Eagle Plumbing Repairs & Drain Cleaning Reviews (14)

Review: My husband and I just moved into a house in LA. Within a week the hot water heater went out. I am heavily pregnant and due at the end of September so fixing this issue was a must. I first had my neighbor look at it and he determined that the thermacoupling needed to be changed but he didn't repair water heaters and suggested we have it professionally done. We called Eagle Plumbing to come out, my husband spoke with them. They told him that it would be $65 for them to come out and assess the problem and if we agreed to charges, the $65 would go towards the cost of parts and labor. We scheduled them to come out. My husband was at work but had relayed all the information to me, i.e. how much the service fee would be. The man came out, literally tested it for less than a minute and told me what I already knew, that the thermacoupling needed to be replaced. He said that replacing that part wouldn't mean another part wouldn't give out later and suggested I replace the entire water heater. I asked him how much Eagle Plumbing would charge for something like that and he gave me a price of $1400. I declined and he said ok and began writing up an invoice. The invoice DID NOT say $65 as they had said on the phone but was now $190. I asked him why and he said that was the "assessment fee" so I asked then what was the $65 for and he told me it was for the "drive out there". I paid him not wanting to argue but I told my husband to call and speak with the manager who said his actions was justified and only brought it down to $115. So I called again with a fake address and the operator told me the same thing. It would be $65 to come out and I made sure and ask to verify that if I declined, if I would only be charged $65 and ONLY $65 and she confirmed. So I'm trying to figure out why we were charged and additional fee when no work was performed.Desired Settlement: I am willing to pay the $65 service charge that we agreed upon because it's only fair but anything else, I would like a refund.

Dear Revdex.com,I talked to Mr. [redacted] yesterday about his concerns and explained to him tat I would contact him once I have a talk with the technician to get his side of the story and I told him that I would give him a call back after the conversation, however due to meetings today I haven't had an opportunity to call him back so therefore my office staff called and offered a discounted rate. I noticed after the discount was given the customer still was not satisfied and proceeded to write a complaint after they agreed to the charges. I don't know where the mix up in communication happened, but I will talk to my staff to better our communication efforts. I've already instructed my office to give a refund to the customer. Thanks

Review: Toilet clogged. Company came out on August 11, and said they unclogged the toilet. I left for vacation and returned on Aug 26 to find the toilet had actually not been unclogged. Toilet had not been used. [redacted], the owner said there was no warranty on the 'snaking' of the pipe, and would not come out again to snake the pipe at no charge. Paid $225.00 for nothing.Desired Settlement: refund of $225 or company to come out and snake the pipe again to unclog.

Response:

Dear Revdex.com,

We went out to Mr. [redacted]'s earlier this month to unclog his main sewer line, we gave him a price of $310.00 to unclog his main sewer line through a pulled toilet. Mr. [redacted]'s explained to the technician that he would remove the toilet and he just wanted us to unclog the sewer line and we proceeded to give him a price of $225.00 to unclog the main sewer line, he agreed and we proceeded with unstopping the main sewer line. When the technician completed the job he did not give Mr. [redacted] a warranty due to abuse of the sewer drain which he pulled out a lot of baby wipes, Mr. [redacted] agreed with the decision of the technician with a signature on the invoice. Mr. [redacted] called our company today and I talk to him about his complaint as well as [redacted] and we offered to come back out today to unclog his line at no additional charge although technically he did not have a warranty, Mr. [redacted] mentioned to me as well as [redacted] that he want our company to remove the toilet this time and I explained to him that we were not responsible to remove the toilet due to the fact that he removed the toilet from the initial service call. He explained to me that he was going to call us back and he was going to have his own plumber supervise our company when we come out to do the job while we unclog the sewer. We did not receive another call and he sent this email to you all. I also have the original invoice of the agreement between our company and Mr. [redacted]. For some strange reason I feel that Mr. [redacted]'s sewer pipe may possibly have a bigger problem because he mentioned to [redacted] that he was going to have his plumber supervise our company because, "how would he know whether or not if our equipment would damage his sewer pipe". I tried to make Mr. [redacted] happy as I explained to him earlier today, but to my understanding he is not happy because he feels as if we should remove his toilet as well even though we did not move it before.

