We recently moved from San Francisco to San Leandro and had a great experience with Eagle moving and storage, from the beginning to end
To start with, their website is is sleek and clear When we called for a quote, they responded quickly and were really willing to work with us We got a great price which even included moving my piano I was initially nervous to use someone who was not a specific piano mover, but they treated it with care and moved it easily
The guys, ***, ***, *** and ***, showed up right on time (actually a few minutes early!) and were friendly, efficient, professional, and communicative We had a good time joking around with them and they worked very quickly When we offered them water and some snacks they were incredibly gracious and thanked us over and over
We would use them again in a heartbeat and highly recommend Eagle moving and storage !!

I have had outstanding moves with these movers They were very easy to work with, extremely helpful, and very competitive re: rates I can't say enough good things about this company and unequivocally recommend them!!

Used those folks for my last move
3 bedroom house from San Jose , to The Marina in SF .
estimate was great, the crew was excellent ,
hope we never need a movers again, but if we do, eagle moving and storage are my favorite company by far.

Best-in-class experience! I would give Eagle Moving And Storage 10 stars. We moved from San Francisco to Dallas Tx over these last two days and the experience exceeded all expectations. Avi and his team of [redacted] are pure professionals. Great to work with from the start of our move through the truck leaving the drop off. All of our items were handled with care and moved with zero issues. Our piano - arrived in perfect condition - and it was quite a task. Simply amazing.
The beginning of our great experience actually started with [redacted] who came to quote , he worked with me on refining my quote, followed-up numerous times and was never frazzled. I quoted three highly rated companies and [redacted] was the only one to follow up after the estimate.
To add to the experience the dispatcher double checked all information and confirmed timing that were met on both pick up and drop off.
Again, truly amazing!

regard the claim , any damage that we done, I take responsibility , I never run away from that, that why we have such a great record every where .
regard a documents from a claim, sir, I transfer all the information you give me to a claim department, what I got from them is just an email what to pay you. witch is a 270$ .

well part of why I didnt want to help the person at all, its because half of what mr [redacted] say its not true.
for example delivery time. in our order, its clearly say 7-21 business days witch can take 25 days. ...

I did offer the client a straight delivery witch take 2 days, but the client didnt want to pay for that. there is not much I could do. and at the end I didnt want him to wait any longer, I rent a private truck to delivery , just for him not wait any longer.
second, me not reply ? really? I have a record of 10 emails , informing the clients, giving updates, I am sorry I didnt got to talk on the phone, but I email him almost every 2 days. so that another lie.
third, me talking to [redacted]? I did not called not even ones to [redacted]. not even ones, I have no idea where is that info got to him, but its a lie, of him, or [redacted] lie to him and the client lie on the net.
forth when a client want to discus about the service , if he is not happy, he should call, but I figured when a client going on line just to post some bad feedback, he expecting me to call with an offer for money back. so next time, you can call and file a compliant with us, Yelp or any website that you try to black mail, will not help.
regard the estimate, the estimate I give the client was based on what the client wife say she is going to take. how ever, and I have her on video taped, many items that she say are not going, they decide to take, and the estimate is based by wight . that why the client got more wight then he expect . with all the respect, if a client have more, he need to pay. that why its called estimate. the estimate was not a set price. it was an Estimate . I am willing to work on result that , with some help of him, I will not even start working to help him, after he post the review on yelp! when those things will come down, I will start working on a claim, other wise. good luck .

I am still dissatisfied with this business. The owner's reply above is a really objective example. His tone is hostile, does nothing to defuse the tension of the situation and generally calls the customer a liar (and he can't spell).
Let's check a few of these 'Lies' one at a time.
1. Delivery up to twenty five days: Delivery was on twenty-six and that after I had to email and call to create a sense of urgency.
2. Whether the handler, [redacted] was shouting at the owner or not (not my concern), the handlers conduct was unprofessional. The owner would have been better to acknowledge that then dwell on on calling the customer a liar (again, poor conflict management).
3. Boycotting resolution to a customers complaint because it is online is childish in this day and age. Feedback is feedback regardless of who can see it. Good customer service starts with the business (they're the ones getting paid after all). What the owner of Eagle has done is exactly the kind of 'force-play' that is the opposite of good customer service and should be reflected by a loss of trust in the market place.
The owner really glossed over the remainder of my original thirteen issues.
It is regrettable that Eagle's taken this personally, but a business owner must be able to keep their cool when a customer provides feedback.
Additional feedback based on this exchange: Take a customer service course - it will change your life. Also, take an English course as every word you misspell undermines your professional image.

