Eagle Eye Security Reviews (2)

The complainant's comments to Revdex.com appear below in italics. Bravo Salon's responses to each allegation and assertion appear below in tandem.Saturday, December 10, the complainant called to make an appointment for his wife. He spoke with the salon manager to arrange the appointment. He inquired about...

a full color and a haircut, and how much that would cost. The manager told him $110 for the color and$45 for the haircut and blow-dry. Total price for those services is $155.My wife who is Thai had her hair done at Bravo Salon. I was with her during the explanation of what we wanted done. The hair stylist Stephanie looked at her hair for several minutes. We showed her a picture of what we wanted. She then told us that it was not recommended because it would wash out after 3 or 4 washes. The picture shown to the stylist was for silver/grey hair. It is correct that the stylist did not recommend that color because the toners used to create that look wash out fairly soon, and it would be more expense to reach that color with extraction. In addition, due to the color of my wife's hair (medium to darker brown at the roots), she would need to bleach it first to remove the darker color. Complainant admits in this statement that the stylist told him bleaching was required to lift his wife's hair color. This is not a free service. Prices are clearly posted on our website.Color extractions (bleaching) start at $100. In addition, the website clearly indicates that all services are a la carte unless otherwise indicated. Color extraction (Bleaching) is also per application for extracting color, we applied color extraction (Bleaching) 3 times to her hair, twice on her long hair and once on the root area, because color didn’t lift enough because her Asian dark hair was so dark.We then went with another color that was closer to her natural color.Bravo Salon disputes this claim. The client's natural hair color is considered to be a level 2 Dark brown; the desired color chosen by the client was a level 8—medium Blonde a difference of six levels requiring lifting through the color extraction process just as the silver color would have demanded even a higher scale of 11, which mean more extraction process, and more time. She never discussed anything about bleaching being necessary which seemed normal since we didn't go with the option that required this.Bravo Salon disputes this claim. The stylist did, in fact, reiterate that lifting the current color would be necessary to achieve the desired color, and maybe more than once to client. When I went to pick my up wife after she got done, I was told that it was a little harder than expected.Due to the client's resistant dark brown hair level 2 , two lightening treatments on longhair, and 1 time on roots, were required to lift her color to the necessary level to proceed with the desired color application. The complainant was only charged for one lightening treatment, despite his wife receiving three lightening extracting treatments, also we didn’t charge for the long hair, which also is a separate charge twice. She then explained to me that she had to bleach the top of her hair. This made no sense because we didn't choose the first style because of this fact. And why would the stylist not be able to realize that the color chosen would need to be bleached as well after evaluating her? Again, Bravo Salon disputes this claim as the bleaching discussion occurred in the initial consultation. My wife is not very fluent in the language and I feel that they took advantage of this and charged for unnecessary procedures. The stylist finds it odd that the complainant says his wife isn't fluent in English as the two of them had extensive conversation throughout her service, including details of her life in Thailand, occupations and profession, her age, and other were present to hear her speaking English clearly, as well as other converations over 4 hours, etc. It is evident that English is not her first language, but she communicates very well. When the stylist let her know once again that the bleaching process would cost more, she gave her consent. As an adult, 35 years old she is presumed competent to make decisions for herself. We understand that the husband is unhappy with charges, however we didn’t even apply all the work we did over 4 hours of service. They told me that they discussed this with her and told her it would be a little bit more. My wife verified that they never told her specifically that it would $100 more. They also didn't deny this either.Bravo Salon concedes that the exact amount of the extraction was not discussed because at the time, the stylist had no idea how many times she would have to perform the procedure. As it is billed by the occurrence, the ultimate price was not known at that time. The cut was about $45.The coloring was $110.  The bleach was $100. So what this business is stating is that $100 dollars is a "little bit more" than $110?!Bravo Salon disputes this claim. As our credit card and in-house computer records reveal, the client and complainant were charged as follows: Haircut: $35, full color: $110, Color extraction $100, COUPON: discount $25. Complainant left out of his statement that he was not charged full price for the haircut and was given a $25 discount as first-time clients.Additionally, as the bleaching process was done three times, he was effectively given another discount of $200 on that service as well, as well as not being charged $25 additionally for long hair, we charge by each service for long hair, so it would have been a additional charge of $50 While the initial quote given over the phone for full color and a haircut was $155, the actual charges submitted by Bravo Salon to complainant for those services and a color extraction(valued at $200) was $215, a difference of $60. This figure does not include his 6% tip of$15.Bravo Salon takes extreme umbrage to the assertion by the complainant that our business practices are "unethical." It is not unusual for clients to agree to services without knowing the prices--they trust their stylists to make recommendations that are necessary and beneficial--so the stylist was not operating under a devious, deliberate cloud of deception;she was simply working to achieve the results her client requested and gained approval and consent prior to performing services on her client. In addition, not only was the complainant informed during the consultation that bleaching would be necessary, but his wife gave her consent to the stylist after he left her in the salon by herself. If he was so concerned about her inability to communicate in English, perhap she should have remained by her side in case of unforeseen events. As she and the stylist had an ongoing conversation in English about a variety of subjects, however, the stylist had no reason to believe the client was incompetent to agree to services, she is a competent aware adult. We were not unaware that the charges would be of significance, so attempted to mitigate the expense where we could, including under-charging for both the haircut and the 2 additonal extraction services $200, and long hair charge $25 giving the $25 First Time Client discount, which amounted to $250 additional discounts, that we did not charge for.Gratuities are always voluntary, so we agree that as complainant is dissatisfied with the experience and wants the $15 back, he should have it.As for the services charges, Bravo Salon maintains that as not only was complainant undercharged amount of $250 for his wife's services but also as additional discounts were offered, we will be satisfied with the $60 difference complainant paid to give that back plus tip of $15 and not pursue him for the amount the services actually cost, as long as he takes down his bad review on google prior to collection in person, and not pursue any further bashing of our business, than if so he does we will pursue additional charges of $250 plus the additional $60. I have NO Problem with attorneys, I have them of my own, and attorneys fees for restitution.

[redacted] has been a great partner in my business. The camera system he installed for me is state of the art and easy to operate.
