On May 25, 2014, I filed a complaint against *** Key, of Key ConstructionThe complaint was, the front porch he was hired to build was not in compliance to our town's building codesMy request of him was my money back in full ($2,540), in order to hire another,
licensed, contractor to (re)build our porch
I contacted *** re this matter for the first time on May 1, I wasn't getting any satisfactory answers for weeks, to the point of my getting frustrated enough to seek outside assistanceHe has since told me he had been waiting to get information on the violations I was claiming, in order to rectify the problem
Last night he came and apologized and refunded the entire amount paid ($2,540)This was all I was looking to accomplish, so I am formally rescinding my original complaint against Key Construction

We hired Eugene K**, EKey Construction LLC, to renovate our upstairs, very small, very outdated bathroom A pipe leak under the shower stall caused damage to the ceiling of the bedroom belowEugene had his hands full!
The bathroom was gutted and one wall expanded into a bedroom that shared the back wall to make it approximately 3-feet larger The sub floor was repaired and a new window insertedWe went from a corner shower stall to a beautiful, roomy tub/shower enclosureEugene handmade several pieces in our bathroom, including a shelf towel rack and a half wall constructed to my exact specificationsWe found Eugene, and his staff, to be reliable, trustworthy, hardworking and most of all respectful of our entire houseThey gave us an update at the end of each day and cleaned up immaculately at the end of each dayThere was never a mess for us to contend with, which made living with a construction site in your home bearableWe were thrilled with the outcome and love, love, love our new bathroom We would hire EKey Construction again and again!
In fact, we already did hire him again for our family room where he replaced several windows and put up new wallsAnd their painting skills are second to none!
We had Eugene replace a rotting deck with composite and couldn't be happierHe worked with us on design and price and did the work exactly as promisedHe and his son were very professional and pride themselves on attention to detailLittle things like daily cleand keeping us apprised of progress were much appreciatedHighly recommended!
