I am rejecting this response because: MrC [redacted] is a liarI do not appreciate his statementsMrC [redacted] was well aware of the many complaints that I had with his workAny time I tried to explain my concerns or question his work he would become erratic and tell me "he has years experience and that I don't know what I'm talking about" or how the "price would go up" when I was just asking him to do what was originally promisedMr C [redacted] was well aware that we had a very tight budget for this project and used that against us by constantly threatening to charge us moe if we questioned his workMr C [redacted] was rude to other members of my family, when they would try to express the concerns I had with the job not being done properly, he got in a full argument with them and became belligerentHe did not complete any of the work he did in my bathroom correctly which will cause me to have to hire another contractor to come and fix the mess he has left me with, I do not want MrC [redacted] back in my home especially after my last conversation with him, he was rude and so erratic with me that my husband actually had to ask him to leave our property or be removedHe acted completely unprofessional and that is not the type of person I want in my home around my childrenI also do not appreciate MrC [redacted] 's statement that this is "a ploy to not pay"I do not believe I should have to pay for a job that was not done correctly, nor do I believe I should pay for a job that I will have to pay someone else to fixI believe that Mr C [redacted] is a man that preys on young couples and tries to scare and intimidate them into letting him do awful work with no repercussionsThis man is not a professional Regards, [redacted]

On 8/1/I started a bathroom project for Mrs***My contract stated that I replace the bathtub, install a new ceramic tile tub surround, install a new tile floor in bathroom, and install a new vanity and sinkAll through the project Mrand Mrs*** stated how pleased they were with
the jobOn 8/3/2016, Mrs*** asked me about doing some other work in the bathroom that wasn't part of my contractThe job at this point was 80% completeI stated to her that any deviation from my contract would involve extra costsMy contract was very specificThey still owe on the contract and the job was very close to completionMrs*** called me that night and told me they wanted to obtain another contractorI tried everything I could to resolve the matter because we were so close to being finished and her complaints just didn't have any meritShe kept insisting that we didn't do what we were supposed to, and it surprised me because all along they kept complementing us on our workI've seen this ploy before, where the job is almost complete and the customer starts stating that something is wrong and they don't want to payI intend to file a lien against the property, and I will be speaking to my attorney on the matter to further see what my options areI regret that this is the way things turned out, I would have much rather finished the job and left with a happy customerShe did not give me that opportunity

I simply won't respond to these outrageous allegationsDuring the time that we worked in Mrs***'s home, we were polite and courteous at all timesThere was never a time when I or any member of my crew ever acted out or in an unprofessional mannerWhenever Mrs*** had a question, we addressed it, right awayEverything that was on my contract to do was done, and moreMrs*** had mistakenly purchased the wrong tile for her floor, and after I installed it, she got angry at me for not seeing the differenceOf course this was hard for me to do because I had never seen the tile, so I had no way of knowingDespite everything I told her if she wanted to get another tile that I would redo the floor for her, AT NO EXTRA CHARGEThat's when she said she would just get another contractor to finish, and I never got the remainder of my contract which was I've never been disrespectful to a customer, and never would
