I went in to get a cleaning, they made me get full X rays even though I had gotten them done about months before, I guess so they could charge my insuranceThen they said I needed a deep cleaning for only a couple thousand dollarsI said No just a regular cleaningThe said no, I left without getting my teeth cleaningTo top it off they sent me to collections over $ Terrible awful people
Never had heard of Aspen dental until I was looking for a dentist in my network There's like in the greater Macon area all working from what appears to be three different offices (clinics)
Had to wait about four weeks for the first appointmentI knew I had a cavity or two and that my insurance had one free cleaning and one free set of x rays per year
From their website, I thought it'd be some big business Tiny office Did x rays and the whole bit to say if I didn't do this deep cleaning my teeth would fall out They had a plan that would be several thousand dollars and offering financing Now when did I want to start my treatment
Even though it advertises no insurance, free exam, free x rays that's an ambiguous statement This place is run like a car lot No credit, no problem No insurance, no problem the exam and x ray is free No where does it state IF YOU DO have insurance that they're going to file against your insurance Called the insurance company and was recommended to wait two weeks to see if they filed Yes Several hundred bucks Went back to get a copy of these x rays as another set in this year would be an out of pocket expense First it was she didn't know how much she'd need to charge me for a copy Then I pointed out the sign stating a free copy of x rays Then I waited Noon came and the woman went in the back and closed the door I waited a few minutes and assumed she'd went to lunch That is inexcusable behavior She said she was in the back and not gone to lunch but how am I supposed to read her mind?
Came back and talked to some of the people waiting All had horror stories An older man had a partial made that the edges were sharp as a knife They were wanting to do something about a tooth/bone he had but when they went to another dentist was informed he had no tooth/bone there to do anything about
A woman had already spent 10k on her teeth and went to the Warner Robins location to be told that location would charge her 1.7k more because it was in WR and another location than in Macon A man waiting told me this was his second appointment The first one he showed up to be told he didn't have an appointment No one was happy with them
Look them up on google The word scam is one of the first words to pop up in the auto fill in feature on a google search
