This user cancelled on 6/21/which is two days after the account auto renewed on 6/19/This user also sent email on 6/21/which requires a paid subscription in order to do so Although not required we have issued a refund of $to her accountPlease allow to hours
for the credit to appear

cannot find a ticket in our system for your compliant so I'm glad to have the opportunity to assist you nowWe care about our customers and we always strive to provide the best experience possible so I'm sorry to hear that we did not meet your expectationsThis is not a common experience on the website thoughWe have over two million members and we've been online since with very few complaints about the service compared to the size of our membershipOf course we can't please everyone but we certainly do our best to provide 100% satisfactionYour complaint seems to imply that our company creates fake profiles that are then used to bait our non-paying members into paid subscribersThis could not be further from the truthIn order for a dating site to be successful it must be run with very high ethical standardsFitness Singles has NEVER created a fake profile nor will it EVER create a fake profileIf a fake profile is spotted in our community we immediately remove itWe also have teams working 24/to prevent any fake profiles from becoming members in the first placeOf course we can't prevent every fake profile from making it through the review process but no dating website can make that claimUntil the non paying member actually becomes a paid member we do not have any form of official identification linked to the profile of the memberThe credit card that is used to subscribe provides some level of identity verificationThis is why paid dating websites are more secure than free dating sitesFree dating websites never require any form of official identificationTypically when someone first becomes a member they receive an influx of messages because they are promoted heavily to members in their areaEventually the messages will come in less frequently as the existing pool of users in your area become exposed to your profile and decide to either contact you or decide you may not be a suitable matchYou also indicated your subscription was cancelled which is not entirely correctThe auto renewal portion of the paid subscription was cancelled but this still allows the remaining time that was purchased to be usedYou can see this stated in your cancellation email notificationI see the account still has an active paid subscription as of today (3/28/2018) that doesn't expire until 8/28/Since the service has been used I can refund the difference between the price of the month and a Month paid subscriptionAlternately, you can continue to use your paid subscription until it is completed in August with an free extension to the end of the yearPlease let me know what you would like to do

Can you tell us what you mean by "impossible to get my data"? We see that you have used the website as recently as January 16th. The website has been online since 2003 and is run with the highest ethical standards. Let us know how we can help.Thank you,Chris

There were two charges to the consumer and also two refunds that were also given back to the consumer.

We would like to assure you that the profiles...

are not fake and that they are all user generated. We do not create or modify profiles under any circumstances. With regards to your subscription we see that you had a previous subscription with us in 2007 and we're sorry that your experience this time did not meet up to your expectations. Since you were only on the site for three days we are happy to grant you a full refund and we will do so immediately. Thank you.

The refund is calculated as follows -  $119.88 USD minus $39.99USD = $79.89 USD. This equates to approximately 100.66 Canadian Dollars.  The payment will be mailed by check. Please let us know if this is what you would like to do. Thank you.

I can't explain why there has been no response form customer service. How did you contact the dept? Was it email or by phone? Many times our replies to email go into...

Very difficult to get a live person in customer service.
The Fitness Singles site was down for a couple of days during my 1 month membership. I never got a full 30 days as they did not extend my membership to make up for the lost 2 days. All I could do was email my complaint, since it was not possible to reach a live person. Nothing was done about it.

Review: I signed up for a month and thought it was only a month. I called or emailed to make sure it was cancelled it but I deleted the email confirmation. I have not used the site in 5 months because I cancelled it, they can see that I have not signed on. I was on another site that was free because I could not afford this site with the $37 fee. I would not have let it go without canceling, I know what for a fact. I know that I cancelled it. I want them to refund me the $187.Desired Settlement: I want a refund for $187.

Review: Fitness-singles.com is a scam. The profiles are professionally written. You don't have to pay until you want to reply to a message. I set up a profile then was innundated with queries. As soon as I paid then the queries stopped. I replied to those who sent me email and to others. The emails are all unread. I log in once a week and send an email to all the new people and they remain unread too. There are no people behind the profiles.