Thanks for your consideration,

Review: On 5/1/16 I had Eagle Plumbing replace a hot water heater using our home service warranty. The two men sent to my home did not have any respect for my home.

1. Mud was drug through my home.

2. Upon removing my old water heater, water leaked under my belongings and through plywood, insulation, and ceiling leaving 3 large yellow water spots.

3. They placed my new hot water heater in a drip pan that still had 1/4 inch of water left from the previous water heater.

4. They overcharged for the hot water heater from Home Depot. Same Make/Model that cost $394.00 they charged me $575.89

I filed a complaint to their answering service same day and was informed someone would contact me on Monday 5/2/16, yet I did not receive a call.

Tuesday 5/3/16 I called again. Charles the supervisor took my call upon explanation of what happened he told me that the home warranty knows that they over charge for the water heater and that they built in the cost for picking it up from Home Depot. Yet there was a separate labor charge for $1,175.00. Also that the mud wasn't a big deal, and they got out as much water from the drip pan as they could... He asked me to send pictures of the ceiling and he would make a return call to me after receiving them.

6 days later no return call (Monday 5/9/16) so I called again. Charles returned my call, and went on to explain how the technicians did not lay the old water heater down, that it was leaking from the side, etc. When I told him that it didn't matter how it happened that my ceiling was still damaged, he proceeded to say "all it needs is a coat of paint". I explained that during the service my ceiling was damage and that I wanted it fixed. after arguing on the the phone back and forth the only solution he would offer was to have "someone" scheduled to come paint it. When I told him I did not want a plumber to paint my ceiling he proceeded to tell me that he was not paying to have someone fix my ceiling, that he would have someone go to Home Depot pick up paint to paint it.Desired Settlement: Repair by a license/insured painter

Response:

Dear Revdex.com,I contacted Mrs. [redacted] to address her complaint when she initially called to complain and I told her when I was able to gather more information from the technicians I would call her back. She instead called today insisting that our company get a licensed painter to paint the 3 stains on her ceiling all while yelling at me on the phone, I explained to her that I did not understand why she was asking for a licensed painter considering that her husband stepped into the ceiling and put a hole in the ceiling which had to be repaired she continued with saying she did not care. As far as the water heater having a mark up that is not an uncommon practice. Mrs. [redacted] failed to mentioned that it was emergency service and we had 2 technicians at her house on a Sunday afternoon to take care of this water heater that was leaking from the tank that could have burst. Mrs. [redacted]'s home warranty company paid for the services which we sat on the phone with them to assure that it would be covered through the home warranty company so that Mr & Mrs. [redacted] would not have to come out of pocket for the installation. Also, Mrs. [redacted] failed to mention that we talked to Mr. [redacted] about the water leaking from the water heater onto the studs which wet the sheet rock and causing the stain on the sheet rock and we explained that it was unavoidable due to the water heater being bust on the side. I offered for our company to paint the spots on Mrs. [redacted]'s sheet rock, but I believe that Mrs. [redacted] wanted our company to get the sheet rock repaired where her husband step into the sheet rock and put a hole in the ceiling because otherwise I do not see what the problem is considering the level of service we provided. I don't understand why Mrs. [redacted] is discussing prices when our company agreed upon pricing with the warranty company and the warranty company understood that the would was being done on a Sunday afternoon and they also understood the mark up.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID 11437199, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

Before I had even contacted Revdex.com about my experience with Eagle Plumbing I spoke with Charles and informed him that I wanted a licensed/professional painter to paint the 3 spots on my ceiling. He informed me that what I was asking would not happen. He stated that he would send out "someone" to paint the spots, but he would not pay for another company to come out to paint the damage caused by his workers. It is unclear in his vague response of whether he is now stating he will pay for a professional/licensed painter, not associated with Eagle Plumbing, to paint the damage caused or if he will send out this "someone" from his company who will again do an inferior job.I do not want anyone associated with Eagle Plumbing to return to my home.

