Review: Our company has been harrassed repeatedly. The same gentleman calls from [redacted] daily, sometimes multiple times a day. I have requested at a minimum of 10 times now that we are not interested and to please cease calling. They disregard this and call repeatedly and disrupt our business.Desired Settlement: I wish for them to cease contacting us immediately. We are not interested in their products.

I was later informed, when I followed up with the Revdex.com because I did not see my response to the complaint, that the system (Revdex.com) doesn’t always accept responses for some reason. On 06/**/2015 I directly spoke with the [redacted] (complainant) in reference to the complaint that someone has called the company multiple times a day. I assured them that this is not how we do business (harassing potential clientele) and also made them aware that they would be put on our companies Do Not Call list and should not be called by us again. I even went so far as to give him my direct contact information in the rare instance that they do get contacted by us again. In running a check on our phone system of outbound calls to this specific company and number there were four within a 30 day time frame not including the ones that I had made to them on 06/**/2015. I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me and the matter has been resolved.

Sincerely,

Review: A very abrasive male representative named [redacted] called and tried to get connected to our President (**). The first person to take his call transferred him to **'s assistant, at which point he asked to speak to **. He was put on hold while she checked with **. In the 15 seconds it took her to get back to [redacted], he had hung up. [redacted] called in again within a minute or two. I answered the phone this time and he again asked for **. I asked his name and where he was calling from. He responded he was [redacted] with EJ Sterling. I asked the nature of his call, and he said he was returning **'s call. Knowing we had just had an aggressive sales call come in, I told him I needed something more specific. He then said he did not have time for this, and demanded that I give him **'s cell phone number. I informed him that that was not going to happen, but if he would like to hold, I would check with ** to see if he was expecting a call from him. At this point he said "[redacted]." I responded "Excuse me? You will never get through to him like that." By the time I finished my sentence, he had hung up on me. I explained all of this to **, who was upset that we had to deal with this sort of treatment, and that [redacted] is more likely than not applying the same tactics and vulgarity on other sales calls. ** asked me to find information on EJ Sterling, which I did by sending him a link to their web-page. ** tried to call EJ Sterling and resolve the issue directly with them, but, low and behold, they screen their phone calls, and he was unable to get to [redacted] or anyone else whom he could resolve the situation with. He then asked me to file a complaint with The Revdex.com.Desired Settlement: I don't feel aggressive sales tactics should be tolerated. [redacted] should either change his tactics, or his line of work.

Response:

Dear [redacted]:

This is in reference to a complaint submitted to the Revdex.com about EJ Sterling by [redacted] at Metro Fire Sprinkler Services. I personally spoke with [redacted] this morning, the purpose of the call was to convey to [redacted] that EJ Sterling does take this issue very seriously and that the gentleman that she spoke with aggressive sales tactics do not reflect that of EJ Sterling and that he has been spoken to and assured her that she would not have to deal with that type of call again. I reassured [redacted] that the phone numbers were indeed placed on the firm's DO Not Call list and would no longer receive any calls from us again. I went one step further to let [redacted] know that in the occurrence she does receive a call from us to give me a call directly and I would take the matter up personally.

Sincerely

President

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me and the matter has been resolved.

Sincerely,

Review: This company practices unprofessional, rude, and childish means of contacting you when they want to sell you something. All hours of the night, day. I received over 125 phone calls in one day to my business, cell phone. The company sales rep [redacted] was informed that we were not interested in doing business with sales people who use auto dial tactics to call you until you have no choice but to answer. They do not take NO for an answer. In many cases the sales world would say this is a good trait of a sales person. But [redacted] aka [redacted] is so ignorant with ethics that he is blind to how he comes across on phone calls. I have professionally asked him to take us off list. I have asked him not to harass my place of business and my employees. He continues to interrupt the family, the business after being asked both nicely and firmly not to call us. Although this sales person originally made an offer of a sale. He was given instructions on when to call me. He blew it with his calling me twice in a very important meeting when he was told not to call me before 10am. I am in [redacted]...... He is in NY.. After experiencing this sales persons true colors, I decided NOT to complete this transaction. I have informed him of this 3 times. I have shredding all paper work that that company has sent me however they call me like a child would do. On 9/**/13 I received 98 calls from [redacted] on cell, 25 at my business, and he is calling me at 4 am at my home but does not have the [redacted] to say anything on the line when my wife answers the phone... I spoke to [redacted] today on phone, he threatened to send my phone no. out to every co worker.Desired Settlement: I have already contacted my attorney and they are filing paperwork with EJ Sterling cease to stop harassment. It would be great if somehow the bureau can flag this company with harassment statement.

Response:

Upon investigation it has come to the companies attention that [redacted] had opened an account with [redacted]. [redacted] in an effort to collect the appropriate account documentation back from [redacted], in doing so, he had contacted [redacted] several times over a couple days, this is not a tactic condoned by EJ Sterling nor is it something we encourage here. Because of our findings, our Chief Compliance Officer contacted [redacted] and not only assured him this not something we tolerate here at EJ Sterling and notified him that we were immediately putting him on the companies Do Not Call list and put several numbers on the Do Not call list at [redacted] request.

Review: After many, many requests and demands for this company to stop contacting me, they persist in calling 2-3 times a month. Additionally, our phones are on the FCC DO NOT CALL LIST but this company refuses to honor that. Today was my last straw before filing this complaint. The individual who called today identified himself as [redacted], the caller ID said EJ Sterling and the number was ###-###-####. I have tried calling the company directly using the number on their website, but there is not a live person to speak with.Desired Settlement: Discontinue all communication attempts from anyone associated with this company.

Business

Response:

This letter is in response to the above complaint that was received by you from [redacted] regarding his request for our firm to discontinue all communications from anyone associated with our firm.

In his complaint he states that the firm has contacted him 2-3 times per month and that the firm does not take into consideration that he is on the National Do Not Call List.

The firm takes these issues very seriously and we conducted a thorough review of our phone records from January *, 2013 up to and including April *, 2013 for the two phone numbers provided in his complaint. The results were that [redacted] was contacted on February **, 2013 and again on April *, 2013, the latter we believe is the call that precipitated the complaint to you. These are the facts as discovered by the firm; we believe that other telemarketers are also contacting [redacted] and we have been lumped together with them. We also checked the telephone number on our website and it was functioning properly there is a voice mail service, but it is manned during normal business hours of 9am to 5pm.

Furthermore, the daytime number listed in the customer experience information, is not listed in The National Do Not Call Registry.

We have placed [redacted] on the firms internal Do Not Call List effective April 5, 2013 and we understand the frustration encountered by [redacted] but the facts indicate that it was not EJ Sterling that was constantly calling [redacted].

The firm strives to give the best customer service possible and appreciates the ability to correct any issues or problems that may arise, in a timely manner.

Response:

I would like to reopen this complaint for I have spoken to the complainant and he was satisfied and stated that if I responded again to the Revdex.com and he was contacted by you folks, he would state satisfaction as to his response.

So, if you could, re-open the complaint so that we as a firm do not have something stating unsatisfactory.

If you have any questions feel free to give me a call [redacted] .

Thank you,

President

EJ Sterling
