Eagle Waste & Recycling Reviews (10)

The shingles were rejected for recycling due to other materials mixed in The shingles are hauled to a local company for recycling, not Eagle Waste, therefore we do not have any control over their acceptance protocols Ironically, this is the first time that shingles were rejected due to moss/pine needles etc, therefore we would not have notified the customer of this potential issue Our cost, due to the rejected material, increased by substantially more than the $charge, however, I will accept the offer to split the difference I will credit the customers account $

The Town of [redacted] changed their policy in from what it has been for the last years They did not allow us to operate our small collection vehicle on the Town roads this year The empty weight of our small collection vehicle is approximately 18,pounds and the posted weight limit is 10,pounds.To accommodate our customers, we provided options: We pick up all trash when weight restrictions are removed Eagle Waste will park a truck at a location near our customers location that is not weight restricted, days/week during weight limits Customer can bring trash and recycling to our collection vehicle Customer can bring trash to a company operated drop-off location during weight restrictions at no charge.Between notifications of customers and additional costs to park collection vehicles and collect trash at our drop-off site, our costs to accommodate our customers during road limits exceeds the cost to collect if we were not restricted We have not passed these additional costs onto our customers at this time, nor have we provided optional refunds To rectify this situation, I am willing to refund this customers annual fee and immediately cancel their service

FYI - Complaint was previously responded to by our office manager Customer complaining overpaid for services Customer had automatic withdrawal from his credit card for his quarterly bills Customer canceled service and paid final invoice with a check on 2/24/ Automatic credit card payment for this same service was made on 2/20/ Notice of double payment made to office from customer on 4/3/ Reimbursement check to customer sent on 5/5/Issue resolved days ago [redacted] ***

moss/pine needles etc, therefore we would not have notified the customer of this potential issue.  Our cost, due to the rejected material, increased by substantially more than the $150 charge, however, I will accept the offer to split the difference.  I will credit the customers account $75.

I am sorry and disappointed that after explanations with our customer service department and the same explanation from me in writing through the Revdex.com that the customer is unwilling to believe the facts as presented.  She has continually called us liars and I for one find this very offensive.  I realize after many years in business that I can not make everyone happy, regardless of how hard we try.  As a businessman, I also choose not to work with customers that do not appreciate what we do for them.  Rather than attempting to explain the situation over and over to someone who does not believe us, I am issuing a credit to the customer for 2017 today and discontinuing service. This resolves this issue and we will no longer respond!

[redacted]

Review: We were billed for garbage collection for January thru March 2015 ( $416.97) for an apartment complex we took over management on 1-1-15 ([redacted]--Tomahawk, WI). The bill was sent to the old management company and we did not receive the above bail until it was past due and they were going to discontinue service.

In order to prevent this I gave them our business VISA card info over the phone to pay the bill and continue service. This was done on 2/20/15.

Unknown to me our bookkeeper paid the same bill and amount shortly after my VISA charge--thusly paying the same bill twice.

They have failed miserably to remedy this after multiple calls from me.Desired Settlement: They have been paid twice by us and had told me more than 2 months ago they would send me directly the refund for one payment of $416.97. Have called numerous times and they keep having excuses. Their upper management, including their President, [redacted], doesn't return calls.

Refund requested immediately.
