After spending $3,500 to have the transmission in my collector car rebuilt by DynoTec, it was delivered to the installer with a torn rear seal. The installer was The St. Paul Shop. Before I took delivery and completed payment, they put it on the hoist to show me the work. There was a small amount of transmission fluid on the shaft entering into the transmission. I was told that this may have been some that leaked out when the install was done. They also told me that if I have any issues, the transmission was covered for both parts and labor.

As it turned out the transmission rear seal was torn and required me to take it to another shop to have repaired. This cost me an additional $220. I completed the warranty documentation over a month ago now. DynoTec has yet to return one of my phone calls. The St. Paul Shop hasn't been unable to resolve the warranty reimbursement either.

I've managed to reach one of the owners a couple of times...her name is JODY. Each time she has reassured be that she will look into the warranty claim and get back in touch with me. She never has.

As of this post, I am a customer who has become a victim of the terrible workmanship and customer service provided by DynoTec.

As a word of advice...if you're goign to spend thousands of dollars on a car repair, like I did, make sure you know who is actually doing the work and ensure they are credible. I took the word of The St. Paul Shop and didn't find out till latter that DynoTec has experienced significant financial issues.

I left messages with the store owner and the vehicle owner waiting for call backs to get this resolved
