Review: I have a CHIP out of my Silestone countertop. There is a 15-Year Residential Limited Warranty for North America. I had a chip on the edge of my Silestone several months ago and a Service/Warranty Rep, [redacted], came out and supposedly fixed it. He patched it and it looks like a PATCH. I want this fixed where it cannot be seen. I paid way too much money for this countertop to have chipped when I did NOTHING to it. I found the chip on top of the counter when I was cleaning it. I told [redacted] I wanted this section replaced (it is a small section) and he said NO they don't do that. The way the warranty reads is "if defects occur during the warranty period, Consentino, S.A. will AT ITS OPTION, repair or replace the defective Silestone quartz surfaces". So apparently they have "Optioned Out".....I want EVERYONE to know NOT to purchase Silestone because the Manufacturer does not guarantee it and it definately CHIPS!!!Desired Settlement: I want this chip to either be fixed (at Consentino/Stone Systems Cost) so it is unnoticeable OR REPLACED.