Review: I was out of the country on 4/18/14, my wife called eagle plumbing to come due to a stopped up line to the septic system , eagle came my home, my said they were here approx 20 minutes removed several wipes from the septic tank line and charged my wife 420.00 dollars , I have cleared these clogs before because I have a handicap daughter who puts wipes in the toilet , I am not a plumber and these clogs have been quite easy to clear , no equipment needed, I am a electrical contractor and I charge 60 dollars an hour , and would never go to someones home and charge such a horrendous rate , I feel like I was robbed by this company.Desired Settlement: I think at most this service was worth 100 dollars and I should be refunded my money back

Response:

Dear Revdex.com,

Review: On Easter day my tenant called me and stated that the kitchen sink was backed up. I called Eagle plumbing out to clear the drain. The plumber advised me that he was unable to clear the drain because it was caused by roots in the line approximately 50 feet from the kitchen sink line. He stated the roots were in the front yard near the street. I have 3 drain lines that merge into one before reaching the front yard and the other 2 drained fine, with only the kitchen not draining. When I asked the plumber how this could be he stated he didn't know but it would cost upwards of $7000.00 to repair. He left with my drain still not working. Before spending $7000.00 on a repair I decided to call for a second opinion. The new plumber cleared a blockage just beyond the sink and the drain works well. I called to discuss the issue with Eagle 3 times and have yet to speak with management. They refuse to return my call. I found them on Facebook and posted and posted a comment on one of their pictures to see if that would prompt them to call me. They posted that discussed my issue in the office and would call me the following day. StI'll no call and they disabled the comment function on their Facebook account.Desired Settlement: The plumber who came to my house misdiagnosed my problem and attempted to sell me a $7000.00 repair that would jot have solved my issue. The visit cost me $295.00 and I still had pay $200.00 to have another plumber actually clear the clog. I would like either a full refund or to be compensated $200.00 I had to spend to fix their oversight.

Response:

Dear Revdex.com, We sent our technician Robert over to Mr. [redacted] rental property @ [redacted]5 on 3/28/2015 to unclog a kitchen sink drain line, and after hours of cabling the line to get it open [redacted] stated that he pulled roots out of the line and after that he went even further to investigate the situation and discovered that the pipe had spray foam in it. Robert called Mr. [redacted] and explained everything that was happening over there, I'm not sure of any estimated cost to repair the line that was given. Mr. [redacted] called a few weeks later requesting to get reimbursed for the pipe being repaired by another plumber. I feel that it's unfair that we went out there sent a lot of time to fix Mr. [redacted] plumbing problem which he had bigger problems that we informed him of and yet he doesn't feel that we should get paid for our time to tell him what was wrong with his plumbing.

