Review: We purchased a 2006 dodge ram from this business on 9-1-15. Within 2 weeks the vehicle was having a cylinder 4 misfire and was returned to dealer to be fixed. On October 2nd we were called that it was fixed and to pick it up. Upon arrival I was told I had to sign a paper absolving them of all future repairs. Dealer would not give me the keys to test drive vehicle prior to signing paper. As soon as I pulled out of the dealership the check engine light came on and upon running the codes it was a cyclinder 4 misfire. At this point the trucj wouldnt stay running and essentially was in need of repair. We replaced a coil pack, the map sensor and throttle body at a personal cost of almost 300 dollars. It was taken to a local mechanic who replaced a rod and spring in cylinder 4, but still the truck wasn't fixed and we were told that we needed to take it a dealership. This was at a cost of 98 dollars. Now the truck has been out of commission virtually since purchasing it. It is at [redacted]. It needs a new valve head. Which is warranty work but after what the warranty company is willing to pay we will still owe 1100 dollars. This brings the grand total out of pocket on a vehicle we have barely had to over 1500 dollars. No one should have to sink that kind of money into a truck they have had less than 3 months. I want the dealer to pay for this repair and reimburse us for the money we have already spent. I have all receipts. If they will not pay I will persue legal action.Desired Settlement: I feel the business should pay for the current repair and reimburse us for money already spent.

We are responding to the complaint that was made by [redacted]. [redacted] & [redacted] purchased 2006 Dodge Ram 1500 SLT for 12,498.00 & they traded a 2002 GMCSierra SLT for $4,000.; so the difference was $8,498.00, plus they had a payoff.[redacted] stated that problems occurred on 9 15 2015 but we were notified on 9/21 when shecalled. If a customer has problems in a short amount of time, we do try to help out for goodbusiness practice. So we agreed to check it out. It was brought back on 9/23. The next daywent to garage, once we figure what the problem was, we put a new fuel injector, 2 newspark plugs in cylinder 4, and changed oil & filter. On 10 2 called [redacted] (husband) it wasdone. Told him on phone what we had done to his truck & there was no engine light on,no misfire, and that the mechanic drove it & I did also. There was no cost to him, and hestated he would have [redacted] pick it up. She came the same day @ 5pm. We have ourcustomer’s sign a waiver, stating what repairs was done and that it is done in good businesspractice and we are no longer responsible for any further repairs. By signing this statementthey except the vehicle and acknowledge the work was done. She signed and Never ask todrive the vehicle before signing. We insist customers drive our vehicles anytime, beforeor after sales. We assumed everything was good, until now.All our Customers receive a Powertrain Warranty 3 months or 4,000 miles at no cost tothem. I could sell our vehicles As Is, and we assume No responsibility, but we don’t. Iam careful about the vehicles I choose for our business, but these are Used vehicles andproblems could happen. I feel bad this has happened to them; so in good faith and goodbusiness practice. I will pay the disputed amount of$1,500.00 the customer is asking for.No way has my business acknowledged any responsibility for what has happen to theirvehicle. My business will no longer pay any other future repairs to this vehicle.I would like to see the total bill from [redacted]. Then payment will be made toreasonable parties.Thank You,
