-- Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: The original set I purchased was for $but was told it was discontinuedEdgar talked me into getting a set that was on display in his shop that was an [redacted] set with a sofa bed which was almost$moreHe also said that a the time of purchase that the set was his best seller and easy to deliverI paid a total of $on 3/3/and have text messages where I was given the run around about when I would get the furnitureHe finally delivered it on 4/28/which when I saw it I asked if he could get it in and he responded "These sets are the easiest to get in", but he wasnt able to get it inI even tried to help as my old couch was just as big that I was able to get out of my apartmentI attempted to ask for a refund which u refused but advised if I ordered something else which cost less he would refund the differenceI then ordered stationary set I found in a catalog in his store on 5/and asked what the cost due to it not having a sofa bed like the other set He claimed it was the same price because he didn't want give me any kind of refundAgain he gave me the run around about when & where the furniture wasI even called the distributor [redacted] where he claim he ordered from, but when I gave his business name they did not have a order from himThat is when he claimed he used a different business name but refused to tell me the nameHe also said the furniture was at a Warehouse in North Philly when he initially made me believe he ordered it directly from the distributor in New JerseyI'm 6/he told me he had the set but sends me a picture of a complete different set in a different style & colorI have texts showing each day he said he was delivering that day only for him not to show up, with no communication until I reached outI finally received the correct set & he gave me couches but he brings huge boxes in my livingroom & then tells me he would be back to set up but he had to deliver mattresses to a customer not far away, that was at 4:34pmHe knew I was going out of town, but I told him I would wait because he told me he would be right backWhen hour went by I knew he wasn't coming back so I broke down both boxes and put everything togetherI text him at 6:30pm to let him know what I did & his response was saying "Oh really, I was just in my way backWhen I finally saw the furniture I realized the quality was no where the same as the [redacted] setSo I called [redacted] again and have them the model# [redacted] and they advised me the couch is priced at $210, so when I asked Edgar about the cost and asked him for a reasonable difference in the price I paid because he lied about it being the same price & quality he refused and told me to take him to small claims courtThis man is unprofessional & is doing shady business practicesAll I want is a reasonable refund because he has put me through so muchHis business has no signs saying no refund and my original receipt did not say that eitherHe hasn't even furnished me with an updated receipt for the furniture I did getAlso, he original advised me delivery takes week, if he would have been honest about what he knew about [redacted] being back logged with delivery I wouldn't have purchased with himAt one point when Holidays kept going by with no furniture and I couldn't invite family over, I asked Edgar if I could but a kitchen table from him & he could refund the difference of what I already paid so I could go somewhere else to get a couch because it was going on months without delivery, but he refusedI just want him to to refund me the difference of what I paid and what he actually paid or would charge under circumstancesI even asked for the difference of of what I paid total and the price of the very first set that was discontinued and I was paying $for, but again he refused Regards, [redacted]

She then returned and apologized for being mean and I told her it's ok. She told me to please come out and try again with the set.. I told her I won't fit but she convinced me to come back out and show her that it won't fit. Of course it didn't , and we were back to square one. So I brought her back to the shop where I proceded to tell her she could choose another set, perhaps one that comes apart. I gave her a ton of options and she made a choice. I told her it wouldn't cost her any more money.. (although I had to keep the original set, pay a delivery guy twice, and never charged her a redelivery fee) I brought in her choice and upgraded her to 2 sofas instead of sofa and loveseat. I believe I've kept my end of the bargain and then some.

Edgar talked me into getting a set that was on display in his shop that was an [redacted] set with a sofa bed which was almost$400 more. He also said that a the time of purchase that the set was his best seller and easy to deliver. I paid a total of $971.98 on 3/3/17 and have text messages where I was given the run around about when I would get the furniture. He finally delivered it on 4/28/17 which when I saw it I asked if he could get it in and he responded "These sets are the easiest to get in", but he wasnt able to get it in.
