Review: A contract was written and signed, it was dated to be finished by May 9, 2014. A change was made because of a delay in receiving ordered products to the end of May. I paid full price for services but the work has not been finished. The bathroom is not fully finished, having not installed the heat, and the number of outlets along with a light and the switch for it were never installed. They only covered part of the holes they made for adding new electric and the spackle was left unsanded and unpainted.Desired Settlement: I believe I should get back part of the amount I paid, since all work was not completed and calls made to ask when they were coming to finish were unanswered. I believe I should get back 1/3 of the payment made. I was way overcharged for this work and it was not completed in the time I was told it would be according to a written contract.

July 07, 2014Dear [redacted]:We received your letter concerning the complaint on 6/30/2014 ID [redacted]. In your letter [redacted] states " I was way overcharged for this work and it was not completed in the time I was told it would be according to a written contract" The tile boards [redacted] requested in her bathroom were backordered at that particular time. In all of our contracts under Article 5 Section 10 states "Contractor shall not be liable for any delay due to circumstances beyond its control including strikes, casualty or general unavailability of materials.” The very next day that the material arrived our subcontractors were at her residence installing the tile boards. [redacted] and I walked through the completed project and everything was approved with the exception of an electric baseboard heater that she needed to supply. The original baseboard was too large to install. In our contract under Exhibit A the bathroom drywall had been replaced with tile board. In no other part of Exhibit A were we responsible for painting or sanding of patch work. She is not entitled to a refund only the installation of the electric heater and light and switch in question to be completed. We have not scheduled this installation. We forgave the $16.42 for the extra materials due to installation not preformed. Two weeks ago a message was left to request installation of heater. To our knowledge no messages were left stating that there was a complaint about our work.
