E. Stanley Contracting

Review: E Stanley paved our drive way and splashed tar on our new garage door. The day the service was completed they came to collect payment and I pointed out the tar spots. He promised they would remove it the next day. They never returned. I have called several times and left messages, they don't return my calls. I even bumped into him at a local gas station and he said their phones were down and he would come out and get the tar off. its been more than a week since this encounter. I have since called and told them just to tell me how to remove it and I'll do it myself. No return phone call.

Prior to starting the job, I asked if I had to put a tarp over the garage door and they told me not to.Desired Settlement: I don't trust them to do any work and my gut is that they don't know how or think it can be removed. Therefore, my desired outcome overlaps a number of the options. Best case is that I hire someone else to repair our garage door and they pay for it or they refund me for the paving of the drive way since they haven't stood by their work by removing the damage they have caused.
