E-Commerce Advertising Team Reviews (12)

Review: I purchased a Web site Aug 31, 2014. It was provided promptly. I called to schedule training and got no return of my phone calles. Around Oct 10, 2014 I talked to a lady named [redacted]. She set up a time on Oct 13 at 11:00am my time, 9:00am her time to have her help me set up my profile. Monday the 13th came an no call from [redacted]. I have since called at least 30 times and left messages to be called back. The answereing machine says "your calls will be returned in the order that they are received". I have been calling and leaving messages since Sept of 2014.Desired Settlement: I would like to be refunded my $319.00. I have a product that I can't use.

Review: I was contacted by this company to become an [redacted] Associate. They said they would build a website for me and have a mentor show me how to drive traffic to it and be able to do business with [redacted] as an Associate. They showed me a site that looked like Revdex.com showing they had an A+ rating. I've since gone to your website and seen a F rating. I trusted what I saw on the screen to be true and decided to do business with them since I was looking to do a business at home. My mentor said I needed a website which would cost me $300. When they said it was ready, he said I needed traffic so he said to get started with that Ineeded to pay $1100.00. Since I paid my money I have not been able to reach him or the office even after leaving several messages. All I want is to get my money back. The website is even bogus. It is [redacted].. I can forrward the email they sent with this information on it and I have copies of the receipts of the money I put on my credit cards if that helps.Desired Settlement: I wanted you to be aware so someone else won't get scammed. Also, how in the world did they get a copy of your certificate saying they had an A+ rating? I would like a refund since I have received nothing for my money.

Review: I was contacted by a salesperson on two occasions in August 2014 representing E-Commerce Advertising Team, for the purpose of creating a website to sell products off the [redacted] website. The initial training package fee of $319.00 was remitted on August 12, 2014. I've been contacted by representatives from the states of [redacted]. An ancillary company, Champion Business Services, out of a [redacted] office, also requested additional marketing fees of both $1,000 (in September 2014) & $1,345 (in early October 2014), for the purpose of my setting up a website to market [redacted] products. I even was contacted by a marketing "coach" who demanded more fees for generating successful sales, through numerous other sites to reach more markets for products exposure. Today (October 27, 2014) I contacted someone at [redacted] Associates Service who mentioned that this is a scam that has been going on for the past 3-6 months. [redacted] does not recognize or associate with, any businesses who advertise or market for [redacted] website(s) setup, via phone or email contact.Desired Settlement: 1. Refund of initial training fees ($319), marketing fees ($1,000), and further website setup fees ($1,345).

2. Investigate & cease E-Commerce Advertising Team's operations.

3. Investigate & cease Champion Business Services operations.

Response:

Hello. This is [redacted], of [redacted]. In reference to the claim above, the following has taken place since 10/27/14:

1. A representative from E-Commerce Advertising Team contacted me from a state of Washington phone to inquire whether I wanted to move forward in training to set up & operate my e-commerce website. I said, "I don't know. I spoke with someone at [redacted], who clearly stated to me, "[redacted] does not work with outside affiliates in its e-commerce operations." He also acknowledged that suspicious activity of other companies purporting themselves as "affiliates" of [redacted] had been reported to them for over at least the past six months. I further stated my hesitancy in going forward, but for some unknown reason, the call on my cell phone dropped.

2. I have received two emails from The [redacted] to complete my franchise fee licensing requirements with them, finally responding today for COPS to place a hold on my application and refund the initial licensing fees to me. That was done by me via email around 10:30 a.m., PDT.

3. Champion Business Services was instrumental in setting up the process of establishing an LLC. I spoke to one of their representatives earlier, stated my concern clearly, and they reassured me that they followed their procedures carefully, and were only following up, to complete their assistance on my LLC, and close the work order. At this point, they are a legitimate concern, and were helpful in my establishing a Limited Liability Corporation in [redacted]. The company, in my opinion, properly performed the services of assisting me in setting up my LLC, and I do not have any further request or claim for action against it.

Thank you.

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me. I will wait until for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved.

Regards,

Review: The initial call stated make money at home and was stating $1000, $2000, $3000 per month. I repeated asked if there were any additional charges. The response was no. I had a brief follow up call wherein I was advised that these figures COULD be attained with additional monetary investments from me.Desired Settlement: I want my account credited for the $499 that was charged initially, and no further contact from this company.

