I am an ex smoker and part of my rehabilitation requires me to chew nicotine gumIn their policy they do not allow that I bring nicotine gum into their venue, this wouldn’t be an issue if I could go to another business however as fans we don’t get to choose what venues our favorite artists play at
I asked them over the phone if they could allow an exception however they said noI asked if they would allow me to if I had a doctors note, they again said no so I asked for their names (the customer service rep and her managers names) and they wouldn’t give them to me
At this time I am unable to attend any shows at this venue because of this

The Rave is probably one of the worst venues in Wisconsin, if not the entire midwestI have had multiple issues with the venue, the host's of the venue, and the security employed by the venueOne of the most recent times I have been harassed and straight up disrespected by The Rave was Safe in Sound, in I had just gotten into the venue, went through the searching line with nothing found on my body, and was trying to meet up with my friendsAt this point, I was pulled to the side by venue security and searched more times, this time much more thoroughlyI asked why they pulled me off to the side and the building manager (not just some punk employee, the building manager) said I "looked suspicious" started barking orders at me like "where are the drugs", yelling obscenities as wellI told him I had nothing on me, and they could feel free to strip search me, and they refusedAfter refusing a strip search, I was then forcefully removed from the venue and had to sit out in the pouring rain until the show was overKeep in mind I live in Appleton, almost hours away I am extremely disappointed and actually ashamed of the way this business conducts securityI believe the security team was Original RFM or something of the sort, but well over half the employees deserve to be firedI have seen guards rolling, tripping, etc while they are on the job, *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** 0/

This venue has had issues for agesI haven't ever really bothered to file a complaint before because I feel I make no impact only being one personBut fellow concert goers and I have been consistently seeing reoccurring issues and feel that it I'd time to speak up about itPeople have had a wide variety of issues with this venue such as financial, security, beverages, privacy, illegal searches, stealing, poor management, banned items, and much moreFinancially, they like to make ticket prices look decent at first, but then sometimes tack on up to another $or more in fees onto your ticket priceThis ties in to beverage issues, but they charge $for a plastic cup of waterThey literally grab a bottle of water, open it, then dump the water in a cupSo they're overcharging the *** out of you for a water, wasting double the plastic, and encouraging concert goers to dehydrate themselves because water is too expensive to affordWhich is not a good idea when you know that a majority of music fans are on drugs and need to stay hydratedIf you don't have an avid supply of water for your customers, you should not be holding concerts, whether people are on drugs or notOne of my other biggest issues though is with securityTo be fair there are some security members who do a great job and bring positivity to their environment, but ide say the probability of running into one of those security members compared to a rude one is 1:Security tends to be way too rough with some people and a lot of times with accusationsI've seen them beat spectators, drag them, rip clothes, illegally search, steal items, and try to bribe people money for their stolen items backThis is absolutely unacceptableTo touch on the banned items category, they tend to ban items or not allow certain things in their venue which they have previously allowed before handSo people will come in certain costume pieces or bandanas that they've worn to a previous concert and all the sudden it's not allowed so your required to throw it away or you can't enterI could understand this with certain items and certain situations but bandanas? To ensure the safety of our guests / performing artists and to make sure the concert experience is enjoyable for all of our patrons, it is our company’s policy to not allow gum in the building. This is clearly stated in the “Customer Safety Guidelines” section on our website. I have provided a...

link here: [redacted]. We not only take great pride in the cleanliness of our venue but the customer service we provide to patrons.  We very often work with customers who require special accommodations, for example ADA seating, providing an elevator for those that cannot use stairs and accessible bathrooms. We apologize that the customer felt it was an unfair situation, but this is not a policy that will change. Please feel free to give the customer my information in case he has any other questions, comments, or concerns. Thank you,April [redacted] The Rave / Eagles Club[redacted] [redacted] [redacted] * [redacted]

