Review: We hired Mr. Electric to repair our air conditioner and we were told the work had a six month warranty. Our AC stopped working again after one month so we called Mr. Electric. The person I spoke to refused to honor the warranty and suggested I call an AC repairman. I asked him who would pay for the new company and he said I would have to. I explained that we had already paid almost four hundred dollars to have him repair the AC and we were not going to pay twice. He was not convinced it was his problem so we ended the conversation.

Review: I am filing a formal complaint against "Mr. Electric" who failed to complete the job which I hired them for, have used abusive tactics to force further money from me, and have not fulfilled their implied warranty of their work.The following are the facts:- I hired Mr Electric to have an electrician repair an electrical problem in the house. The electrician (named "[redacted]") worked for an hour and a half (but first He wanted 2 hours to be accounted,fortunately Ichecked the time, because He was late) and charged me $418.92. He stated that he·had solved the problem. I paid by check. He started the job with the circuit breaker box, where He connected a disrupted wire, followed working electricity in the half of the house, than in the bedroom, he checked the dimmer switch to the light and fan, and stated it is good. Then hedismounted the fan but after it did not work, he said that the switch needed to be changed for $150. He changed it, but in the opposite way of its arrows.After his departure several hours later upon my return home I found the circuit breaker turned off, the same electrical problem had returned and half of the electricity in the house did not work.-I called and asked the dispatcher, who stated that if their employee was at fault, they would repair it for free. The same electrician, returned. He immediately demanded $300 beforehe would even start the job, stating that I had added to the problems. I refused to pay. After his checking the same fan He "repaired" previously, He demanded that I sign a paper with $ 269,17 stating that "I refuse to pay". I signed his paper, and he left. -Next day I called the company again. I was told they will contact me later, but failed to do so.I have refused to pay again as half of the problem was not fixed. He worked on circuit breaker wire contact and dimmer switch being replacedin a wrong position all for $418,19 I consider this transaction consumer abuse, taking advantage of common people and this damages the reputation of the company Mr.Electric.Desired Settlement: see complaint
