additional suspension parts ordered and replacedThis is why it when into a second dayThe car was returned on June 16th and the client left Santa Barbara for a vacation trip to MammothAt Bishop, over miles from Santa Barbara the car overheated, the client continued to drive to a repair shop during which the engine seizedI received a phone call to say the engine had seized and there was a language / misunderstanding that the timing belt had brokenI said if the timing belt had broken its covered under our guarantee and we would pay for the repairI had the car towed from Bishop to Santa Barbara at a cost to us for $We found that the plastic thermostat housing has perish / disintegrated with age and the car had lost all its coolantThe car has nearly 200,miles and this was not caused by the recent timing belt jobThe client insisted we should have recommend replacing it but the housing was not removed from the car and the damage was unseen inside the plastic pipeThe client has been a good and loyal customer for ours for a long time and I suggest for been to loyal to us that if he purchased a used engine, we would install it for him free of chargeI think this is a very fair offer
