I ordered a part through [redacted] from a company called [redacted] on Sunday, April 26. The ad stated it would be fast n free so I should have received the fuel pump by Wednesday, April 29. I had to ask the seller for a tracking number and I received that. I kept entering the number on the [redacted] website and it never updated. The seller assured me that the item had shipped on Monday, April 27. Finally, Wednesday, April 29 the information updated and it stated that the package had just been dropped off at the post office, which means the fast n free ad was a lie. The seller informed me that because [redacted] put that in their ad, they didn't have to abide by it so they didn't. I didn't receive the fuel pump until Saturday, May 2, which meant the car sat at the shop for longer than necessary because the seller makes fraudulent claims and then lies to the seller about everything. When I received the part, it was missing a piece off the top, which according to their picture of the item, the part should have been there. [redacted] didn't protect me in any way, shape, or form. Also, when the fuel pump arrived on Saturday, May 2, I had to pay an additional fee of $8.47 to the post office because the company didn't put enough postage on the package. Basically, this purchase was neither fast nor free. [redacted] is supposed to have a buyer protection plan, but it didn't protect me in the least bit. I have all of the correspondence with this seller located with my [redacted] account so I can provide the original details with the fast n free part and all the correspondence with the seller stating the lies I was told about when the item shipped. Also, the item was supposed to be located in Sparks, Nevada and the item I was sent came from Florida so that part about the ad was a lie too. [redacted] should be held accountable for not abiding by their buyer protection plan, either. Final Consumer Response I was refunded by [redacted] on May 14 so that is no longer an issue, but this company still had false advertising throughout their [redacted] ad so that still needs to be addressed. They did not abide by anything in their ad, which is false advertising.