The Rave is probably one of the worst venues in Wisconsin, if not the entire midwest. I have had multiple issues with the venue, the host's of the venue, and the security employed by the venue. One of the most recent times I have been harassed and straight up disrespected by The Rave was Safe in Sound, in 2015. I had just gotten into the venue, went through the searching line with nothing found on my body, and was trying to meet up with my friends. At this point, I was pulled to the side by venue security and searched 2 more times, this time much more thoroughly. I asked why they pulled me off to the side and the building manager (not just some punk employee, the building manager) said I "looked suspicious" started barking orders at me like "where are the drugs", yelling obscenities as well. I told him I had nothing on me, and they could feel free to strip search me, and they refused. After refusing a strip search, I was then forcefully removed from the venue and had to sit out in the pouring rain until the show was over. Keep in mind I live in Appleton, almost 2 hours away. I am extremely disappointed and actually ashamed of the way this business conducts security. I believe the security team was Original RFM or something of the sort, but well over half the employees deserve to be fired. I have seen guards rolling, tripping, etc while they are on the job, [redacted] 0/10

This venue has had issues for ages. I haven't ever really bothered to file a complaint before because I feel I make no impact only being one person. But fellow concert goers and I have been consistently seeing reoccurring issues and feel that it I'd time to speak up about it. People have had a wide variety of issues with this venue such as financial, security, beverages, privacy, illegal searches, stealing, poor management, banned items, and much more. Financially, they like to make ticket prices look decent at first, but then sometimes tack on up to another $20 or more in fees onto your ticket price. This ties in to beverage issues, but they charge $5 for a plastic cup of water. They literally grab a bottle of water, open it, then dump the water in a cup. So they're overcharging the [redacted] out of you for a water, wasting double the plastic, and encouraging concert goers to dehydrate themselves because water is too expensive to afford. Which is not a good idea when you know that a majority of music fans are on drugs and need to stay hydrated. If you don't have an avid supply of water for your customers, you should not be holding concerts, whether people are on drugs or not. One of my other biggest issues though is with security. To be fair there are some security members who do a great job and bring positivity to their environment, but ide say the probability of running into one of those security members compared to a rude one is 1:5. Security tends to be way too rough with some people and a lot of times with false accusations. I've seen them beat spectators, drag them, rip clothes, illegally search, steal items, and try to bribe people money for their stolen items back. This is absolutely unacceptable. To touch on the banned items category, they tend to ban items or not allow certain things in their venue which they have previously allowed before hand. So people will come in certain costume pieces or bandanas that they've worn to a previous concert and all the sudden it's not allowed so your required to throw it away or you can't enter. I could understand this with certain items and certain situations but bandanas? LED gloves? Costume masks? People like to dress up for shows, the rave should respect that and not be two-faced on when things can or cannot be brought in or worn. Last week my buddy and I both brought out e cigs and e juice into the venue and security let me through just fine with my ecig and juice but my buddy was required to throw his bottle of juice in the trash or he couldn't come in, even tho they just let me in with mine. So that's $20 in the trash. I could go on with more explanations and occurrences but I don't have the time to list everything that that venue needs work on. Thank you for taking the time to read my concerns.

I do not recommend the rave. It is a dirty venue with $5 water cups, disrespectful security who also has no regard for the law. Management is [redacted] poor and no help. They have essentially a monopoly in Wisconsin and they take advantage of that. I have been harassed countless times by security and also Illegally detained and searched by security for "acting suspicious" (not a crime). I was doing nothing wrong. I have reached out to management with no response and plan to file complaints with the ACLU for civil rights violations. I would recommend you stay far far away from this venue as they have no regard for the law and are not there to help. I've watched girls be sexually harassed, guys get beat up, people overdose and pass out with no help from security yet they are wasting their time pulling random people out of the room for "acting suspicious" I've had my car broken into outside of the venue. we we're parked a half of a block from the entrance. I suggest you find another venue.

I wanted to buy a concert ticket and when I was trying to pay for it I saw some extra fees associated with the final price.
I was being charged a 'Ticket Fee' of $6.00, and then charged a 'Order fee' for $5.00. Why am I being charged 2 separate times after the original ticket price of $35?
This looks like a last second money grab.

Ordered tickets online and was going to give it as a gift, so proceeded with the electronic delivery option. Therefore, purchase was confirmed and tickets were emailed. 2 Days later, I get this email sent to me: "Please note that the delivery method for your

tickets has been changed to Will Call.

Your tickets will be available for pick-up at the

box office the night of the event. A valid photo

ID will be required to pick up the tickets. Name

changes are NOT allowed for this event.

If you chose print at home delivery, your printed

tickets are no longer valid. You will have to pick

up tickets at the venue with a valid ID the night

of the show."

Wow, must be really convenient for a place to decide what they want to do when they want to. No clarity or consistency? Such a bad experience, never will attend a show here again.
