July 6, 2017RE: Response to MrsM***'s responseI hereby reject this response as most of the information in her response is completely untrue and never happened.1)On 1-we discussed how the dryer was on the second floor as my builder (*** ***) built the home in did not hire a separate contractor at any point to put the washer and dryer where they are located and always have beenE & H never advised me putting it somewhere else, and why would I? The unit worked fine where it was at for yearsThey simply state they were surprised at the location.2)This is correct, on June 7th, days after I called on (June 3rd) and left a voicemail at your store, you came out.3)"This had to be caused by hit to line coming up from line"? I don't even know what this means? The dryer sits there and dries, we didn't move it, and we didn't hit itWe can have "*** Propane" testify to what they found when they came out on June 8th, the day after E & H came outThey capped the gas and made sure all was shut off up frontThey told me the lines were improperly hooked up, and that it was actually illegal how the line was connected to another to make it longer, and that was why it eventually leaked.4)Correct, it was recommended I call a plumber to install some kind of access door on the back wall, it was also recommended I take the wall down and enlarge the whole room.It was never suggested by E & H that they take the dryer back and find one that would fit instead.5)Correct, I called the recommended plumber # only to receive a message that the "mailbox was full" and could not leave a messageI tried a few times; I was unable to leave a messageI honestly have no idea who I was calling, there was no message on the machine, just that the mailbox was full and I could not leave a message, but it was the number that E & H wrote down for me.6)Saturday, June 10,left a message, and again on Sunday the 11thI also left more after speaking to Helen, who told me she would get back to meI never heard from her or anyone at E & H again.7)"June 15th, Helen called, and I didn't answer." This is a complete fabrication and outright lieI would have been more than happy to do this, as I was the one that left them several messages asking if we could compromise on another dryer in the first place! I was totally willing to swap back the one they sold me for buying another one from themI DID NOT receive any phone call, or voicemail, or any contact from E & H againWhy didn't anyone follow up? Place another call? Because it did not happen! All I was told by Helen was that E & H was trying to get out of the selling of appliances part of the business, and she did not foresee any units coming into the store to possible swap out with meBasically, she was telling me "no", but said she would talk to the "boys" about it when the returnedHad she in fact called me like she states, I would not have filed against them in the first placeSince, doing a swap with them was exactly what I was asking them to do consider.8)Correct, I had to purchase another unit, and due to all of my recent bad experience with gas dryer, I opted to go with electricThe unit I bought was exactly the same, inchesI had to also hire an electrician to move the outlet up several inchesI have receipts to prove all of this and they are attachedAnd yes, I gave them the dryer, what was I supposed to do with it? I contacted E & H, they did not respondLowe's sent their 3rd party company ***, they picked up the dryer and dropped of the new one we bought right into the same place that E & H did on the 2nd floorI have uploaded my receipts for the new dryer and the electrician's bill here as well."How can we refund money with no dryer?" How could you hook it up illegally in the first place? Why didn't you just say, hey this dryer's too big, let's go back to our show room and find one that will fit better? Instead, you opted to put my family at considerable risk.Regards,

June 26, 2017Dear Revdex.com, [redacted] gas dryer was sold to [redacted] on 1-18-17 and was used until 6-6-17 when we received a phone call of a problem of a smell.  On 1-18 we advised [redacted] dryer should not be in a 2nd fl bedroom closet and that the area was too small.  She...

insisted on installation and stated her contractor made laundry space properly.  Our 2 men had to disconnect washer and dryer to get dryer sold to her in and then reconnect both.  June 7, day after complaint we went out and confirmed there was a small leak in line.  This had to be caused by someone moving or a hit to line coming up from floor on right side.  It was recommended for a plumber to install access door or opening on back wall and piped properly behind dryer.  We had name and phone no.  at time of a registered plumber and listed to his input and he would have come out if [redacted] phoned him for an estimate.  Saturday, June 10 [redacted] spoke to no one, we are closed Saturday and Sunday.  On June 13th she did phone, spoke to Mom and every dryer we had was wider than was needed.  On June 15th I, Mom, phoned [redacted] who did not answer and stated we had an electric dryer ready that could be installed and we would credit her $100 in exchange for taking gas dryer towards $180 [redacted] electric dryer that measured 26" wide.  We never spoke again and thought [redacted] was not interested.  If [redacted] did purchase a [redacted] dryer it would have to be a small unit or the outlet would have had to be moved and she would not have given them a good working gas dryer.  Is there a receipt proving this purchase?  How can we refund money after 5 months of use and not receiving the dryer back?  Helen M. E + H and Son
