We got your letter, that our former costumer [redacted] is seeking for payment from us DZD TRANSPORTATION LLC is auto carrier company based in NJWe transported ML, suv of above mentioned client [redacted] , the owner and only driver for this company picked up the car in new jersey, before picking up the car, [redacted] did inspection of the car, and left copy to the person who gave the carHOWEVER AS [redacted] RECALLS HE NEVER CHECKED ROOF OF THE CAR, HE IS SHORT GUY AND COULD BE LITTLE BIT DIFFICULT TO DO THE INSPECTION OF ROOF.THE CAR IS OVER FEET,[redacted] delivered the car in to daysDispatcher call costumer and said that driver would deliver car on to pm.the costumer agreedWhen [redacted] was unloading car, the costumer and her husband started to change faces and getting upset, before even car was completely on the groundThe driver unloaded the car and the costumers pointed on the roof, they even didn't check other sides.The driver checked the inspection paper, noticed that roof was not marked and called to dispatcherHe has , he didn't know what happens, he hasn't have checked the roof at allAs we knew, we had to put all damages in inspection paper, because we didn't have any proofs, so the driver said to costumer that they still have to pay, and he will write the damage and sign for them, so later they can submit claim to insurance, however the costumers refuse to pay, dispatcher also explained that even there is damage, you have to pay, and later file claimThey didn't pay so driver could not give th car without payment, he loaded car backAt the same evening, Almost midnight a broker called, he said the driver has to mark, and the costumer will payThe costumer requested insurance from driver, the driver said he didn't have it, but he told them he didn't have copy of itSo little misunderstanding, however the broker had it , even before we picked up carThe driver stopped the truck miles away , at the shopping centerThe second day, the broker spoke with costumer, they agreed that the costumer has to pay to driver, and later to file claimDriver went to them again, took pictures or the roof and entire carThe costumers started to check other parts, they told driver about hood, which had size of needle scratch, which was hard to even noticed, but they made driver to mark this one too on inspection paperThe dispatcher told broker that we need estimate from costumer and we will call to insurance, this is first time we were dealing with this kind of situation and we really didn't know what to doSo after days we got estimate from up to dollars They wanted to change rails, sunroof, roof, even windshieldAt the same day we called progressive insurance , filled claimed, gave the costumers info, and clear said that the driver didn't check roof at all, as he knows nothing happened during transportation,however he do not have proof of this and he marked damages on inspection paper and gave to costumerAfter day called adjuster from progressive [redacted] , and said that she will send someone to check car, and will estimate damagWe don't know for what reason it got delayed but adjuster took Almo days to send someone for to check car, meanwhile we were calling insurance, tried to find out whyFinally adjuster went to see the car checked and said, they will let us know about their decisionMeanwhile the costumer were adding more Money on the bill, rental car expanses, and some other charges, and saying they will file lawsuit against Driver, dispatcher, companyAfter or day the costumer got letter from progressive and we tooBut [redacted] called us and explained that the inspector from progressive concluded that the damage was old and even was painted, so it could not be happened in a day, because it looked as a previous damage, and they will not pay for that, only hood had extremely tiny scratch , they said it will cost dollars and please send them this amount , because we have deductibleWe could not do anything, this is insurance decision After that the costumer started to email us letter about suing us, calling IRS, DMV, even mentioned another company, they said we have huge cash flow and we don't pay incometax, and more and more, they raised payment up to dollarsWhat we did was that we sent Dollar money order, [redacted] said , if they will sui you, we will provide decision letter and explanation why it was not paidAfter that the costumer said [redacted] spray something after they refused to receive and bring another day painted car .BUT THIS IS WE KNOW 100% IS NOT TRUE, WE HAVE PICTURES AND IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO PAINT OVERNIGHT WHEN EVERYONE KNOWS THAT THERE WAS DAMAGED ON THE CAR, PLUS THEY SAW IT BEFORE AND AFTER , THEY FOUND NEEDLE SIZE OF SCRATCH AND WILL NOT NOTICED THAT CAR WAS PAINTED, NOT TRUEWE CALLED MECHANIC , THEY SAID.IF YOU DO THAT CAR WORLD HAVE HEAVY PAINT SMELL AND YOU WON'T MISS ITfrom our side we tried to help not to escalate situationWe called, emailed, answered on time, did everything on time from our sideBut WE CAN'T PAY DOLLAR FOR THE DAMAGE WHICH WAS NOT CAUSED BY USI WILL ATTACH THE LETTER FROM INSURANCE, PICTURE OF CARIn case you need more Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response be**use: I have never seen so many lies in a statement - pretty much the only truthful part is the name of the company