Review: This company had me wire $1200.00 from my saving account directly to there checking account to pay for website traffic. I purchased a website from them for $319.00 (charge currently being disputed with credit card company). According to them the $1200 was to cover the traffic they were going to send to my website. Website consisted of [redacted] products. When a person would visit my site online and make a purchase I would get paid affiliate commissions through [redacted]. No sales were coming through so I decided to call [redacted] just to confirm. When I spoke with the [redacted] representative he advised that I had no activity what so ever coming to the [redacted] affiliate page and no sales. Furthermore he advised that the website was an empty domain and it would never rank on the search engines and therefore I would never get an sales no one can find this site online because it has no unique content. This company uses the same website for everyone so google will box it and flag it. So the money I paid for my site $319.00 no good (need refund request from credit card company). And the money I paid for the traffic $1200.00 no good (need to dispute this money that came from my saving account). Help.Desired Settlement: I need a refund for the entire $319.00 back to my credit card. As well as the $1200.00 that came from my savings account. ASAP.

Review: On April 18, 2014, a representative from Ecommerce Advertising Team called me on my cell phone. She said she was with [redacted] then she asked me if I was ready to start making money. I was at the time enrolled with Impact Ki, and they were coaching me to make sells through [redacted] and working on building a website for me. So when I got the call and she told me they would build my web site and get me started making money I said yes. She said the cost would be $319.00, and that within side a month I should start making money. I asked what time span did I have to change my mind and she said 14 days. They charged my credit card twice in the beginning and I was able to contact them and was refunded one of the charges. I've made several attempts later to contact them to see about my website. I have left them several messages to call me back. Since the first of May I have reported them as fraud to my bank. My bank investigated and responded back to me stating that the charges against my account were legit. I asked them to send me the information, and they gave me the phone number they had. I called the number, which was for 360 Marketing, and they had none of my information. I have called [redacted], the Unknown Charges Dept, and they suggested that I report this to the Revdex.com.Desired Settlement: I think the business should at least respond to their messages. I would like for them to contact me so that I can at least see my website that they supposedly built for me.

Review: I was called o Nov 05, 2012 and offered to be set up with an Amazon website with thousands of items listed for sale. The site would be ready to promote and market along with an Expedia link for vacations and Google pay per click link. I was then suppose to be called back on Wednesday night, Nov 08, 2012 to discuss how to market and advertise this website. I never received that phone call. I have tried to contact this company and left messages at both numbers I have; customer service (602) 870-7623 and the number the man, he called himself Dave Roberts, I talked to on the phone on the 5th gave me for any questions I may have. I also have the number that shows on my bank account (888) 699-2784. This company is a scam as far as I am concerned. They promise all this and then do not answer their phone nor call you back. They are do deliver the product as stated, you can't contact them for help, refund or answers.Desired Settlement: $170.00 they deducted from my account for services I did not receive.

The business is still active. Call [redacted] at [redacted].

Review: A few days before black Friday, I established an agreement with [redacted] ([redacted]). Originally, I paid several hundred dollars to set up an [redacted] affiliate site. I was told they would take care of everything. I was not told that I would not have access to the c-panel to make changes to the site once it was up ([redacted]). I wanted everything to be in place by Black Friday and was assured by [redacted] that I would start making money right away. He had asked what my goals would be and I said I would be happy if it could bring in $1000 a month. He thought I was thinking on the low side and that investing in advertising up front at this time of year the sales from the site would make the payments to pay off the debt. I then paid $10,000 on my credit card . The site was not up and running by Black Friday and in fact I did not earn anything until approximately that Tues or Weds. To date I have earned a total of $8. On Dec. 27th The law offices of [redacted] sent the following letter on my behalf, however, they never responded, but discontinued ad posts from what I can tell.

Our offices have recently been contacted by Ms. [redacted] in relation to retaining Ecommerce Advertising Team (hereinafter, “Ecommerce”) and [redacted] (hereinafter, “[redacted]”) to setup a domain and provide hosting service, and for advertising services for her [redacted] affiliate site, respectively. Ms. [redacted] has consulted with our office regarding the failure by both Ecommerce and [redacted] to have the site up and running, and provide advertising services as promised.

According to Ms. [redacted], she purchased from Ecommerce a 1 year hosting and domain service, and from [redacted] advertising services that included US targeted visitor marketing for 12 months, social media advertisement through [redacted], [redacted], and [redacted], and search engine submission. Her plans were to have her [redacted] affiliate site and the advertising in place by Black Friday which your respective company assured her. Further, she was assured by your representative, Mr. [redacted], that she would start making money right away. When asked by Mr. [redacted] what her goals were, she stated she would be happy to bring in $1,000.00 a month. Mr. [redacted] informed her that investing in advertising up front with [redacted] would exceed her goal and payoff the debt. In reliance on this representation, Ms. [redacted] paid the $10,000.00 fee for the [redacted] advertisement package described above.

