E-Watertest

Review: This is in reference to a www.e-watertest.com aka Drinking Water Specialists complaint. I ordered two water test kits from this company to ensure that a new [redacted] I had recently installed in our house was working properly, and because I wanted to know what was in our drinking water. I followed the kit instructions to a T and labeled them "sample A" and "sample B" (note: sample A was the post filtered water and sample B was the pre-filtered water). Upon receiving the results, the pre-filtered water came back clear on any chlorine and the post-filtered water showed that it had chlorine in it! (specifically Chloroform and Bromodichloromethane). These two substance were not in my pre-filtered water, and I highly doubt my filter put these substances in the water. Bottom line is I think the tests got confused in the lab. I called and the lady there [redacted] I think) told me there was nothing she could do. She would not even allow me to speak with a lab tech to figure out what happened. So I am out over $300 and I don't even know if the tests were accurate. This can affect my health and the health of my family!Desired Settlement: I would like the tests re-done for free to confirm the results. I would also like a phone call and explanation for what happened with the original tests.
