07-11-2016Dear [redacted] ,We have received your letter regarding the above complaint.The followings are our findings to address the concerns:We are placing the scale on top of the counter or a place where the customer can easily see the scaleAttached please find a copy of the scale license The License and Inspection Department of City of Philadelphia has been monitoring the scale accuracy on a regular basisWe believe that the charge is accurateThe scale we have does not have the function of producing an itemized receiptWe charge $4.99/1b for non-seafood, 6.49/lb for mixed food (seafood and non-seafood), and 7.99/lb for seafoodAfter we sorted out the takeout boxes, weight the food on the scale based upon the price factors and copied down the price individually on the cash registerSee attached sample receipt.We will do our best to offer the best service.Please feel free to contact us should you have any other questions.Thank youGeneral Manager
