Horrible insurance! Emc insured driver ran trough a neighbor's wall and struck my vehicle, broken windshield side of car and hood covered with block wall debris lots of chips and damage. After the police show up and write up a report they call a couple days later and ask if I'm taking my car to a body shop, I said yes and I do. The estimate came back at $8,900. I sent in the estimate and get a call back saying that they will be sending their own estimator out, he came. Estimator; I will take care of you don't you worry! Showed him all of the damage the broken windshield, the dents, the damaged wheels so I get a call from one of their adjusters and a email with the brake down, keep in mind that this is a collectors car only 640 of them ever made its a 07 Toyota FJ Cruiser TRD Special Edition AWD 6 Speed with a Pearl Black paint job and special edition wheels. Guess what the estimate was for? $2000 yes $2000 to have the car repainted wheels replaced and no windshield lol, yes thay said that the windshield might have been damaged before, I wonder why they said that? Maybe because a new one is $1600 dollars! So I ask for a new estimator and they say no! In a very rude manner! It's been weeks since the accident, I decided not to be a horrible human and not request a rental car, tried to be a decent because I understand that accidents happened but when someone tries to swindle you it just doesn't feel right so here it is, oh and not to mention the estimate they wrote up includes such low prices on all of the replacement parts that you would have to buy them I don't know? "A Junk Yard Maybe'. All of the parts are listed on there as: used rim or used blinker. They have done nothing but waste my time, I have a baby on the way and just moved to this neighborhood and these people are counting on me saying forget this hassle and just pay me what you want! Thank you EMC I guess that there is still crooks around, they just decided to do it legally.
