Unfortunately The homeowners are not interested in telling the truth to the whole matter, as you can see in the pictures we provided ample amount of proof that we have asked Mrs. [redacted] to correct any issues she found with the re-roofing. As you may see she has said no and proceeds to tell her obscured tales. We at EA Construction and Roofing are trying to politely and professionally correct any concerns she has, but seems to be more interested in keeping money for her self than correcting these issues. I wish Mrs. [redacted] the best for her and her family, but unless she is willing to allow us to fix any concerns she has, I am unsure as to go about pleasing her and finishing the work we were hired to do. Thank you for your prompt response and hope to settle the matter. Have a great day!

Complaint [redacted]I am Rejecting this response becauseRegards,[redacted] & [redacted]These are just a few of the Pictures, I have more to support my claims. And as far as me supposedly slandering them that is a lie  I have witnesses that heard Eric call his workers [redacted] and talked about how they were south of the boarder Mexicans and they could be turned in for not having green cards. I have over 100 pictures, videos, and recordings to back up my claims, also another roofing outfit. they had plenty of time in the four days that they were here to fix and take care of the mess they made, and clean up stuff from their work, but in those four days in which they were contacted every day about damage they did not fix it, instead they made excuses and then tried to give me $500 dollars to deal with the damages to the cameras. I had to hire someone to put the roof on our shed for inspection, which the roof on the house did not pass. I also have my insurance man Mike [redacted] on recording saying not to pay them any more money and that they did a crappy job. My recordings and video are to large to send, I have Andy on recording telling Mr. [redacted] that he put frost freeze in the valleys of the roof and that these are 50 year shingles, that is not the case. The manufacture which I contacted, is on board with use and told me that they opened a claim and that they are going to test a shingle from the roof to show that the shingles were good and that it was bad installation, they were also sent pictures of the roof. We have [redacted] and [redacted] on recorded conversations on what was delivered, there is still 32 bundles of shingles not accounted for, which we payed for that E&A Construction took and are unaccounted for.

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:
Regards,
[redacted] & [redacted] No we do not Accept there is a matter of building 84 bundles of shingles was ordered only 52 were used on my roof, we are paying to fix all the damage they have done. and as far as the lies that they said they were going to fix everything, they have and had no intentions of fixing what they have damaged, and the other roofing companies I have had out here said that they should not have gotten paid and that I should have ran them out of here on day one. all this was, was a case fraud. I will take my pictures my recordings and my paper work, and this will be a court matter. I am holding paper work stating that the roof did not pass inspection.

To whom this may concern, We would like to thank you for reaching out to EA Construction and Roofing. I would like to talk about the recent complaint you received from a customer we had interaction with. [redacted] had reached out to us for a roof replacement. Our general manager first made...

contact and met [redacted] at her residence; he walked her premise and discussed different varieties of color and options with her insurance money. She then pointed out she did not have enough money for her deductible and demanded we do not do any other work to her house beside the roof. The manager and [redacted] then went over the contract and came to an agreement; they both signed two contracts (one for the company and one for the homeowner). Later that day, [redacted] visited the EA office and handed the secretary a bill for half of the allotted work. Shortly after, an order was placed for the material for the [redacted] roof. The estimated arrival time for material from [redacted] is 5-7 business days. [redacted]’s roofing material was ordered on September 14, 2017 and were delivered to the residence on September 28, 2017. EA Construction and Roofing subcontracted the company ** [redacted] for [redacted]’s roof. ** * were scheduled to begin work on Thursday, September 29, 2017, but were delayed due to weather. The subcontractors revisited the residence the following day, September 30, 2017, and began the removal of the existing shingles. [redacted]’s roof has a pitch that has a 10/12 slope and a 12/12 slope. With such a steep slope, the work was very labor intensive and time-consuming. The general manager was first notified by [redacted] of an incident Saturday, October 1st, 2017, morning. [redacted] called and reported that holes were protruding from her roof into her home and that she had witnessed one of the subcontractors urinating in her backyard. After receiving the report, the general manager and owner rushed over to [redacted]’s residence to document the reports and attempt to alleviate the situation. Both the general manager and owner investigated the home. At that moment, [redacted] could not confidently identify which subcontractor had relieved themselves in her yard, but made the statement, “it was a short brown boy.” [redacted]’s property cameras showed no proof of the incident. When inspecting the interior of the house, minor holes were discovered as result from installing synthetic felt, a material to prevent roofing leaks, with nails. The owner and general manager both expressed sincere concern and extended means of repair and compensation for the damage. It was offered that EA Construction would re-texture and paint her ceiling to repair the damages. After assessing the property and incident, [redacted] expressed content and reassurance that if any other problems may occur that both the owner and general manager would be available. The next morning, October 2nd, 2017 around 9:00AM, the general manager received a phone call from [redacted] stating that water had begun to leak into her home and that one of her security cameras had been damaged. The head roofer of ** * was contacted and they immediately went over to the [redacted] residence to fix the leaks and any other issues. Upon inspection, the head roofer did not find any evidence of leaking and found that the synthetic felt that was installed kept water out. At the time of this inspection, [redacted]’s son was present to witness and confirm that no leaks were detected. That afternoon, the roofing team attempted to complete [redacted]’s roof, but she fired the team and sent them away not allowing them to finish work or cleanup the property of roofing materials. The lead roofer contacted the general manager and explained that [redacted] had fired the crew and stated that she was going to get her money back. The morning of Monday, October 3rd, 2017, the general manager reached out to [redacted]. She expressed that she was not pleased and quite upset with the work that had be done and the workers that were hired. The general manager expressed his apologies and inquired about why she was unhappy at this moment, [redacted] stated that her upset was due to the mess left by the roofing crew and that they had not finished the job. It was offered that work be restarted on the roof and that any other damage, if found, would be repaired. [redacted] asserted that she did not want anyone from EA Construction and Roofing or any associated work to touch her house and she demanded she receive a refund. At this time, the roof was nearly complete minus counter flashing around the chimney, repair to the two nail holes within the attic and cleanup of debris. Our company offered to subcontract a different company to finish her the remainder of the work, but [redacted] declined the offer and asked EA associates to leave the property. Two weeks later, [redacted] reached out to our company and said that her roof inspection had not passed and that she wanted this matter corrected. The general manager extended that the company would fix the issues and complete the contractual agreement they had both signed. [redacted] said that she was not going to pay for work performed on the property and verbatim stated, “perform the work for free, since we had stupid illegal Mexicans who steal our healthcare and work from us white Americans.” [redacted] is an unstable individual who seems to go at any length to gain pro bono work. Our company can provide written and vocal recorded evidence that reassures that this complaint we have incurred is not valid and not an accurate portrayal of EA Construction and Roofing as a business.
