E Z Auto Sales Reviews (2)

Review: I recently purchased a vehicle from EZ Auto Sales, without being made fully aware that the vehicle I was purchasing had a salvaged title. The sales information was misleading and deceiving, and when I requested carfax information, the sales manager and owner claimed the carfax machine was down. Because the vehicle I purchased has salvaged title, the warranty I purchased with it is null and void, and the value of the vehicle is worth less than half of the value that I financed. Within 3 days, the vehicle started having noticeable mechanical problems and performing poorly. Product_Or_Service: 2005 EvoDesired Settlement:

Response:

We do not pay to provide car fax information however we have no issues with a customer purchasing a car fax. All our used cars are sold AS IS and have no warranty. We always have customers sign proper paperwork disclosing the car has a salvaged title. We would not have sold an additional warranty because we don't offer this nor could we offer a warranty for a car with a salvaged title.

Review: I purchased a 96 acura tl from ez auto sales on 7/11/12. that day I put down $600 and agreed to pay bi weekly for this car until I reached a total sales price of 1900. I discovered the next day by a tag on the engine that the vehicle was salvaged. I brought this up to the dealer and he said "anyone could put that sticker there. this car is not salvaged, if you prove to me it is, i'll give it to you for free." he later proved that it was salvaged himself when he gave me memorendum title stating that is was salvaged. at that point I had already paid him 1000 for that car that no longer ran. I agreed with the dealer to sell the car to another private party for 300 dollars and put that towards a second vehicle from ez auto sales. I have had this car for over a month and he just recently, put the title in my name. however I still have no physical prove of a title, just a statement from the bmv saying that when they research the vin number the title comes back in my name. I am constantly being harassed by repo people at my job and home coming to come try and take my car claiming I am late on multiple payments when I in fact have the paperwork stating I am not. the most recent visit was at my job and was threatened by ez auto sales if I did not give up car at that moment I was going to be arrested. this left me extremely upset at my job and barely able to continue my workday. again I am still expected by ez auto sales to pay for this vehicle when I do not have any physical proof of a title with my name on it. in the end I feel like I have bought two unreliable "lemon" vehicles from this dealer and feel like his business and his acts of a cars salesman is extremely shady and corrupt. he scammed me out of 2 cars and took valuable time away from myself and my boyfriends work schedule. in doing this he has also caused me extreme distress.Desired Settlement: I hope to get some if not all money back from first vehicle that I was never informed was salvaged, for payment towards the second, or if possible give second car back to him and to take my money and purchased vehicle elsewhere. also I hope to get paid for some of the distress by ez auto sales harassing repo practices that are causing me at work and home. total im looking for a settlement amount of 1300. 800 for the first car that I was never told was salvaged and 500 for stress I am enduring.

[redacted] purched a 1996 Acura from EZ auto sales. She put $600 down with bi-weekly payments of $300. She did not maker her full payment, made many excuses and we agreed to lower her payments from $300 to $150. biweek. In fact she did not make any of her payments on time nor the full amount. (attached is a copy of their payment record).

[redacted] and her boyfriend came in on 8-18-12, stating that they sold the vehicle to someone else, still owing a balance of $860. On this day they purchased a 2000 Nissan for $3400 putting a down payment of $325 and bi-weekly payments of $200 (bill of sale attactched). The normal down payment for this vehicle should have been $1600 they begged and pleeded with [redacted] to allow him to accept this agreement.

One week after their 1st payment date on 9-7-12, they showed up again with many excuses paying only $50. They have not made any other payments since. The boyfriend showed up approximatly 2 weeks alter threatening and yelling because they have no money to pay and he stated that he is having a problem gotting his pay check from his work.

The car is on repo and the repo personel stated Alicia does not or has ever worked at kroger as stated & that they have moved and are hiding the vehicle.

[redacted] francis owes ez auto sales: $860 from the old car the acura + $3325 for the new car nissan = $180 for 6 weeks late fee which brings the total to = $4365.