very disappointed. I called on a Saturday and was told $65.00 to come out. I assumed that the price for services were 65 per hour. Never the less. I specifically asked if weekend rates were higher and was told "No". So, I requested someone to come out. when the tech came out he greeted me pleasantly. I explained that I needed the drain pipes to align with a new apron undermount farm sink I had installed. And a very "simple" garbage disposal installed. (that with instructions, I could have accomplished myself had I had the correct drain configuration that accommodated my new sink drain holes). So, I am thinking around $200 ish and a few change. This man quoted me $700 to cut away drainpipes and install new ones and attach a garbage disposal (with NO dishwasher connections). Simple. I am sorry I believe because I was a female the price was padded. I had two other people that quoted me far less than that. The only reason I did not get them is one didn't show up and the other plumber was booked. I had a scheduled (35yr experienced) Plummer that charged $95 per hour specifically advise me that, after looking at the photos or everything that Eagle Tech observed, that that was NOT a major job and it would only take about 1hr and 30 minutes, 2hr at the most to complete the job. Which would have put my bill around $200 and change. Now, with that being said, even if Eagle charged $65 per hour $700 per hour that is 10hrs worth of work. Ridiculous insane. WOW. Then he proceeds outside to claim to call his boss for a price reduction to $500 and came by inside and said he didn't answer. I don't believe that. Cause when he came back in he had his phone with the payment attachment for credit cards. And another thing I DID NOT like is the fact, after looking at the receipt he left. the company takes checks and he told me cash, credit or debits cards only. Which makes me feel now that I wasn't trustworthy to write a check, wow. Then he changed the price to $603 I see is what he wrote it up for. Let's get this straight. He was charging $225 to install a garbage disposal, $100 more than most companies contacted for single estimation of jobs. even at $65.00 per hour that 3hrs worth or work. Insane. It does not take that long to install a brand new disposal with three parts. $378 to remove and install new drain pipes. At the very least all he had to do was cut off the new one. and install new pipes. It doesn't take a rocket science to do that. I understand that this is a business and they have fees, But I really think this is very very excessive charges. And everyone I told this too agreed. Had this been a job worth that much money, I had no problem paying for it. Cause I can more than afford it. It is just the principle of the matter, where I felt that he was trying to take advantage of me because I was a female, but what he did not know. I have friends that are contractors and I am very resourceful woman who researches everything before I make a move. I also did not like the fact that when he tried to justify his high charges he had the nerve to insult my intelligence and said "well you know this is the weekend and the charges are different." that is NOT what I was told when I called to get information. Was not very impressed with this situation at all. I was happy to pay him the $65 just to get him out of my house with those ridiculous insane prices!!!! I maybe a female but I wasn't that stupid to fall for that trap. Needless to say I would NEVER be calling them AGAIN!!!! Prices ARE NOT Reasonable, they are ridiculous and based on who you are and what your surroundings look like. Yes I have a very expensive kitchen remolding with top of the line expensive stones and custom build cabinets and appliances, but I didn't get all that by being charge unfair prices!!!! And the plumber is no exception, He wasn't going to hustle me out of my money either. it's just a shame that you can't get honest prices these days. I wasn't the one to try this on I can assure you of that!!! And I am not bashing this company either, I am just speaking the truth of what happened and my opinion about it.

Review: The lever on the tub to drain the water was stuck. Plumber said it would be around $300 for a 2 hr job. I said no too much than he said $200. When I told him I just saw the video on line how to fix it and it took 2 minutes he agreed on $140. He took about 5 min and came out and said it was fixed but he didn't put a new one in because he said I told him I couldn't afford over $140. (the part is around $12.00 at Home Depot)I paid him and the next morning after filling the tub it was still stuck and the water wouldn't drain. I called the office twice and asked for refund and management won't call me back. There are many bad blogs on his web site and had I read them would never have called them. I need my money refunded in order to pay someone to fix this. I called my bank and the check had been deposited the next morningDesired Settlement: I would like my money refunded. At my age I don't have money to throw away for something that doesn't work.

Dear Revdex.com,We can have the same technician go back out so we can address the customer's concern. We also tried calling Ms. [redacted] to address her problem on 1/19/2016. Also, our technician stated that he explained everything before doing the job which is our company standard and Ms. [redacted] agreed to the pricing on the signed agreement. The technician also stated that tub would not drain due to the tub plunger being stuck, our technician removed the plunger to get the tub draining and was able to get the tub draining. The technician stated that the tub plunger along with the lever still needs replacing which was also explained to the customer, this was also a service done after 5 pm that we offer our customers for their satisfaction at no additional charge.

I do not want anyone from Eagle back to my house. If it was unstopped why didn't it drain the next morning? The part needed to be replaced and I think he should have done that for $140.00 service charge. There is something not right when you come in and say a job is $300.00 and then go down to $140.00 if it was a job for $140.00 why were you trying to charge me $300.00. I have read many blogs on line about Eagle over charging and I do not want them to come back out. I want my money refunded so I can get a repitable plumber to come out and fix it

I did reply already. I said I did not want them to send a plumber to my house as I prefer to get someone else. I felt I was taken advantage of by trying o charge me $ 300.00 and then coming down to $140.00 and it not even being fixed. As far as management saying he tried to call me I have caller ID on my phone at home with a message machine and caller ID at my office which messages go into email and there were no calls from him and that is why I called him twice before writing to Revdex.com.

Bottom line they didn't fix it and tried to over charge..

Dear Revdex.com,The customer understood what she was being charged for, our technicians are trained and we have weekly meetings to discuss certain situations so I'm positive that our technician explained everything clearly as well as gave Ms.[redacted] options. We have the signed invoice with Ms. [redacted] approving the charges and signing for the completion of service.

