Review: I called up the company which is Glass & Mirror Etc to come and give me a price to put up a glass store front for a wall. The owner just had surgery, so ,he send one of his workers to come out and do a measurement, which his name was [redacted], [redacted] came out and did the measurement, but he email me and said he couldn't installed because he had got the wrong glass in, which I think he didn't measure it rite. I said to him, my husband made a lil change because it was a hazardous to put that where [redacted] was going to put up the glass , but had the same measurements like before. [redacted] came to measure it again and still messed up the length of the measure, so we kept talking to the boss, trying to fix the matter, I gave $225.00 deposit on the total amount that the company was charging me which was $750.00, that was fine , but when he said he had two separate pieces of glass ,my husband said he want just one whole glass, not two, the owner got smart and rise the price to $905.00, Then call and said we no longer wants to do business with you, I said give me back my money. I have all my emails save from the first time we talked to the end.Desired Settlement: I want my money back. I cant do any thing with that glass they all ready had laying around trying to sell it to me, plus they over pricing for the frame, I did my research. I just want my money back.
Attached you will find a picture of the frame built based on [redacted]'s initial meeting with Indira. Subsequent to that meeting [redacted] met with [redacted] and instead of the opening Indira and he agreed on we offered to make the changes [redacted] requested. We explained that cost for materials and labor had been incurred and we would want to be compensated. At this juncture what I perceived as a misunderstanding became a mis-measurement, and incompetence on [redacted]'s part according to Indira and [redacted]. Glass & Mirrors Etc. has been in business since 1992 and under current ownership since 2004. We understand you can not please all of the people all of the time. I have cut and pasted my email explaining the situation to [redacted] and [redacted], and we could not reach a reasonable agreement to move forward I offered to give them all of the materials and not chaage them one cent more and suggested they find another contractor. Also cut and pasted is [redacted] reply to that offer. I will keep the material here for another 15 days should they wish to come and get it. If you require any additional information regarding this matter please do not hesitate to contact me.[redacted]
