I am rejecting this response because: Please note my driver was with me when the notice to the Revdex.com and Google was submitted Further I submit a a cut and paste to you that you provided as a requirement for Eagle Towing to re-reimburse my company You said "I will be more than happy to refund the $when you retract or fix the review you left on our google page. Looking forward to getting this resolved." Retract is to go backwards and say it didn't happen or remove it To fix is to imply it was broken and incorrectSo you did in fact ask me to remove my Google reviewI will add to my review this item however stating that Eagle towing worked with me to refund the money as requested But I can not do that until it is clarified in communication through the Revdex.com between us

Here at Eagle Towing & Recovery, Inc., we strive to exceed in customer service so I am sorry to hear this. When my driver arrived on the scene of the accident, your driver did ask to have the vehicle towed to your place of business. My driver politely informed the officer and your
driver that was on the scene he had another accident that was blocking traffic that he had to respond to first but would be happy to transfer it to your office after that at no extra cost. My driver then offered to drop your driver off at the closest store, off the side of the highway to a safe place and at that point he could remove the critical items related to your business but your driver told him that his boss was coming to pick him up. Your driver that was on the scene with the vehicle was never told he couldn't remove anything We would never just leave anybody on the side of the road. When you called the office the same morning that the accident happened, you were told exactly what was needed in order to remove personal items/inspect or have it removed from our VSF. You told the office that you would print off a VSF-form, get it notarized and would come later that afternoon on the same day. When you arrived, you didn't have the VSF-so we were unable to let you into our vehicle storage facility. On the fourth day, you called and asked for the current charges but did not come for it until the fifth day. Even though we had the vehicle for days, we only charged you for four days. I think it's unfair of you to say my driver was abrupt, rude and did not follow through with what he should have done since you weren't physically on the scene to hear and witness everything personally. You are making your own actuations off second hand informationUnfortunately, we are unable to refund anything since your driver was given the option to have us transfer it your business after he cleared the other accident that was waiting but yet chose to leave the vehicle at our VSF for five days

Please see the attached documents.

Just read another review for this company saying that they take advantage of people in distress and are just out for their money. That is EXACTLY right!
My story:
My wife went to get some tacos from [redacted]’s. After driving around looking for a parking spot for 10-15 minutes, she proceeds to park in the only spot within a mile radius that is available, thinking that since she will be in and out in just a few minutes it will be ok.
She comes out a few minutes later and the car is gone. Turns out it was towed by these guys.
I called the company the car was parked in front of, which the spot was reserved for. They said they did not call the towing company, nor would they have for such a small timeframe. They said that most likely what happened is the towing company was there waiting and watching and pounced at the opportunity when my wife went in to get some food.
What kind of sg company does that? She was there for a few short minutes and had no other option. That’s like getting a ticket for going one mile over the speed limit.
And the price tag? Three. Hundred. Bucks! $300 for parking in the only available parking spot for a few minutes.
I called and spoke to the owner, explaining our financial situation and how we cannot afford the $300. Did he care? No. No empathy. No break. Nothing.
I have searched online for towing rates and there is nothing I can find that would suggest such a tow cost this much. These guys are outlandishly expensive as well as rude, uncaring, and next to impossible to get a hold of. I sincerely hope that over time leaving this review will cost them at least as much as they’ve cost me.
Very upset!

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

You you never asked to remove your review. We simply asked you to correct it. You are absolutely right about reviews being put in place to protect the consumers that had a first hand experience. In your complaint and review on google, you stated it like you were there and witnessed what happen which is not true. You weren't their to know if my driver was rude to your employee and your employee failed to let you know that he was offered a ride to the nearest store so he wouldn't be left on the side of the road and was told he could remove anything and everything out of the vehicle. Your complaint and review is not factual. We offered to refund you everything expect the tow charge but at this point, we feel that it still won't satisfy you.