I am very pleased with the service I received from Alicia and Just L. at Eagle Plumbing. They came without hesitation from Jefferson Parish to Terrebonne Parish for my repair. They were very prompt in responding to my email request (within an hour). We set up the appointment and the tech came out. All aspects of the job were explained to me, a price was given and upon my acceptance of the quote, the job was done! I will use Eagle Plumbing for my plumbing needs in the future.

Review: On 4/6/13, An eagle rep ([redacted]) came to repair a leaking toliet. He removed the toilet, put in a new seal and reset the toilet. We paid $200 to do that and got a 30 day warrenty. Three months later the toilet starting leaking again. He said it could have been a bad seal whcih I challenge a seal only lasting 3 - 4 months and if so he sold me a faulty part. The same rep came out on 8/10/13 and he put a new seal in and left the old one as he said to double seal the commode. I had to pay an additional $135.00 so I also asked for a greater warranty than 30 days so they gave me 60 days. On day one we noticed that the pressure in the toliet was now low and it was taking several flushes to get a bowel movement to flush so on day 7 we called them back out. They said it did not appear to be the seal and would be another charge to fix teh toilet and we must have used too much tiolet paper. This house is a doble with 3 bathrooms and this is the only one giving us troble and it is the least used toilet (in my son's room) and he is not there all the time. I believe it has to do with the way the repair work is beig perfomred and maybe the seal was "again" not installed correctly (and I should not have had to pay agian for labor and the part the second time - they did not even offer a discount) - especially being the second time and doubling up this time. I am not paying this company a third time for a toliet that has yet to be repaired correctly. I am 54 and have never had this many problems with one tiolet in such a short period of time.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund for the second repair so I can locate another plumber to fix it correclty, becasue if they were to offer to fix it again (for no charge but they are ont offering to do that )it would be the third time for them and I no longer trust them, I believe their workmanship to be faulty and their practices to be unfair and dishonest.

Response:

Dear Revdex.com,

On 4/6/2013 [redacted] did go out to replace a wax seal on a leaking toilet for Mr. and Mrs. [redacted]. However, a few months later according to what was explained over the phone was that the toilet was leaking again and I explained that it could be a number of reasons why the toilet was leaking again considering the toilet was not leaking when we left the site after the repair was made. We gave the customer a 60 or 90 day warranty on the repair in the event the toilet leaks again in that time frame we will go back out at no additional charge. The customer warranty was over and they were upset to have to pay us to make the repair again which was discounted. The customer was satisfied until days later the toilet clogged up and I explained that a clogged toilet had nothing to do with a wax seal replacement and explained to Mr. [redacted] that I would sent a technician out to assess the issue. I sent a technician over within a few hours and we offered to unclog his toilet at a discounted rate to make him happy and he declined. I explained to Mr. [redacted] that someone may have used too much toilet tissue or something to clog the toilet and it had nothing to do with a wax seal replacement. Also, the wax seal replacement is still under warranty at this time and if it leaks at this moment we will go out to repair it.

Thanks For Your Consideration,

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

Regards,

What the onwer stated is incorrect - he certainly did not offer to "unclog the toilet at a discounted rate" and as I explained to him and asked, how do we know it is a clogging issue (that is still an assuption on his part) versus it being related to the way the seal was installed and double sealing it. We were also told from the technician that the seals were installed in a different manner the second time (underneath) and I explained that the reason we didn't notice anything on day one is my son did not use the bathroom in the first few days but noticed it slow flushing over the next few days (we called seven days later from the repair). My son used draino, and a plunger several times and when I returned to the house on Friday 8/23/13 I repeated those same steps to no avail (and remember that there was no pressure issue prior to first seal replacement - only a leak, and even when it started leaking again, there was no pressure issue, but all of a sudden after seven days of second repair a new issue surfaces and he is not willing to even say it may have been a workmanship issue. And again to say he offered a discounted price that I declined is not true (I have my son and wife as witnesses) and a slap in the face. In fact when he had teh technician call me back the technician (like he did on his second visit) stated he cannot offer discount prices only the boss can. An additional proof of this is that on teh second visit the technician also noticed a leaking valve in teh tank but it had not affect but they had the parts and would change it. So I asked whathe price would be and the owner stated he would have to charge me as if it were a new request (irrespective of them already being out there) and I'd have to pay ful proice and a new service charge at ~$100 - with no discount. So again this supports the unfairness and untrustworthiness of the owner. I will never use this company again and wil not recommend them to anyone.

