Review: Upon trading in a prior vehicle purchased at Eagle I was informed that I would recieve a refund for the unused extended warrenty on the vehicle. When no refund was recieved I called to find out that the dealership had not done the paperwork necessary for the refund. In months past they have discontinued responses via telephone so I sent a letter via email and registered mail to: [redacted]

Dear [redacted]:

I am writing you in regards to an ongoing problem obtaining a refund on an extended warranty for a vehicle traded in at your dealership in Mid February 2013. Not only have I not received the refund, which I am paying a 5.99% finance charge on, I also have been left hanging by your dealership and personnel.

Early on I contacted [redacted], the salesman, who has discontinued all contacts. I therefore started contacting [redacted] who informed me that the man who held the position prior to him had not completed the transaction and [redacted] required me to come to the dealership to sign a request for the refund. When I arrived at the dealership, 15 minutes later, [redacted] had left for the day. He was contacted by cell phone and I did sign the paperwork. I was informed at that time that the refund would be in my hands within three weeks. When this did not happen I contacted [redacted] again. The last time I spoke to [redacted], over three weeks ago, he told me that he would call me back in ten minutes. That was the Friday before Memorial Day. He has not called me back since and does not respond to the telephone messages I have left him since.

It has come to my attention that I am not alone in witnessing such problems with your dealership.

Due to this lack of consideration and uncalled for personal expense on my part I am requesting resolution of the problem immediately. Further, I am emailing copies of this letter to News 7 and News 12 and The Revdex.com of New York. I have explained in my messages to [redacted] that I would have to take this action as no action seems to have been taken to refund the funds, approximately $2,000 and that if he did not return my calls I would contact you as well as the others.
