I Have a monthly auto insurance payment of $153 since I started insurance last year with this agency, I have been making my monthly payments and in december I went to make my payment and I was told that my monthly payment decreased and because my insurance was renewed I didn't have to pay anything nor did I owe anything until Jan 20th, the lady told me my insurance was in good standing and that it had also decreased but when I went to make my payment today for janurary, I was told I owed $612 because there were two missed payments for both december and janurary and also that my insurance has increased to $293 because of an accident I had gotten into a year ago even before I started insurance with this agency. I went to the agency personally to find out what was going on and seen the same lady and she stated she didn't know and told me to call peerless which is the insurance company they work under. I wasn't sent any letter in the mail regarding this increase and how can they increase my insurance after a whole year of paying $153 and due to an accident that happened prior to me buying a car and having any insurance. They are telling me that my insurance would be cancelled this week if the $612 isn't paid. I want an investigation on this matter because I'm being told different things and have no knowledge of whats really going on.