Unfortunately, none of the representations and assurances by Ecommerce or [redacted] was realized. The [redacted] affiliate site was not up and running by Black Friday, and she did not earn anything until Tuesday or Wednesday after Black Friday. In fact, she has only earned to date $7.05 which is clearly not what was represented or assured.

As you are aware, failure to comply with the terms of an agreement constitutes a breach of contract, wherein, the breaching party can be liable for all damages suffered as a result of said breach. Further, the use of misrepresentation, fraud, coercion and/or duress in the inducement of entering into a contract constitutes valid grounds for rescission of said contract. Moreover, the offending party may be exposed to liability for all damages resulting from the misrepresentation, fraud, unfair and deceptive business practice pursuant to appropriate causes of action as well as other penalties imposed by law.

Therefore, this letter is a formal demand on behalf of Ms. [redacted] that [redacted] issue a refund and/or credit in the amount of $10,000.00 plus the interest accrued on her credit card within fourteen (14) days from the date of this letter. Further, Ecommerce shall transfer ownership of the domain name, [redacted], to her. Please send all responses in writing including confirmation that [redacted] will comply with the demands set forth above to the undersigned at address listed above.

Please be advised that Ms. [redacted] has been made fully aware of her legal rights, the obligations and potential liabilities of your respective companies, and has expressed an intent to pursue any and all available legal remedies should this letter fail to generate the appropriate response.

Your prompt attention to this matter is greatly appreciated.

Nothing contained herein is intended or should be construed as a waiver of any rights and remedies, either legal or equitable, of Ms. [redacted], all of which are expressly reserved.

I am want the $10,000 refunded plus the domain name [redacted]

I would like to note that the company is operating under 2 names: E commerce advertising team and [redacted].Desired Settlement: Refund my credit card $10,000

Review: We have tried contacting this company several times this year with absolutely no response after leaving several voice messages. When they first contacted us back in Sept. 2012, they made all kinds of promises for which we have never received any return on our investment at all. It's like once they get your money, they cut the cord and leave you on your own. I would not recommend anyone doing any business with this company or any of its affiliates, i.e. [redacted] ([redacted]), [redacted] (DBA as [redacted], nor [redacted]. Apparently, these are supposed to be "sister" companies of Ecommerce Advertising Team.Desired Settlement: I would like a full refund as I feel we may have been set up with a scam for which they get their money and then run.

Review: I spent $15,000, all charged to a credit card, to become an [redacted]. The representative from ecommerce said I would receive 200,000 targeted referrals to my website over a year's period (starting last July). Not only have I not received anywhere near the number of referrals promised, I cannot get them to return my phone calls. They also did not tell me that they would be using another company to develop my website. They turned over my $15,000 to [redacted] who have as of this date been unable to develop a working [redacted] website for me. I have not made ONE CENT to date because the website is not acceptable to [redacted]. I am in the process of providing documentation to my credit card company in hopes of getting a chargeback. I have waited this long because I entered this in good faith and need extra income. Instead, I may be facing bankruptcy. Please help me and, I am sure, others who have been foolish enough to believe their tactics. Thank youDesired Settlement: I want the $15,000 credited to my credit card and I want to officially warn people to stay as far away from ecommerce and [redacted] as possible.

Review: I purchased a website, hosting, training and website Advertising, traffic and website upkeep. The company sent me to several different companies to complete all the for mentioned details yet the training and website upkeep is not being accomplished. I have several different phone numbers to call and none of them work. They are working with another company that I received notice that if any time I was not happy with the service I could receive a full refund. Since I purchased this in June of this year I have been unable to establish communication with the company after submitting my initial complaint to resolve the situation. I have spoken with [redacted], [redacted], [redacted], [redacted], and [redacted]. I informed them all that they had breeched contract and I expect a full reimbursement. I hired an lawyer and he sent a letter in the mail to the companies address I was given and listed on line and that mail came back undeliverable. Global Express Business system was the other company I am referring to. Mr. [redacted] told me at any time if I was unhappy I could request FULL REFUND and that would be given to me. A re launch of my campaign according to contract has already happened according to contract with no results. I have sent a letter to Global mailing address and not received a call. All the pone numbers I was given for them are "temporarily out of service". Theses companies are not what they seemed to be and I am requesting full reimbursement for breech of contract. Items were not completed as contacted and that puts them in breech.Desired Settlement: I would like total reimbursement for the total of 14,149$. That does not include that wasted days and night of work and list sleep for not being able to reach them via phone or email. If I add me time to this at my current pay they would owe me over $25,000. I am tired of scammers and people who don't really want to be a business just take advantage of those who trust others to be who they say. At the time of purchase I researched the company and found some good things about it and no bad. Now I see more and more bad about them and know why.

Any additional information you may want please feel free to contact me. I have kept records of attempts to reach them from June to August.
