Review: I purchased playing card holders from Newt's. One of the holders says in their advertising that the tray holds 6 decks of cards and can be used for playing various card games including Canasta. The holder has two slots (side by side).The game of Canasta is played by each player drawing cards from the stack of cards on one side and discarding cards into the other side of the holder.The 6-deck tray sold by Newt's is too flimsy to hold 4 or more decks on one side without the tray tilting over from the weight thereby causing the tray to slant so that the cards slide off the stack.When I contacted Newt's by phone they informed me that the holder will only hold up to 3 decks on each side. Therefore, there is no space to discard cards into. Their solution is that I must exchange the 6-deck holder for a 9-deck holder (with 3 slots) at my own cost for shipping.However, their advertising does not state the limitations of the 6-deck holder so that an interested buyer does not choose the wrong one.Desired Settlement: Since their 6-deck holder will not work as intended because it is too flimsy (the base is not weighted sufficiently), they should provide a replacement (9-deck model) that will work for playing Canasta as stated in their advertised description, at their cost. I, as the buyer, should not be required to pay more shipping cost for the exchange.

We are very sorry you do not agree with the manufacturer's description on this particular product. We have been selling these card trays for over 10 years and quite honestly we have never had anyone try to stack all six decks on one side or tell us they could not use this card tray with games that require 6 decks. I tried to call you today but got your voice mail. I have requested our shipping department to send out a call tag for you to ship the card tray back to us. Once we receive it back we will refund your credit card.
