December 29, 2015Dear *** ***,This letter is in response to complaint #***, dated 12/17/15, that you sent via US Mail by a letter dated 12/21/15.The allegation from *** *** ** ***, member # ***, was that he was the winner of the Eagles Club Inc(ECI) daily member book drawing held on
12/12/15.The winning number drawn for 12/12/15, which was conducted at approximately 9:PM, was #***, which is assigned to John DMoore; however, that number does not belong to the complainant *** ** ***,There are indeed two (2) members by the name of *** ** *** and as stated above the complainant's member number is ***This number was not drawn to win the daily member book drawingMember #*** was drawn that evening, but since that *** ** *** did not sign the daily book he was not eligible to win the accumulated proceedings from said book.Also, the complainant, *** ** ***, member #***, did not sign the book with his correct member number*** *** signed with 2015, and although most likely an oversight, he would not have been eligible for the winnings had #*** been drawn because he did not properly sign the drawing bookHowever, member # ***, assigned to the complainant was not drawn.The ECI cannot confirm or deny any personal conversations between the complainant and James M***, ECI President, as the Board of Directors (BOD)was not present during this conversation that complainant alleges occurred two (2) months prior to the complaint at an unknown location off of the club groundsIt is the BOD's understanding that there is a personal relation between the complainant and the Club President that has been described as “stressed” due to personal reasons outside of club operationsThe complainant stated his fiancé is the club president's brother-in-law.Attached to this letter are copies of pages from the daily book dated 12/12/15, which will clearly show that the complainant's member number was not selected and he had not properly signed the member book on the day in question.I have also included copies of printouts of ECI's membership tracking computer program, ***, which clearly depicts two (2) members with the name *** ** ***.Because of these facts the complainant, *** ***, was not paid the daily book winnings of 12/12/15, because he was not the winner or entitled to the winnings.If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to contact me at ###-###-#### (club) or ###-###-#### (personal cellphone).Sincerely,Brian W., Secretary

There are indeed two (2) members by the name of [redacted] and as stated above the complainant's member number is [redacted]. This number was not drawn to win the daily member book drawing. Member #[redacted] was drawn that evening, but since that [redacted] did not sign the daily book he was not eligible to win the accumulated proceedings from said book.
