I purchased a BMW from E and A MotorsI drove it off the lot and had to have the rear brake pads replaced to the tune of $and had oil leaking from underneath the car which turned out to be from the head gaskets which was another $1300+Buyers bewareI won't ever purchase from them again and will warn everyone I know of the sameIf you do plan to purchase anything from them I would have the vehicle taken to a mechanic to have it checked before you purchaseI will be in for close to $in repairs and the car has not even been driven since it was purchased

I was sold a vehicle with a fraudulently concealed low oil pressure problem, and had to ultimately replace the engine myself (paid a mechanic) shortly after my purchase I was able to contact a previous owner who confirmed that she got rid of the vehicle at the time with known low oil pressure being one of the reasons for getting rid of it That is, this oil pressure problem isn't something that happened after I purchased it, but preexisted my purchase, but was concealed/hidden by someone tampering with the oil pressure needle, to give reading I had an instrument cluster repair shop check out the gauges (because I knew the speedometer needed fixed anyways) and that instrument cluster repair shop confirmed that the oil pressure needle had a manipulated needle position, giving a impression of oil pressure This along with full diagnostics confirming the problem from my mechanic, I had to eventually replace the engine to resolve the problem $3,total bill for a factory rebuilt engine, plus labor I went to E&A with this information, and E&A's position is they don't stand by any of the vehicles they sell regardless of circumstances of severe engine problems proven to have preexisted the sale And, even though we can't say for sure who was fraudulent with the car before my acquiring it, the fact I had proof of tampering and fraud was not able to sway them into doing anything about it They never made any offer any kind of means of making anything right, but were only apologetic, and stood by their policy It's sold AS-IS, and that means, even if they sell you a vehicle that is reported to be in great condition, but actually has a preexisting severe engine problem (low oil pressure), too bad I was also lied to at the dealership When we purchased the car we were told the seat had just been working that day, and were not sure why the driver's seat would move as it had just worked earlier that day I purchase the vehicle knowing that the seat needed repair As it turns out, the seat working earlier that day was an impossible scenario because when my mechanic fixed it, the seat was completely missing a part necessary for it to work I was also told the key fob worked earlier that day, but wasn't working now I was going to get remote start installed, so wasn't a big concernHowever, as it turns out, the key fob didn't even have a battery in it so it was impossible it would have worked prior to my pointing out that it didn't work If you want to gamble with your money, and deal with salesmen who will stand by the technicality of an statement before they stand by the quality and integrity of their work, then this dealership is for you Not being mean This is just, AS-IS

I was sold a vehicle with a fraudulently concealed low oil pressure problem, and had to ultimately replace the engine myself (paid a mechanic) shortly after my purchase. I was able to contact a previous owner who confirmed that she got rid of the vehicle at the time with known low oil pressure being one of the reasons for getting rid of it. That is, this oil pressure problem isn't something that happened after I purchased it, but preexisted my purchase, but was concealed/hidden by someone tampering with the oil pressure needle, to give false reading.

I had an instrument cluster repair shop check out the gauges (because I knew the speedometer needed fixed anyways) and that instrument cluster repair shop confirmed that the oil pressure needle had a manipulated false needle position, giving a false impression of oil pressure.

This along with full diagnostics confirming the problem from my mechanic, I had to eventually replace the engine to resolve the problem. $3,500 total bill for a factory rebuilt engine, plus labor.

I went to E&A with this information, and E&A's position is they don't stand by any of the vehicles they sell regardless of circumstances of severe engine problems proven to have preexisted the sale. And, even though we can't say for sure who was fraudulent with the car before my acquiring it, the fact I had proof of tampering and fraud was not able to sway them into doing anything about it. They never made any offer any kind of means of making anything right, but were only apologetic, and stood by their AS-IS policy. It's sold AS-IS, and that means, even if they sell you a vehicle that is reported to be in great condition, but actually has a preexisting severe engine problem (low oil pressure), too bad.

I was also lied to at the dealership. When we purchased the car we were told the seat had just been working that day, and were not sure why the driver's seat would move as it had just worked earlier that day. I purchase the vehicle knowing that the seat needed repair. As it turns out, the seat working earlier that day was an impossible scenario because when my mechanic fixed it, the seat was completely missing a part necessary for it to work. I was also told the key fob worked earlier that day, but wasn't working now. I was going to get remote start installed, so wasn't a big concern. However, as it turns out, the key fob didn't even have a battery in it so it was impossible it would have worked prior to my pointing out that it didn't work.

If you want to gamble with your money, and deal with salesmen who will stand by the technicality of an as-is statement before they stand by the quality and integrity of their work, then this dealership is for you. Not being mean. This is just, AS-IS.

I purchased a BMW from E and A Motors. I drove it off the lot and had to have the rear brake pads replaced to the tune of $250 and had oil leaking from underneath the car which turned out to be from the head gaskets which was another $1300+. Buyers beware. I won't ever purchase from them again and will warn everyone I know of the same. If you do plan to purchase anything from them I would have the vehicle taken to a mechanic to have it checked before you purchase. I will be in for close to $2000 in repairs and the car has not even been driven since it was purchased.
