Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: I hired a plumber who came to my home and tightened a valve where I had the leak I paid bill of $and submitted a copy to my realtor I am not aware of any other plumber entering our property The plumber who tightened the valve satiated that absolutely it was loosened by last person to work in the bathroom, which was the inspector Plumber stated this is actually common when inspections are done If the inspector would have stopped by when called by my realtor and me he would have seen the loose value tightened it and we would not be going through this Again to my knowledge inspector did not have a plumber with him so there could not have been inspection by his plumber The inspector is not allowed back in our home I am asking to be reimbursed by the inspector $for the bill I paid to the plumber Regards, [redacted]

I was asked to inspect the *** *** condo unit G-on December 29th, During the inspection a leak was discovered under the master bathroom sink This leak is one of discrepancies found and documented on my report in this property It is against our policy to discuss the finding of the inspection report to any other party except to our customer and/or his/her agent We are discussing it now because the seller of the property has made a complaint. The leak that was discovered is from a water shut-off valve under the master bathroom sink As shown in my photo and accounts from the plumber who repaired the valve no damage to the valve was found It is also the opinion of the plumber and myself that the leak could not be caused by actions of the inspector and that the valve was defective at the time of the inspection The leak was simply found and documented Eagle Eye will and has disclosed leaks such as these as a courtesy to the seller if immanent damage to the home is suspected. ***

I am rejecting this response because:  I hired a plumber who came to my home and tightened a valve where I had the leak.  I paid bill of $55.00 and submitted a copy to my realtor.  I am not aware of any other plumber entering our property.  The plumber who tightened the valve satiated that absolutely it was loosened by last person to work in the bathroom, which was the inspector.  Plumber stated this is actually common when inspections are done.  If the inspector would have stopped by when called by my realtor and me he would have seen the loose value tightened it and we would not be going through this.  
Again to my knowledge inspector did not have a plumber with him so there could not have been inspection by his plumber.  The inspector is not allowed back in our home.  
I am asking to be reimbursed by the inspector $55.00 for the bill I paid to the plumber.
