Attention [redacted],My response to the E.J. Burns Construction response is as follows:The contention that we rigidly demanded Mike Z[redacted] pay the additional $18,000.00 for his miscalculation and his lack of preparation for the job, although not a bad idea, is utterly false.  Our initial request of Mike was to sit down at the table, man to man, and discuss the sand issue.  Obviously he has a problem with the honor aspect of having a man to man conversation.Mike Z[redacted] has clearly breached his own contract.  No other payment from us is required until the sand filtration bed is installed and inspected.  He needs to contact us and make arrangements to finish that stage of the work, then he could possibly bill us for any legitimate material cost overages, pending our evaluation and approval.  Anything short of this action on his part constitutes continued breach of contract and appropriate action will ensue.We have worked hard to make contact and negotiate in a fair manner.  The ball is in Mike Z[redacted]'s court.  No other time or energy need be expended pre-loading Mike with our strategic plan.  In summary, Mike refused to sit down and work on a resolution with us concerning his gross miscalculation of costs.  Instead he packed up and walked off the job.   Mike Z[redacted] can ride that baby mentality wave for now, but a time of reckoning is inevitable for any adult doing business.Please post this complaint and correspondence on your web board.Sincerely,[redacted]

- which would be a change order from our original contract. Penn D.O.T. Type B #2 sand is not available. This sand is a substitution.The [redacted]s are demanding that I pay for the sand, and area refusing to pay the extra cost. Work has ceased. At this time - there is a balance due of $4,000.00 - for work completed, and stocked materials.Thank you,