There must have been a miscommunication on both sides that morning because my driver stated in front of the officer that he would be happy to give him a ride to a safe place and at that point he would be able to remove the critical work related items. But at this point since neither one of us were their to witness it, I will be more than happy to refund the $158.25 when you retract or fix the review you left on our google page.  Looking forward to getting this resolved.

I have attached the final response to Mrs. Elm's rejection along with the map I printed from [redacted] maps of our central office and a copy of [redacted]'s License.
Thank you,

I believe Google reviews are put in place to protect consumers, it offers first hand experiences that will benefit our community.  I am willing to adapt the review to show that the expenses were refunded and further that Eagle Towing met my requests for a partial refund.  However to remove a heart felt review so my team can get a refund would in my opinion reflect poorly on the purpose for contact Revdex.com in the first place.   My hope is that business practices will be adjusted so that future consumers will not have similar issues.  I am stuck on two points.  First as an officer in my company I have to protect my company resources.  Second as a person who must maintain good character and hi moral standards regardless of the outcome.

I am rejecting this response.   I verified with my driver that he was indeed told by your driver that he was not aloud to remove and product from our vehicle.  Further no offer was made to later transfer the vehicle.  I also spoke with the driver over the phone later that day as he was gracious enough to contact me. He confirmed that he did not have time to tow the vehicle to offices. never was there a mention of towing the vehicle to our offices,  either to my driver, or to myself.  In fact the driver told me over the phone once it came back to the impound it was not aloud to leave.  My driver offered to make payment on delivery and it is 'not' acceptable to ignore his request.  This is a bill that should not have been charged.  I felt it was unethical.  I paid the bill over the need to retrieve my vehicle due to a fear  it would be released for any other reason.Further I told the young woman over the phone and in person that since it was a company vehicle and the title was in the company name I had to wait to get a signature from my President in order to show proof of representation.  He was out of Touch for the amount of time it took for me to get to you.   Had the driver responded in a courteous and professional way this would not have been an issue.   Please note I did not ask for compensation for the added time I had to spend on this nor am I asking for the full amount back.   I am happy to pay for the tow.  However I am requesting for the storage and impound fee back that should 'never' been incurred.

Attempted to tow my company truck from a property with limited parking space with new restaurants being established. Parking is a known issue with signage posted regarding towing for people who parks in reserved spaces. I was going to visit the Cedar Park Chamber of Commerce and was parking at that space and walked to Torchy's to pick up a pre-ordered food to bring to the Chamber of Commerce. 5 minutes later, I see Eagle 1 truck starting the process of hitching up my truck and I was not appreciative of that, so I yelled at the driver to stop and unhitch then leave. He did so promptly and I decided to skip going to Chamber of Commerce due to concern this might happen again. I called the Round Rock Office and was hung up on when I attempted to file a complaint. I have notified Cedar Park Chamber of Commerce of this incident and I will file an complaint to TLDR.

I understand your frustration on thismatter. We are always the bad guys when it comes to towing offprivate property. We have strict orders at [redacted] Business Park, which is to tow every vehicle parked on their property that is notconducting business with them. When non-patrons of [redacted] BusinessPark use their parking spaces, then the tenants customer's have nowhere to park. Unfortunately, this is the only way to get theparking situation under control. Since we have been contracted topatrol the parking lot, the tenants have all been pleased because nowinstead of losing business, the customer's are commenting on how muchthe parking has improved. [redacted] has posted the proper signage thathas been approved by both Texas Department of Licensing &Regulation and the Justice of the Peace Court in [redacted]. Oncethe vehicle leaves the property, we can not bring it back. I know itgets really hot during the middle of the day in Texas, but you didn'thave to stand outside with your baby. There are plenty of businessesin that area that you could have waited at inside the A/C to avoidyour baby getting a heat rash. I know you say in your complaint thatyou understand we were just doing our job, and you're exactly right. If we don't do it, somebody else would.