Response:

Dear Revdex.com,

We can upload the invoice from the first service call and also the invoice for the service call earlier this month. It seems as if Mr. [redacted] wants multiple repairs done at one low price. We did offer to rebuild his toilet tank at a discounted rate and even at this present time we are still extending the same offer. The wax seal replacement is still under warranty and if it leaks we will gladly take care of it. We can send a technician out to assess the stoppage issue again if Mr. [redacted] would like.

Thanks,

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

Regards,

Why does Mr. [redacted] keep distorting the truth and avoid addressing the issue at hand? How can he say that I want multiple repairs done at one low price? I have paid full price two times and have not been given any discounted price, even for the third time calling him out, and he has not even addressed the fact that they had to replace the seal twice - he hid behind it being out of warranty rather than, as a good business man would do, fix it at least the second time at a reduced cost or for nothing - especially not knowing what caused the first seal to not work. And if it was a bad seal, he did not give me a deal on the second seal and he reused the first seal along with another seal the second time around. Now again he is constantly talking about the seal being under warranty and being silent on workmanship being under warranty as well. So here it is 5 months later with a toilet that still is not working correclty and I am out of pocket $335. Again, now all he is offering is for sending a technician out "to assess" the stoppage issue - not fix it. I want them to fix the toilet period and for what I have paid thus far, $335, I could have bought a new toilet with new parts and had it installed for that amount. I do not believe I am asking something for nothing. Again, I am 54, am abusiness man myself and pride on doing root cause analyses when things don't go right, stand behind my product "and services", have owned and rented multiple houses, having lots of work done, expending thousands of dollars. I have never incurred this type of issue and spent this amount of money without having any resolution in such a short period of time. And in 100% of cases when there were issues, the company / contractor addressed the issue at their cost and fixed it the second time - and there was no third time. Mr. [redacted] was given 2 chances at my expense and still no resolution, and only willing to assess. That is so disappointing and he keeps deflecting it back to me. As I said previously, I do not trust him and he in my opinion is not a good business man.

Response:

Dear Revdex.com,

As before I'm willing to find common ground with Mr. [redacted] even though this is clearly a different problem. I can send a technician over to auger the toilet bowl at a service charge of $65.00 which is a discount for this service. If the problem is beyond the toilet meaning in the sewer drain or a sewer line clog than the customer can be subject to additional charges.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

Regards,

As I suspected, we are still at an impasse. I have contacted three plumbers all of which said if the first seal was installed correctly, it should not have leaked after 3 months and they have never seen a bad seal (which they confirmed that for it to leak in that short period of time it had to be the way it was installed). They also said that normally seal installation should not cause a clog or blockage issue but it cannot be ruled out - again based on workmanship issue. So for Mr. [redacted] to state "this is clearly a different issue" is his belief and hearsay, not conclusive. Again, if I have to pay $65, then I am up to $400 out of pocket - wow - what a discount and the audacity of him to say this would result in common ground. Really? No thanks. So I am presuming this will be the last email and do not wish to converse with Mr. [redacted] anymore, so I prefer you to just post this as a complaint and whenever people ask me for plumber recommendations, you know who I will tell them not to call (In fact I've done that twice already) and I will refer them to this complaint. To Revdex.com - thanks for all your help and timeliness is this - it was sincerely appreciated.

