We hired this business to paint our house in the Fall We hired him (Eugene H [redacted] ) because he had lived on the same street as my sister for many years, had painted a number of houses on that street, and my sister recommended him He started the job and the work he did was good quality The problem is that he did not finish the job and he lied to us I made the mistake of giving him the final payment when he was almost done with the job because I trusted him given his connection with my sister He had requested that I give him money so he could "pay his guys" Unfortunately, once he got the rest of the money, he never came to finish the job He lied to us when my husband called to find out when they were returning to finish, and he told us that he thought the job was finished because one of his guys told him he had finished the job He promised to come out either that Friday or Monday to finish it himself He never showed My husband called him numerous times and he would promise to come and finish what he said was a two hour job, but never did Finally, he started not taking my husband's calls I would not recommend using this business as the owner (Eugene H [redacted] ) appears to lack good, ethical business practices
