Until we received the Revdex.com complaint we had no knowledge that [redacted] had not received her refund.  All earnest money refunds are handled with an independent title and escrow company. escrow agent confirmed that the refund check had been sent out on April 10th, 2015 and further confirmed that it had not been cashed.  Our agent checked the file and discovered that there was an omission of [redacted]s apartment number on her address.  None of our purchase agreement documents include an apartment number and we had no knowledge of one until it was included in the address of this Revdex.com complaint.Our agent left a message with [redacted] on April 27th explaining the sequence of events concerning the escrow company.  We have had a confirmation today that the title and escrow company has placed a stop payment on the refund, corrected the address and will send a new check within 24 hours. They have also confirmed an email to [redacted] of the same.  [redacted] should be receiving her refund soon.As to [redacted]s concern about the whole house inspection.  We encourage all our clients to get a whole house inspection by a state licensed inspector on any property they wish to purchase.  It was explained to [redacted] that the inspection is the sole property of the purchaser and that any prior inspections are not transferable.  The selling agent may be aware of the existence of such inspections, but has no knowledge of their contents, as was the case here.  We appreciate the opportunity to help [redacted] get her refund back and further explain any items of concern.
