To whom it may concern, On May 22nd 2015, Tim, a salesman here at Arite Used Auto Parts, sold ***'s [redacted] a [redacted] engine assemblyThe first [redacted] called after we delivered the engine was made on May 29th The call was made to inform us that his check that he wrote for the engine might bounceThe check did not bounce and we did not hear from [redacted] again till after the day warranty period had ended at the end of June Tim told the customer, [redacted] , the engine was out of warranty [redacted] called back more [redacted] and each [redacted] was told the part was out of warrantyWhen [redacted] called back and talked to our general manager, Joe on 8/26/15, he was extremely vulgarAgain [redacted] was told it was out of warranty [redacted] called back again on September 3rd and Tim once again told him the part was out of warranty We have not disregarded [redacted] phone call's or delayed the warranty processThe part is out of warranty and has been since he called to let us know he was having an issue with the partI am enclosing our warranty information that is on the back of all our invoices Regards,

April 6, On March 13th, M [redacted] purchased a transmission from usThe transmission part number is 400-and fits a [redacted] Without warning [redacted] tried to return our item several days later When [redacted] asked, we happily agreed to accept the transmission as a returnWhen we inspected the returned part, we noticed that parts were missing from the transmissionWe explained to [redacted] that transmissions are not sold missing those parts and he would have to retrieve them in order for us to except the return [redacted] at this point became hostile and refused to return the part as we sold itHe blocked our driveway and we had to call [redacted] Police Department to come and remove him from our propertyBefore the police could show up, [redacted] had left our property Arite Used Auto Parts would happily except the return if the part was returned the way it left our facilityUnfortunately, [redacted] refused to do so and we had to refuse the return.

I am rejecting this response because: the reason that this transmission is being returned is because it was the wrong transmission in the first placeIt was a two plug transmission when I requested a single plug transmission for a *** *** *** pickup truckThis transmission I received was for a TahoeAs far as the coupling that they are talking about that goes on the back of the transmission, it was never there when I picked it upI have absolutely no use for the couplingWhy would I throw away $if all I had to do is bring that part with the transmission? This makes no senseI never became irate and never blocked the drivewayThe police were never called and I never refused to leaveI left on my own accordIt now makes a lot of sense why this company has so many negative reviews

I am rejecting this response because: the reason that this transmission is being returned is because it was the wrong transmission in the first place. It was a two plug transmission when I requested a single plug transmission for a [redacted] pickup truck. This transmission I received was for a Tahoe. As far as the coupling that they are talking about that goes on the back of the transmission, it was never there when I picked it up. I have absolutely no use for the coupling. Why would I throw away $900 if all I had to do is bring that part with the transmission? This makes no sense. I never became irate and never blocked the driveway. The police were never called and I never refused to leave. I left on my own accord. It now makes a lot of sense why this company has so many negative reviews.
