After weeks of research and many great reviews with Eagle Home Improvements,LLC,I decided to call Eddie the owner of Eagle Home Improvement and he meet with me and that week he had a crew there on time on the scheduled date and they had completed the installation of my roof the very same day The clean up was impeccable as well I would absolutely recommend the to my family and friends

Was initially satisfied with the work, I mentioned to a worker the two end corners were raised a little and was told not to worry they would settle down, so I didn't worryhe pressured me to write a review and I decided to wait awhile to see if any problems aroseyears later and those ends are still raised and there are now birds nesting under the roofWe contacted Eddie by email and also left a voice mailHe had guaranteed his work for years (part of the reason we chose him) so we wanted him to come take a lookWe received no response from him so after a week I called again and he answeredHe was pleasant but was trying to convince me it was my siding or gutters that was the problemI told him I wanted him to come take a look he recommended we call an exterminator they would be able to tell us how they got in and would get there sooner then he couldThe exterminator said there were large gaps along the roof line and that there was no drip edge installed and also the paper was barely tacked downHe gave us an estimate to remove birds and fix but recommended since the roofer guaranteed his work we should really try and contact himEddie had instructed me to text him, so I did explaining what the exterminator told usAgain no responseAfter several days we called him and he answered the phone and told us the exterminator didn't know what he was talking aboutWhat was most infuriating about this conversation was the extent he argued with my husband without ever having come to look at the problem.He was the one who suggested we call the exterminator and when he didn't like what he said he completely back trackedi have no idea why this man guarantees his work......I could tell he didn't remember the job or bother to look up the details of the work he didi could have understood his argument had he just replaced my shinglesBut he replaced the board and the gaps are where the board attaches to the houseThere are inch gaps between the board and the beam and the shingles are lifted and hang straight outyou can see from street levelAfter arguing with my husband and me threatening to write him a bad review he agreed to come look (for the second time) Well, he never came to look and never called or texted backI texted him more times asking him to please come look by Friday and explaining what had us most upset was his lack of communicationI don't expect every job to be perfect but at least come look before you argue with me that its not your faulthe has never once called,texted, or emailed back and that is why I am writing this reviewWe have no other problems with the roof, no leaks or anything like that but we have now had people come look at the roof and all have said he should come fix it, it was his errorI'm sure Eddie will have some response but I'm not sure how he could when he never even entertained the idea of seeing the work that I'm talking about

finally were able to find the invoice.  I faxed the invoice to the Toms River city hall today, and called to verify they received it.  They said they did receive the invoice and will  complete the permit on Monday.  I left a message for [redacted] and told him the results.  This case is finally resolved.
This is the first time we needed a copy of the dumpster receipt to complete a permit.  All the other 378 jobs we completed, the town never asked for one.

Review: Our roof was removed and replace by Eagle Home Improvement on 8/20/13 - 8/21/13. The roof was done according to contract and we have no issues at this time with that work. However, the gutters were relined in rubber and trimmed in aluminum as contracted. Nonetheless, said aluminum trim is causing water to catch on the unsecured trim, ride over the edge of the gutter, and pour over my kitchen window during times of rain. The trim was overlapped contrary to the natural flow of the water in the gutter and is causing the water to catch on the seam joining the overlapping aluminum and ride over the edge, down my exterior siding, and flow directly over my kitchen window and onto my exterior window sill causing water to pool which will eventually cause damage to the window. My husband and I have contacted [redacted]. of Eagle Home Improvement on several occasions to no avail. [redacted] said he sent someone out to look at the gutter and the person saw no problem, but we have not seen anyone come over and had not yet shown Eddie which seam was causing the problem. We contacted him again at the beginning of this week asking why no one had come by to fix the gutter and [redacted] again said he would send someone over to check it out. We asked that the person he sent ring the doorbell so that we could show them the problem, and acknowledge their arrival, no one has come by to date. We paid him $6700+ to fix the roof and the gutter in good faith, and would like the job completed without causing any additional damage to our home. I feel this is an easy fix if he would just come by or send someone over to resolve the problem as it is a mere matter of a few pieces of aluminum trim and we would be content.Desired Settlement: I am asking that Eagle Home Improvement repair their error, replace or seal the seams and stop the water from flowing over my window. My only other option is to have a another contactor come and repair his error and have Eagle Home Improvement pay for the repair, if they cannot come out to make the necessary repairs themselves, as the constant water pouring over the kitchen window is causing immediate damage to the window at this time.

I am responding to a small complaint from one of our customers:

The complaint was that there was a small piece of gutter that she wanted us to come back to fix. We went back, fixed the gutter, and asked if she was satisfied with the repair. Mrs [redacted] said she was, and was very happy with the new roof we put on. I asked is she would call the Revdex.com and tell them that we repaired the gutter, but I am no sure that she called you.

I am rejecting this response because:

First and foremost, I never spoke to [redacted], I spoke to several repairmen who showed up at my home unannounced ready to cut a hole in my gutters to fix something that had nothing to do with my situation. I asked them to leave my property and soon after received a call from [redacted] who called my husband, made an appointment to come take a look at the problem himself and then never showed up. He did eventually show up three days later, realized the mess his repairmen had made, chewed them out for it very unprofessionally, argued with my husband for an hour and finally got up on the ladder himself and repaired the gutter.

Unfortunately, we have not had a heavy rain since the repair and I am unable to tell you whether or not the repair worked as it is a problem with rain pouring into my window during periods of heavy rain. [redacted] did advise that once we were able to see it under true rain conditions, should we have any problems, he would come back out, however it is his inability to keep his word on returning to correct issues that forced us to contact the Revdex.com. At this point we are satisfied with the repair, we await heavy rains to see if it fixed the problem at hand and I am comfortable with the closure of the complaint.

Should the problem not be fixed and we are unable to resolve with Eagle, we will open another complaint at said time.
