Thank you.Best Regards,Kerry E***Dynamic Taekwondo & Hapkido AcademyEubank Blvd., NE Suite B69Albuquerque, NM 87111###-###-####***