Review: I called Eagle at 3:46 a.m. because my husband discovered a leak that seemed to be coming from behind the wall. We found a large amount of water on the floor in our closet and in the kitchen, so needless to say, we wanted a plumber to come out to see about it right away. When I called, I was greeted by a friendly receptionist who took all of my information and asked me if I wanted to put my request in as a emergency. When I said "yes", she assured me that I should have a plumber come to my house within an hour and that he should call me directly soon. My husband and I anxiously awaited a call from the plumber for over an hour with no response. Finally, I called Eagle back at 4:52 a.m. to check on the status of the call, only to be told that there was no record that I'd made a call. Of course, I was shocked at this. I know I called, as I used "redial" to call them back! When I told the operator this, she repeated that there was no record of my calling earlier. When she asked me for my name, I provided her with my husband's name, which I used to make the original request. To this the operator repeated a third time, with an aggravated tone, that there was no record of my previous call and that I should go ahead and put the request in my name. Frustrated, I simply hung up the phone. With no guarantee that my request would not be "lost" again, I will take my chances on another plumber. An attached screenshot from my phone shows the calls and their duration-the first was 4 min. I am not sure, but I believe that the same young lady answered the phone on both calls! Interestingly enough, when I called both times, I was greeted with a promise of a high level of customer service. The problem is that I do not know if this pipe is going to burst, and so while I was waiting on the "call that did not exist", I could have gotten another 24-hr plumber to get the job done. I think it is outrageous that I put in an emergency call only to be told an hour later that there was "no record" of my call.Desired Settlement: I have no desire to deal with this business moving forward. I just wanted to make sure that others know that this is not who you want to call when you have a plumbing emergency!

Dear Revdex.com,

Review: I called eagle repair to send a plumber out to REPAIR a sink in my bathroom on a Saturday. The plumber came on a Tuesday. He broke the clamp on one of my pipes, did not reassemble the pipe to the sink and left a mess in my house. When my wife asked him was he going to reassemble everything he told to I could do it. I called a plumber because I am not a plumber. He charged my wife $245.00 and we still can't use the sink plus I have to repair the damage he did.Desired Settlement: Their website proclaims: "Our professionals strive to deliver full satisfaction to our customers with our services, if not then we redo the services for free." I want my pipe repaired, reassembled like he found it and the sink reassembled and working. That is what I paid for.

Dear Revdex.com,

Review: Eagle plumbing came out on 6/19/15. We had an issue with our toilets. We explained the problem and what we thought was needed and that our main line was clogged and needed to be opened. V. J[redacted] explained that our problem was something stuck in the toilet and that if he ran a line it would clear it up. He did that and within an hour of him leaving we had the exact same problem. When we called after his repair DIDNOT work they wanted him to come again that day. I had plans and couldn't be home. That was Friday so we had to reschedule for Monday. I was going to give him an opportunity to correct it. However they had to cancelled on Monday and reschedule for Tuesday. At that point I had guests and couldn't have repairs done at that moment. Through this process I had spoken to Ebony. At that point I just asked for a refund of the charge for repairs. The service call was $65 and the total charge was $214. I asked to be refunded $149 as I had agreed to pay a service call of $65 for them to come to my home. I thought that was fair. Ebony stated that Charlie R[redacted] approved this refund. As of 7/9/15 I had not received the fund. I again spoke to ebony and she stated that she personally mailed it and I should have it. Again on 7/16/15 I called again and was told the same thing and that she the check probably got lost in the mail. Again on 7/20/15 I called as I still had not received a refund. Ebony stated she didn't know it was lost in the mail and I requested that Charlie R[redacted] would return my call. Well as of today 8/10/15 I have not received a call from Charlie R[redacted] or a refund from Eagle plumbing. I think I have been fair to this point. I just want this matter settled and my $149 refund that was agreed to and approved by Charlie R[redacted]?Desired Settlement: A refund of $149 as was stated by Ebony and approved by Charlie R[redacted]

Dear Revdex.com,I called Mrs. [redacted] this morning and I did explain to her that I would be willing to mail another check out to her today and she stated that if for whatever reason she receives the other check she would mail it back. I also apologized for taking a while to give her a call personally due to me being out of town busy with meetings although I never ignored her due to me communicating with her through my assistant Ebony. This was also a courtesy due to us willing to resolve her issue and it was her schedule that was really complicated and we agreed to give her a refund although we did work at her house. Check #5307 is the new check that is being mailed out today. Thanks
