The owner of this business is unprofessional, ill tempered, and a complete liarHe has admitted previously that he tried to switch the shingle and/or raise the price only to "change" his mind laterI will be pursuing legal action to the fullest extent as well as pursuing criminal charges against the owner for stealingHe speaks of slander on my part but conveniently omitted his slanderous e-mails towards meI will be pursuing slander as wellAs far as I know he's a roofer not a Psychiatrist and it's completely irresponsible to be making psychiatric diagnosesIf you read the e-mail he says I'm mentally ill, among other things in order to attempt to hurt meIs this the type of business owner you want in the Revdex.com? I will be retaining a lawyer ASAP

Mr *** is correct and I apologize for not getting the permit in a timely manner Last year we had done at least jobs and I understand the importance of permits and had no intentions of not pulling one It somehow got over looked It was an honest mistake
There is a permit pulled and is currently waiting inspection I apologize for the lack of communication that *** *** is saying on my partI spoke with him or times and told him I would get it as soon as possibleWhen he first contacted me, our staff was trying to deal with a loss of one of our employees, and I told him it would take a little timeI did pull a permit as soon as I was back In town. Thanks ***

There have never been any reasons to lie about anything, especially when everything including text messages can be see. No one cared what product *** wanted, there is no difference in cost for products in question. We told him which shingle he had on his roof currently. We have all the text messages and all the interesting emails have been postedWhere are the supposed bait and switch conversations (please provide)? As far as E&M being ill tempered, we have been very patient, there was no reason for this business matter to escalate what so ever. We don't claim to be psychiatrists but when you attack someone in the manner that *** took the time to do, we could have had his roof project completed multiple times. These confrontational communications have nothing at all to do with performing a service and are completely uncalled for and very counterproductive We have done a lot of work on this project alreadyIf we thought for any reason that we did something wrong or misrepresented the customer with their ins company, we would refund all money in fullHowever, the customers roof was approved after our meeting with the adjuster, and we feel that the customer is trying to have us cancel the contract by attacking and bullying us personally as people, slandering our business, and fabricating a story about shingle choices into way more then anything it was. What would Mr*** think is a fair compensation for meeting with him multiple times, getting his roof approved, and signing a contract that legally states that upon cancellation E&M will be compensated 20%?

Tell us why here... I met with Mr. [redacted] insurance company on Tuesday March 1, 2016. I was able to get the roof and gutters approved. Once [redacted] received the paperwork from the insurance company approximately 2 weeks later, we set up an appointment to meet and pick out shingle colors. He picked...

out the GAF TIMBERLINE HD color HICKORY, which is stated on the contract, along with a approximate start date of March 22, 2016. We briefly discussed about contacting his HOA and [redacted] was not concerned about getting approval from them on a shingle type or color. However, E&M took the liberty to take a sample of his current roof to verify the exact shingle he currently had.   …On March 22, E&M received a text message from [redacted] stating "Based on the weather forecast, “I'm not comfortable having the roof done this week".-[redacted]  So E&M did not schedule for that week. Later in that same week a call was made to [redacted] to let him know that the current roofing shingle that he has is known as the -Tamko Heritage color- Rustic Redwood, and because we did not receive an HOA approval to use a different shingle or color, we wanted to verify with [redacted] if he would like too keep the same product/color, or go with the lather. He seemed hesitant and wanted to see what the difference was. I told him I thought I would be able to bring them by that week but instead he was fine with me sending pictures. After Mr. [redacted] viewed the different type of shingles, he decided to stick with the GAF. We were scheduling for the next week, but once again due to inclement weather the roof was pushed back an additional week.  The conversation or lack thereof, took a turn the next time that  I tried to schedule a date, he became irate on the telephone and hung up without a resolution of any sort regarding rescheduling of the project and seemed like there had been a miscommunication on both parts. Multiple attempts were made to Mr. [redacted] to try to resolve the miscommunication but we were redirected to his secretary. At this point there were talks of dissolving the contract for reasons that could have been discussed and resolved. E&M had already done much of the post project prep including working with insurance, ordering shingles, and multiple travel fees.  [redacted] had sent email messages that were emotionally disheartening and truly slanderous. Therefore the rescheduled job for July was cancelled after talks with E&M legal team stated that [redacted] terms were not practical and a bigger issue could arise if we were to proceed.  E&M attempted to handle the best they could, but [redacted] demands for “the way the project would now be going”- [redacted]… were threatening and not allowing E&M to be the sole contractor including [redacted] asking another roofing contractor to survey and manage the project. At this time E&M is discussing with legal the best way to handle dissolving the contract completely, returning the materials and down payment to the homeowner, while at the same time  collecting the 20% agreed upon in the contract for services rendered thus hoping for a amicable dissolve and solution for the return of the down payment.  E&M would like to settle the cost and part ways, and at this point the emails and slanders are negatively affecting our business moral.