and the driver! Here is the fact based response to their major points:It is not true that the driver has not inspected the rooftop of the vehicle - he has taken a long time to inspect almost every inch of the vehicle, and saw and marked several scratches that are so small you **nnot see them unless under the right angel and light (I have the photos and the document)He even marked some areas that have no scratches whatsoever - I guess from his experience damaging other **rs he wanted to protect himselfIt is impossible to claim that there were several marked scratches that are tiny and miniscule, but more than $6,dollars of damages were just missed and not notedThere was no damage to the rooftop before the **r was picked up - that is the only reason why it is not marked on the pick up document - it was not marked only be**use it was NOT THERE! It is absolutely not true that it is not visible if he is short (which he is not btw) - it is visible even by a child height since it is at the front part of the rooftop next to the front windshield, and also one roof-rail was broken and the other bent so they are also visible from any angle/height The "needle sized" scratch (I quote their letter) is actually more than a foot long (inches to be exact, on the front hood) - not sure if any and reasonable person has seen a foot-long 'needle'! Please see the attached photo as proofIt is a lie that the insurance company ( [redacted] ) and [redacted] inspected the **r after days - it was more than days (which is also against the regulations in **) and only after constant and repeated follow ups on our side with absolutely no help from DZDThe fact that the insurance company [redacted] ) afterwards refused to pay a valid claim is nothing new under the sun - please see their rating as one of the worst insurance companies in the USA on www.consumeraffairs.com and many other places with thousands of similar complaintsThey claim that the vehicle was delivered in 4-days - not true - it was delivered in days (proven by the pick up and delivery document dates) so they had plenty of time to try to conceal the damagesThat is why they tried every trick in the book - tried to deliver in the evening when dark, covered up the damages with dirt, sprayed the area with the same color spray, etcAlso, the driver refused to mark the delivery document with the damages and that is why I did not take delivery the first time - I feel bad for the many other potential victims that were bullied and agreed to take delivery without marking it on the document since they are without recourse afterwards! The driver also admitted that he did the damage and offered $to settle on the spot the second time (after they saw that I will not pay them unless the damages are marked) but of course I did not agree because I am a big *** fan and knew that repairing his damages will be much more expensiveAfterwards they lied that they will pay for repairing the damages after I give them estimates - please note that those estimates were from reputable independent local repair shops and all came within a similar range (without me even being there while they were estimating) - these estimates were not made by me as implied in their letter - and they included only the damages the DZD has doneI have also agreed to use the lowest price repair shop as well in order to be fair, and also used the lowest rental car estimate available (only for the days the vehicle will be in the repair shop due to their damages).There are many other untrue claims in the DZD Transportation, LLC response as well but it is just not worth dealing with such an unethical, incompetent and dangerous transportation companyThis has been a nightmare experience and hope that there are no more victims to their bad practices - buyer beware! [redacted], the owner and only driver for this company picked up the car in new jersey, before picking up the car, [redacted] did inspection of the car, and left copy to the person who gave the car. After 4 day called adjuster from progressive [redacted], and said that she will send someone to check car, and will estimate damag. We don't know for what reason it got delayed but adjuster took Almo 10 days to send someone for to check car, meanwhile we were calling insurance, tried to find out why. Finally adjuster went to see the car checked and said, they will let us know about their decision. Meanwhile the costumer were adding more Money on the bill, rental car expanses, and some other charges, and saying they will file lawsuit against Driver, dispatcher, company. After 3 or 4 day the costumer got letter from progressive and we too. What we did was that we sent 38 Dollar money order, [redacted] said , if they will sui you, we will provide decision letter and explanation why it was not paid. It is a lie that the insurance company ([redacted]) and [redacted] inspected the **r after 10 days - it was more than 25 days (which is also against the regulations in **) and only after constant and repeated follow ups on our side with absolutely no help from DZD. The fact that the insurance company [redacted]) afterwards refused to pay a valid claim is nothing new under the sun - please see their rating as one of the worst insurance companies in the USA on www.consumeraffairs.com and many other places with thousands of similar complaints...5.