Well its not about keep them cool. Not at all, first to start , its clearly for me that you just looking to make money .
When a client have a compline , 99% we always helping our client and try to do our best to make out client happy, either if we need to loose money. Some time you have no choice, we care for every one of our client.
However, we will not know if a client not happy , if he will not call and let us know.
Sure every one have a freedom of speech , if its true, regard your review? Sound like more that you have a problem with me and not the company .
But its fine. I can do as much as I can do. I am the one who sent you a private truck to make sure you have the items there for the baby. I could hold and wait another few days till a carrier coming and I will not loose money. But I didn't. I want it you to receive your items.
About my English? Oh please. What is that to do with that? Its not your issue , take care of your issues , you sound like you have a lot.
Regular process of a claim is, when you call us, we sent you a claim form right away, you send us back, and we taking care of that right away. Here, you didn't give us a chance, you attack just for getting money back.
I was taking the whole warehouse yesterday out side, to look for those items you claimed are missing, first , the microwave , it was on the truck, I saw on the cameras I have at the warehouse, we load it on the truck.
And regard the pillows, I didn't see any, as far as I know, its have to be a side pillows, the one that on the sofa, we always cover as a one unit .
Missing items and or damages we sent a client a claim form and we take care of that .
Regard the estimate, there is not much I can do, long distance move is based on weight , and the estimate I have here is based of the items your wife say she is taking. I have it all on a video . if there is items that was not supposed to go, and they did, so sure it will cost more.
And officially late one day . sorry for that. I try my best. I did offer you guys the direct delivery, it was just going direct to your place sir.
My offer to resolve that all is 400 $ , 100 for the one day late.
300 for the rest, like you know, out insurance is basic .60 cents a pound, that why.

Let's just close this out with no further action. I don't accept the business's proposed solution as $400 isn't worth being the target of this business's accusatory and hostile demeanor.
From the start, I'd have been happy just to have any acknowledgement of my concerns rather than denials and insults. A simple 'sorry' would have gone a long way towards repairing this relationship rather than cementing my original negative impression.

I don't usually leave feedback but had to for Eagle moving and storage . After several searches for a moving company, Eagle Moving offered us the best quotation. They arrived On time . The "Buena Vista" Crew got our furniture out in less than an hour. Wrapped all the furniture, disassembled our bed and re set up everything in our new
Home within another hour. They arrived around 9am and completed everything a little before noon. Amazing guys and def will use them again for any future move. Thanks again for all the hard work!

From start to finish our experience was Ah-Mazing! Seriously, in our 5 City moves, we have never used a moving company before kids, but with all their stuff, we just couldn't bare doing it.check them out on the Revdex.com website ,then went on [redacted], found some great reviews and I confess they were the only company I called and I was sold.

[redacted] the owner work with us directly and everything he said was true. Good team of guys, careful, thoughtful, efficient, friendly and strong. A formula for a great experience. Almost 6 hours of packing, moving and unpacking made the rest of our day in our new home a breeze. We felt like we had been living here for years, not just hours.

We are so pleased with our experience. Thank you Eagle moving and storage for handling our most intimate things and helping our emotional move be just a bit easier!!

Eagle moving and storage is the best!
I knew about them from when I lived in San Jose , CA a few years ago- they are a highly reputable company with a long history of being awesome movers.
When I was looking to move this year- I was so excited to see that they have a Locations all over the Bay area .
Joey is the man running the show and he awesome. I spoke to him on the phone and he walked me through everything, from insurance to how the day would go to a fair estimate.
On the big day- a three man crew showed up and were friendly, efficient, super hard working, careful with my stuff and made me feel right at ease.
There was not hidden cost and they managed to turn a stressful day into a pleasant experience. I cannot recommend Eagle moving and storage enough.
They have a lot of experience and are just good solid folks who know what they are doing.

First time hiring a legit moving company rather than counting on friends and am SO glad I did! From when I requested a quote to dropping off the last box, the folks at Eagle moving and storage were courteous, prompt and responsive. I moved ~10 blocks within San Jose and the move took around 4 hours which is exactly what they had estimated. There were no hidden costs or anything.

Boxes: [redacted] was great in scheduling the Boxes to be delivered and picked up prior to and after our move was finished. Note: they only pick up/drop off on Tues and Sat. At $3.50 a bOx (and $12 delivery/pickup charge), it saved us the hassle of scouring for and buying boxes at the store .

Communication: [redacted] was awesome. He followed up 2 days before the move to let us know that we were still on schedule. He texted the morning of to let us know that they were on their way and also midway through to make sure everything was going well! Amazing.

Movers: [redacted] and team were great and fast. They wrapped/boxed up our tv, mirrors, tables and taped up all the drawers. Nothing broke! Fantastic!!

They take credit card too which was great! We ended up tipping $10 per person per hour.

I hope I never have to move again, but when I do, I'll be calling them.

I called Eagle moving and storage on Monday afternoon, needing help move some heavy items to my new house in [redacted] . Being at the end of the month I figured I would have a hard time booking a moving company. After discussing what I needed done, [redacted] told me he could fit me in on Wednesday between 2-6 PM. He told me what the charge would be and I was surprised, expecting to get hit with a higher cost when they got to my home. Wednesday at noon I got a Call from [redacted] telling me time changed to 1:30 PM. About 30 minutes before the time window , I got a call from [redacted] say they were on the way. [redacted] , [redacted] and [redacted] showed up, looked around and started moving item into the truck, completely loaded in 2 hours. Drove to the new house, unloaded in 1 hour, would have been done sooner but due to a odd staircase it took a little longer. These guys were totally professional and worked quickly and hard. I had no problem tipping these guys. I will definitely use Eagle Moving And storage
